NFL Mikee's Adventures in Fantasy Football: Week 12's Winning Record

The New Orleans Saints , and a few fantasy football teams live or die on Drew Brees and this offensive machine, complete with running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends.

Team No. 3, NFL Mikee's Maulers have Brees and the 44 he scored this week, to make it to 8-4 in their Fox league. That's a nice four in a row for this team.

The Maulers are tied for third among 12 teams, has the most points scored in the league with 1198.6.

This week the Maulers will start Brees, T. Hightower, Darren Sproles, Steve Smith. Vernon Davis,Wes Welker, Derek Mason, Nate Kaeding, and the Arizona defense.

Sorry to skip around this week, in order of teams. I think this fantasy football stuff is helping my picking the games when I look at match-ups. Straight up I am now 117-57 and 60 games over 500 already this season.

The point spreads are anther matter entirely, but I am at a healthy 97-77. You can always check out my pick articles every week. I was 13-3 last week, I believe.

Team one, NFL Mikee's Molemen won to regain some footing in that Yahoo league. Now at 7-5 the Molemen are in fourth place out of 10 teams, and strangely enough, second in points scored with 1215.14 points.

My teams seem to score many points, but some crazy total from one or two guys from the opponents team, and whammo, you lose that week. Does this happen to everyone?

Week 13 will start for the Molemen, Brett Favre, Sidney Rice, Andre Johnson, Derrick Mason, Pierre Thomas, Heath Miller, and Frank Gore. Akers kicking and the Eagles defense.

Team two, the TWO Wreckers appear human after all, as they lose for the second week in a row, and are now 10-2.

This team is tied for first in a ten team league, with 1258.36 which leads this league in points scored.

The starters will be Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Vincent Jackson,Adrian Peterson, Hines Ward, Ladainian Tomlinson, Brent Celek, John Carney, and the Steeler defense. This team is seeded first so far in it's little playoff thing at the end.

Now in my ESPN League teams we have team four, the South Florida Tarpons, who lost and dropped to 5-7.

This team struggles and was an auto-drafted team, who had to be tweaked, a bit. They are in seventh place out of 10 teams. Oddly enough they are only one game out of first in their five-team division. Odd!

The current line up .which has been changed frequently has this week, Josh Freeman, in Tampa Bay's shot at win No. two this season. Heck, why not. I think he can get 20 points this week.

The other starters will be Matt Forte, Willis McGahee, Frank Gore, Hines Ward, Davone Bess, Jeremy Shockey, the San Francisco defense, and Dan Carpenter kicking.

Team five, the Fort Myers Mustangs got a win and improved to 7-4-1. This team is in third place, and second in it's division of five teams out of 10.

This team starts Donovan McNabb, Steve Slaton, Rashard Mendenhall, Johnny Knox, Randy Moss, Roddy White,Tony Gonzalez, the San Francisco defense, and Nate Kaeding doing the kicking.

Team six, the LaBelle Cowboys are now in second place at 7-5. They lead the five team division, whatever that means, and have really improved since a very bad start, 0-4, I think. they did win this week.

This team will start in Week 13, Matt Schaub, Pierre Thomas. Rashard Mendenhall, Steve Smith, Larry Fitzgerald, Hines Ward, Brent Celek, the Chargers defense, and Matt Prater kicking.

Team seven, The North Fort Myers Warlocks lost this week, with a very low point total. Just a bad week, I think as this team overall is 10-2 and in second place.

We were missing Roethlisberger last week, but he will be ready against the Raiders.

Also starting in Week 13 will be Frank Gore,Thomas Jones, who might have a monster game against Buffalo, Wes Welker, Larry Fitzgerald, Hines Ward, Brent Celek, the 49er defense, and Nate Kaeding doing the kicking.

How this team could only manage 68 points last week, even without Roethlisberger is beyond me.

Overall my teams are 54-29-1. That's pretty good, I think.

Well enjoy Florida/Alabama Saturday, as that will be a crazy game to watch, with, I guess, Tebow putting on his cape and winning one more SEC Title, plus maybe one more BCS Trophy as well.

God luck to all your fantasy players and favorite teams, and have a great week.

Week 13 NFL Point Spread Winners: Key Plays and Games To Avoid

The Eagles are in Atlanta with the Falcon team pretty banged up this week. Take the Eagles by 4.5 on the road. Without Turner and Ryan, this could be a rough day for the offense.

