NCAA Preview: Who Will Make It to the Final Four?

The fight for those four spots in the NCAA Tournament is obviously contentious.

Kansas with their all-around superiority and Memphis with excellent performers Joey Dorsey, Chris Douglas-Roberts, and Derek Rose each seem to be locks for one of those four spots. You can also figure that either Duke or North Carolina will nab the third spot, depending on who wins their regular season series. But that fourth spot…

Some guess UCLA will fill out the tourney and they obviously deserve consideration, but their Pac-10 schedule isn't the easiest so in my opinion they’re far from the best pick. Still, who knows? The All-American bust (errr, guard) Deron Collison and Diaper Dandy Kevin Love could possibly pull it out.

And what about Michigan State? With Drew Neitzal, this team may be a possibility. Michigan also possesses great rebounding skills and a run-and-gun offense that could lead them to success.

Indiana, well, they’re a long shot after the loss to Connecticut. But with Eric Gordan, I don’t know, they could pull it out.

Washington State is another good team, but their Pac 10 schedule is tough along with their big loss to UCLA. Their chances are iffy.

And Texas?? Well after this week's rankings are made public, if they are in the top 10, who knows. I mean, D.J. Augustin is probably the best point guard in the nation, so with a leader like him and with A.J. Abrams coming out of this shooting slump, this team just might stand a chance. It'll all come down to how they do against Kansas and the other teams in the Big 12.

Georgetown is also a possibility…maybe? Roy Hibbert is picking up the slack but they'll probably need a couple more game winning threes from the big man to put them in contention.

And Tennessee? Chris Lofton found his touch last week, which is bad news for the SCC.

In reality, it’s still anyone’s game.

Tom Brady the Master of His Game: What's So Super about One-sided XLII?

HA! This so called Super Bowl isn't going to be nearly as exciting as its title suggests.

The Patriots are 18-0 with only a few close games—thought these were against the Giants. But look, the most exciting moment of this Super Bowl will be when the Patriots release their injury reports to reveal that Tom Brady is fully ready to go, squashing the Giants’ hopes of any easy win.

Yes, Eli Manning has performed well in these playoffs and has managed luck in a few key plays. Plus, Ahmad Bradshaw’s excellent running has certainly been an asset.

But this is TOM BRADY we’re talking about, and he’s not just a GQ model. Brady is without a doubt the best quarterback in the league and has a rejuvenated Randy Moss along with an under-the-radar Wes Welker.

As additional advantage, the Patriots boast several veterans on defense, such as Tedy Bruschi and Rodney Harrison.

Brady and his Patriots will easily give the Giants the "boot".