Denver takes on the Arrowhead curse Sunday, as they are 1-19 the last 20 games there, someone has kindly told me. Still, the numbers point to a Denver win in this one. The past is the past. Denver covers to stay close to San Diego. The line is also 4.5

The Jets are in Buffalo and expect a huge dose of Thomas Jones , and Revis keeping Owens from having a big day. The Jets win by a field goal or more.

Indianapolis is at home against winners of five in a row, the Tennessee Titans. Indianapolis has their own 10 game thing going. The Colts pass defense will present problems to Vince Young, but Chris Johnson is a bigger threat in this one.

Still, you must respect Peyton Manning to get this win at home. The Colts cover the 6.5 here.

Houston is in an early playoff battle to make the post season, already with this game against Jacksonville. The winner of this one will still have a shot making the playoffs. The loser.......well. Bah, Humbug. I like Houston to win. This game looks like a pick it. No points.

Cincinnati has Detroit in the Buck-Eye State and will go to 9-3 and a solid hold on the division. The Bengals will win, but I will take Detroit with 12.5 points. Seems like too many points to give.

Tampa Bay has a chance to win game No. two this season, and I will take them up on that. Carolina has injury problems, quarterback issues, and is not that much better that Tampa. You get a whopping 6.5 points as well. Go Bucs.

Pittsburgh will tune back up against Oakland and win easily.Big Ben will play and they will cover up to 10 points with no problem. Perhaps even 14.

New England should cover the depleted wild-cat and have enough passing offense to beat the Dolphins. The line is only five and this is a solid play this week.

Chicago has the Rams at home and are favored by nine. You have to take the Bears in this one, but the way they have been playing, The Rams might be a good cover with nine points. Cutler is really due for a decent game. Chicago wins this one, and hopefully covers the nine. Stay away from this one. It's no fun.

New Orleans will continue winning against Washington , who will have no answers to the Saints. This is a strong play with New Orleans running away with this game. Nine and half seems easy.

San Diego has a vacation type game against Cleveland, who I give absolutely zero chance of winning this one. The line is 12.5 and I can't imagine anyone betting on the Browns.

The struggling San Francisco Forty-Niners play Seattle in the rainy north-west. I don't see enough talent to beat the Niners in this game. San Francisco by a field goal at least.

The Giants are at home against the hated division rival Cowboys.Dallas is favored by two, but the Giants will have a bit of a resurgence and win this game by 3-4 points.

If Romo can pull this off, only then will I believe the Cowboys will be relevant in the playoffs.

Minnesota visits Arizona and brings Brett Favre, some confident pass catchers, and Adrian Peterson. The Minnesota pass rush might get Warner out early in this one. Take the Vikings, giving a couple of points.

Green Bay is at home against Baltimore and it's time for Aaron Rodgers to take over this team, and take them down the stretch. The defense has looked brilliant at times , almost shutting out Dallas in that win.

But the loss to Tampa Bay made people wonder if Green Bay can make the big time once more. The Packers at home are favored by three and they will cover this time.

104-85 to date against the spread. Plus 19 is ok, but I really expect a couple of good weeks to get this 30 games over 500.

Week 13 NFL Power Ratings: Three Teams Are Superior To the Rest

The Colts kept their win streak rolling at 11-0 to keep firmly in the No. 2 power ranking position. Next week they host the Titans and should win this game to keep high in the rankings.

New Orleans is of course, No. 1, and plays No.4 New England on Monday Night Football.

New Orleans can stay at No. 1 with a win , or drop to No. 3 with a loss. If New England pulls off the upset, New England will grab No.3, knocking the Saints to No. 4.

Minnesota, currently is No. 3, of course. The Vikings also would benefit from a Saints loss in the power ranking world.

Dallas is No. 5 at 8-3 and hoping for a New England loss to move up.

San Diego is at No. 6 and Cincinnati is number 7, each team at 8-3.

Denver had risen up a notch and is now No. 8 at 7-4.

Green Bay is on a roll now at 7-4 and is ranked No. 9.

Arizona is now No.10 amid quarterback issues. Warner is key to this team making the playoffs and advancing.

No. 11 are the Giants, who need wins in the next two weeks against Philadelphia and Dallas to get it going for a wild card spot most likely.

No. 12 will be the Philadelphia Eagles, who also need a win next week against a hurting Atlanta team.

No 13 are the Baltimore Ravens, who trying to keep their playoff hopes alive at 6-5.

No 14 are the 6-5 Atlanta Falcons, who must beat Philadelphia next week to stay alive in a playoff hunt as well.

The Giants occupy the No. 15 position and will need some breaks to make the playoffs this season.

Pittsburgh is at number 16, mainly due to injuries and will also need a break to qualify for the postseason.

Jacksonville has moved up and is 6-5, even after a loss to San Francisco. No 17 to the Jags.

Tennessee is right back in it now at 5-6 and is hot, but must play Indianapolis next week. Tennessee is at No. 18.

Miami is at No. 19, followed by the Jets at No. 20.

Houston has fallen to No 21 and must win out to make the post-season.

The Forty-Niners are at No 22 and also have a long road to the playoffs this season.

Carolina is at No. 23, followed by Buffalo at No. 24.

Chicago has fallen all the way down to 25 now, and could drop further.

Kansas City has No 26, and Washington is No. 27.

The Raiders are at No.28. Tampa Bay, thanks to the play of rookie QB Josh Freeman, moved up to No. 29.

Detroit is at No. 30, and the Rams are No. 31.

The worst team in professsional football is still...... the Cleveland Browns.

Thomas NFL Mikee Moreland.

Week 13 NFL Predictions: Playoffs Loom Large On Teams Game Plans

Denver must now give chase to San Diego in the AFC West as the Chargers will win against Kansas City in Week 12 and keep a one-game lead.

In Week 13, the Broncos play Kansas City in Arrowhead Stadium and should win this one to run their record to 8-4.

The Jets have Buffalo and should win this one, even though it’s on the road. New York still has little chance to make the playoffs unless Mark Sanchez suddenly matures one season early, and takes them on a run starting this week.

The Jets will beat Buffalo, but after that, no one knows.

Philadelphia travels to Atlanta and needs a win, but so do the Falcons. Matt Ryan and his offense should outscore Philadelphia for a close home victory.

Indianapolis, on autopilot to the playoffs, has Tennessee in the friendly confines at home in Indiana. We have to take the best team in the AFC to this point, and give the Colts the nod on this one.

Houston takes on Jacksonville in Florida and should nail this road win becoming one step closer to the first playoff game in franchise history. Houston must keep winning now, and hope the chips fall right for the Texans.

Cincinnati will handle Detroit at home and remain a good solid 9-3 for the season. The Steelers sitting Ben Roethlisberger last week, basically said, here's the division Bengals, take it.

Tampa Bay will have their only real shot at another win this season, against the Carolina Panthers on the road. I would almost take the Bucs in this one, but I think not.

Carolina wins this one at home.

The Steelers will have Roelthlisberger back hopefully, and handle the Raiders, to keep their playoff hopes alive.

New England is in Miami, and should handle the reduced wildcat without Ronnie Brown.

The Patriots are trying to get a high seed for the playoffs at this point, and will play hard up until at least Week 15, then maybe rest some key players.

The Bears may finally win one as they host the Rams. I will take the Bears to get it done.

New Orleans, on cruise control to the NFC Championship Game, will beat Washington on the road easily.

San Diego will take Cleveland on the road easily as well to keep the division lead.

The 49ers have Seattle on a trip north, and should handle the Seahawks to keep very faint playoff hopes alive. These hopes are very faint, like barely a pulse.

Dallas has a big test with the Giants in the Meadowlands. I would take Dallas in this one, except it’s time for the big fold-o by the Cowboys going down the stretch.

I will take the Giants at home, who have something to prove still, while Dallas will be complacent it seems in this one.

The Vikings travel to the desert and take on Arizona. This season, the Vikings added some Favre guy for the trip west. Advantage, Vikings.

On Monday, the Ravens travel to Green Bay and take on the surging Packers. This should be a pretty good one. Green Bay, at home as of late, seems like a good pick.

The Ravens are fighting for the playoffs and so are the Packers. This is like a mini-playoff game to make the playoffs. Take the Packers in this one.

Thomas [NFL Mikee] Moreland.

NFL Week 11 Results: NFL Mikee's Adventures in Fantasy Football

My seven teams managed a winning record of 4-3 this week. Three of my teams are in 1st place in their leagues.

Team one, the Molemen, won and are now 6-5. This has them in fourth in a twelve team league. Their point total, at 1129.16, is the second highest total in that league.

The team's line up has been refashioned because of losses, and is now doing better.

The starters are Brett Favre, Sidney Rice, Steve Smith, Andre Johnson, Pierre Thomas, Frank Gore, Heath Miller, David Akers, and the Eagles' defense.

Team two, The TWO Wreckers, lost its first game to drop to 10-1 for the season—but is still holding on to first with a strong line up.

Starting are Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Vincent Jackson, Hines Ward, Adrian Peterson, Brent Celek, LaDanian Tomlinson, Robbie Gould, and the Steelers' defense.

The Fox team, team three, NFL Mikee's Maulers, is now 7-4 in its league. This has the Maulers in third place, two games out of first.

Week 12 will starters are Drew Brees, Ryan Grant, who scored 8.3 this week already, Tim Hightower, Steve Smith (in action at press time), Wes Welker, Vernon Davis, Derek Mason, Nate Kaeding, and the Arizona defense.

Team four, the South Florida Tarpons, lost and fell to 5-6. This is perhaps my weakest team week-in, and week-out.

Here are your week 12 starters for the Tarps: Matt Cassell, Matt Forte, DeAngelo Williams, Frank Gore, Hines Ward, Steve Breaston, John Carlson, the Forty-Niners' defense, and Dan Peterson.

Team five, the Fort Myers Mustangs, is 6-4-1, and lost by just three points last week.

This team is in third place in its league.

Starting in Week 12 will be Donovan McNabb, Steve Slaton, Rashard Mendenhall, Anquan Boldin, Randy Moss, Roddy White, Tony Gonzalez, the Niners' defense, and Nate Kaeding.

Team six, the Labelle Cowboys, is on the move up with its win last week. They are in second place now after an 0-4 start. That coach is a genius. The Cowboys are 6-5 now.

The Week 12 starters will be: Matt Schaub, Pierre Thomas, Rashard Mendenhall, Steven Jackson, Hines Ward, Larry Fitzgerald, Brent Celek, the Arizona defense, and Matt Prater.

Team seven, The North Fort Myers Warlocks, won last week to get to 10-1, and first-place in it's league.

This team starts Ben Roethlisberger, Frank Gore, Thomas Jones, Wes Welker, Hines Ward, Larry Fitzgerald, Brent Celek, the Forty Niner defense and Nate Kaeding.

Good luck to all your fantasy teams. My seven teams are a combined 50-26-1, Not bad.

Who You Will See In the NFL Playoffs! Early Edition

You will see Tony Romo attempt to win a playof game this season. What fun! The Cowboys are 8-3 now and should challenge to at least clinch a wild card soon.

The Packers are at 7-4 and will challenge for a playoff spot, but may fall short. Let's check everyone else out, and see where the Packers may slip in.

The Cincinnati Bengals have a clear path to the AFC North division. The pesky Steelers may have to settle for a wild card path through the playoffs.

New Orleans is in, Minnesota is in, and New England is in.

Two NFC spots left and three AFC.

Arizona gets in winning that division, most likely.

Indianapolis is in.

San Diego wins that division.

The Steelers bang out a wild card, and in the NFC the last team that makes it is the...Giants.

The last AFC team to squeak in will be the Houston Texans.

Yes, Packer fans, you barely beat out Philly and Atlanta and you make the playoffs.

Next stop, the Purgatory of Brett Favre never leaving you alone.

NFL Week Twelve Point Spread Plays to Ponder

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone as we get three games on Thursday to enjoy while we eat.

Green Bay plays Detroit in Michigan and watch out—weird things happen in these holiday games. Green Bay should play better defense than this team to cover the 11 points.

Dallas is at home against a new energized team with Russell finally benched. Thank goodness. However, Oakland will not have enough offense to score enough on Dallas.

The Giants are in Denver and this is your best shot at a small upset, with the Giants beating the reeling Broncos. The Giants are actually favored by 6.5. Oakland gets 13.5 and this could be a smart play also—Oakland's defense could keep them in this game.

Sunday we have Atlanta covering the 12.5 points at home against the Tampa Bay Bucs.

Miami visits Buffalo and should come away with a victory and cover the three.

Cincinnati has Cleveland at home and this should be a scrimmage like game for Cincinnati to get to 8-3 for the season. Take Cincinnati and give the 14.

You only have to give three points and take Seattle at home against the Rams. This seems like an early Christmas present.

The Jets have Carolina to deal with and have to win by three. I like Carolina in the nothing to lose, loose mode. Upset waiting to happen.

Philadelphia has Washington at home and this should not be a contest. The good teams will start separation from the pack this week. Take the Eagles and give the nine points.

Houston hosts undefeated Indianapolis and has to win this game to be considered a playoff team. I will take Houston to win this one, as Indy keeps slipping away like a jellyfish and their bubble will get popped this week. Houston gets three points.

San Diego should have an easy time with Kansas City in San Diego. San Diego is rolling along in control of the division all of a sudden. San Diego needs to show a big cover at 14, and also show they can handle winning.

The 49ers should handle the Jags at home by three or more. This defense has been up and down, so handle Maurice Jones Drew and win this one. Interceptions are possible in this one for the Niner defense.

Arizona has a new road look with wins in Chicago and New York this season. They bring the winter coats and play well. Tennessee will have a slight let down after four wins in a row and Arizona wins this one by double digits.

If Warner does not start, all bets are off, and take Tennessee at home.

Minnesota is at home against Chicago. Minnesota should be very careful of a Jay Cutler hot game, and plan their defense to bend , but not break. If Cutler gets hot, it could be a game. However I like Minnesota if I had to make a choice by the 11.5. Still, that's probably an uncomfortable bet.

The Steelers are in Baltimore and assuming Big Ben plays, Take the Steelers by around 5-6 points. Without Ben, Ravens easy.

You get three points taking New England which is the smart side to be on this week. New Orleans will not go undefeated, and this is a good week to start a small downward cycle.

New England will be hungrier than New Orleans in this one. After this week, there may be no undefeated teams left.

Enjoy your turkeys and God bless all our troops on Thanksgiving Day.

NFL Power Rankings, Week 12: Changes in the Power Zone

Wes Welker caught 15 balls, beating the Jets pretty good on Sunday. Your power teams, New Orleans, Indianapolis, and Minnesota, all remain in their respective No.s one, two, and three.

New Orleans is at 10-0. The same for Indianapolis at 10-0, with Minnesota at 9-1.New England is a dangerous team at 7-3.

Number four is now New England, bumping out Cincinnati, who lost to the Raiders.

No. five in the power rankings now are the San Diego Chargers, who are on a roll and now also 7-3.

No. six is now the Bengals taking an un-needed loss at Oakland and now 7-3.

Dallas moves up and is now No. seven at 7-3 for the season.

Arizona is getting comfortable in this position and knocked off Seattle easily to keep the No. eight position. Arizona is also 7-3, a popular number.

No. nine is now Pittsburgh ,taking a tumble down the ladder ,after getting schooled by Kansas City. The Steelers are 6-4.

No. 10 are the New York Giants after a gritty win at home beating Atlanta. Also 6-4.

No 11 are the surging Green Bay Packers who with a win next week against the Lions can reach 7-4. Very good positioning for a possible wild-card.

No 13 are now the Eagles at 5-5 if they beat the Bears tonight. They really need to win out.

The surprising Jacksonville team has vaulted into 14th place also being 6-4.

The Broncos continue to fall and now are at No. 12. 6-4 also.

Houston needs a win on Monday Night to move up. if they beat Tennessee. Right now, they are No. 15.

The Ravens are 5-5 and hover around the number 16 position.

Atlanta is now 5-5 and biting the bullet week after week. No. 17 is now yours. Just average.

Miami is ar 5-5 and has the misfortune of being 2 games behind New England, who might beat New Orleans next week.

Miami holds spot No. 18.

The best 4-6 team are the Jets, I suppose, and they occupy No. 19.

No. 20 also at 4-6, are the Forty-Niners. Not going to the playoffs, are these 4-6 teams.

No. 21 is Carolina also, a poor 2009/2010 effort at 4-6.

The best 3-7 team is the Kansas City Chiefs after beating the Steelers. No. 22 to the Chiefs. Good job, moving up out of the slime of losing.

The Bears are the opposite of Kansas City. At 3-7. theu should be ashamed of themselves. Number 23 and falling.

Tennesee is at number 24, but could move up, with an upset over the Houston Texans.

Oakland also moves up in the standings and grabs No. 25 with a big win over the Bengals.

Washington is at No. 26 and also fading fast.

Buffalo is a pretty bad team, with no head coach. 3-7 and No. 27.

No. 28 are the Seattle Seahawks who at 2-8 are going no where again this season.

No 29 are the Detroit Lions, who have beat Washington and Cleveland. That's it.

Tampa Bay has made a few good efforts in thier losses so No. 30 to them.

St Louis has a win and Steven Jackson, so they have the No.31 spot.

And the worst team in pro football is still the Cleveland Browns.

Thomas [NFL Mikee] Moreland.

One NFL Fan Rant to Another!

Refer to Photograph. " Damn, this phone number is smeared. I got to get some of that! Huh? Whats the play? C'mon Ben, distractions, distractions, distractions.

Their opponent, the inept Matt Cassell running for his life in every game, Kansas City Chiefs are horrible the last three seasons. A storied franchise in ruins. Hank Stram is pissed. Good Super Bowl win, back in the day, though.

Miami is an average team without a couple of big play wide receivers to throw the football for long patterns. Now it's the Ricky Williams show. Can the wildcat survive without Ronnie Brown?

They zapped Carolina, which isn't really beating anyone great this year. Jake is always a good name for a quarterback. Are Jakes usually in charge of stuff? Carolina is really inconsistent. I do not think they make the playoffs. Punchless Panthers.

That gets me to the almighty palace in Dallas, where individual pizza's can be $60-$100 each. People are mostly stupid at large events, and alcohol, disturbing their brains.

Washington is fun to watch the soap opera owner, I want to win, idiot. Get a coach, then go do something else. Build a pet shelter. Don't be a meathead, Snyder. Please get better, another storied franchise in shambles.

The Forty-Niners. Rah, Rah, Rah. Get a quarterback. A big name good quarterback. Singletary to Chicago. Get rid of that Lovie coach dude. Holmgren to coach Niners. There's a scoop for you. He Built a house in the Bay Area.

I am already sick of picking New Orleans and Minnesota to win week after week. What happened to putting out maximum effort and stepping up against good teams.

Who does Eli throw to if they double Steve Smith all the time. They better figure something out against Atlanta this week, or they are kings of suckdom.

Buffalo is horrible. T.0. who? Ah, hell. still the stats of a first ballot hall-of-famer.

Who can challenge the Jerry Rice stuff anyway? Those records will be around a while. Joe Montana forever.

Indianapolis rolls until they suck in a play off game and lose. Awe! Peyton can't get to Brady stuff. Please start your comments now, and end them in 2018 and we will add up who is better, Brady or Manning.

Dumb ass Giants. We want a Manning/Manning Super Bowl. Keep losing, if you don't try harder.

Can The Cleveland coach even walk very far? He is abusive and tyrant like? That's hilarious. Push him over. Little Jabba the Hutt will be gone from football a total failure.

The biggest loser could certainly use you in a coming season, huge blob like ogre coach. You are scary, dude.

Oh great Aaron Rodgers???? Beat the frickin Tampa Bay Bucs!!!!! Every game, every year, every time. Are you idiots?

I'm an NFL Quarterback with ADD. C'mon McNabb, go play right. and eat some clock. Your defense will win it. Don't call any time outs or get in an overtime game, or anything. Don't make any play decisions. Trust Coach Andy.

I am sick of Houston sucking all the time. Could the defense play at a professional level so Matt Schaub, Steve Slaton, and Andre Johnson, doesn't have to carry your slow asses the whole game.

Jacksonville has two good guys. That's it. That's funny.

The Chargers/Saints Super Bowl would be cool. Can the Chargers also play defense at a professional level so your team could be great? What your problems, idiots. Cover better. Concentrate. Don't look foolish.

I pick 'em right. Happy weekend little football mice.

Thomas [NFL Mikee] Moreland

Week 12 NFL Predictions: Playoffs or Not?

Green Bay plays Detroit in the early Thanksgiving game. The Packers have good match-ups and can control this game. Take Green Bay to be at 7-4 possibly.

Dallas has a showcase game against Oakland in the house that Jerry built. Dallas wins on Thanksgiving, almost always. Home teams on holidays are money.

The last Thanksgiving game is Denver at home against the Giants. Both teams need the win. Denver and the home crowd should win a close one.

Seattle is at the St. Louis rest stop in the NFL. Seattle gets a win at last.

Miami at 5-5 can handle Buffalo, and stay in a playoff race, A string of wins is needed.

Cleveland travels to Cincinnati and gets mauled by the hungry Bengals. The Bengals will be at a healthy 9-2, and the second-best team in the AFC.

Houston can put themselves in a nice position, and maybe a 7-4 record. This would be my upset pick of the week. Houston at home. Matt Schaub gets points every week. Take care of the football, Houston.

Atlanta will outscore Tampa Bay by double in a rout in Atlanta. The Falcons have to win this one, for early playoff implications.

Philadelphia has Washington, at home, where they are really good. In the Eagles scheme must be balance. Could be low scoring, with the pass defenses. Take the Eagles at home.

Carolina has nothing to lose at 4-6 now, so the Jets get caught by the I don't care, fancy-free style, which will beat you sometimes. Delhomme looks unbeatable in this one. Panthers win in upset.

The Forty-Niners host the Jags and can win this game, with defense. Stop one receiver, and one running back and you win. Simple formula if you can pull it off. San Francisco wins big in this one, however. Frank Gore, two Touchdowns.

San Diego should have no trouble with Kansas City in a division game. The Chargers at home are a comfortable pick.

Minnesota wins their home game against Chicago for a chokehold on that division. New Orleans and Minnesota is going to be a good one.

The Cardinals on the road have been great, so is the clunker due? Tennessee is desperate to get this win at home. I think they get after Warner early, and Chris Johnson gets a couple of early scores.

Tennessee wins a close one at home.

They just keep getting better, as Pittsburgh travels to Baltimore to face the Ravens. Pittsburgh and Baltimore really need the win here. This will be a war. Steelers just seem better than the Ravens this season. Take Pittsburgh in another close one.

New England travels to New Orleans in a big Monday Night Football game. I like Tom Brady to win this game on the last possession.

For the season, I am around 106-52 in my pick articles with no point spreads. In my weekly point spread articles, I am 91-67 approximately following Week 11 action.

Have a great week and good luck to all your teams.

NFL Mikee's Adventures In Fantasy Football: Week 10 a Good One!

All my teams won except for one, so 6-1, is good, right?

NFL Mikee's Molemen, team one, lost and is now 5-5. Tied for fifth in that particular league. Seeme like a decent line-up but just a 500 team, so far.

Week 11 will start Kurt Warner, Sidney Rice,Steve Smith, Andre Johnson,Pierre Thomas, Frank Gore,Heath Miller,David Akers, and the Philadelphia defense.

Team two, The TWO Wreckers are still undefeated at 9-0. This team is pretty good.

Week 11 starts Tom Brady, Randy Moss,Vincent Jackson,Adrian Peterson,Hines Ward, LaDanian Tomlinson, Hines Ward, Brent Celek, Robbie Gould, and the Steeler defense.

NFL Mikee's Maulers, team three, won to get a current record of 6-4. I've worked on this team from an auto-draft line up and this team is making progress.

Week 11 will start Drew Brees, T Hightower, Ryan Grant, Steve Smith, Wes Welker,Brent Celek, Derek Mason, Nate Kaeding, and the Arizona defense.

Team four the Soth Florida Tarpons, are 5-5, and improving a bit, This week we will take a shot, benching Matt Cassell, and picking up Josh Freeman just for fun.

Also starting will be Matt Forte, DeAngelo Williams,Frank Gore, Hines Ward,Steve Breaston, John Carlson, the Fortry Niner defense, and Dan Carpenter. A fun team.

Team five, the Fort Myers Mustangs, are 6-3-1, and in third place in their league.

This week's starters will be Donovan McNabb, Steve Slaton, Rashard Mendenhall,Anquan Boldin, Randy Moss, Roddy White,Tony Gonzales, the Niner defense, and Nate Kaeding.

Team six, The LaBelle Cowboys have made it to 5-5 after an 0-4 start. We are moving up.

Starters will be Matt Schaub, Pierre Thomas, Rashard Mendenhall, Steven Jackson,Larry Fitzgerald, Steve Smith,Brent Celek, the Arizona defense, and Matt Prater.

The Nort Fort Myers Warlocks, are 9-1.

The Week 11 starters will be Kurt Warner, Frank Gore, Thomas Jones, Wes Welker,Larry Fitzgerald, Hines Ward, Brent Celek, the Forty-Niner defense and Nate Kaeding.

Good luck in all your fantasy leagues, except against me.

Week 11 Point Spread Picks for the NFL 81-61 to Date

I survived some non-covers to go 8-7 last week. But overall, not bad so far at 20 games over .500.

Who are these people on Yahoo that have 120 wins and 22 losses? That's sick against the points.

Probably people with many, many identities and random picks. No earthling can pick games against the line like that.

Anyway, to the business at hand. Pittsburgh will beat Kansas City with many catches by Ward and Miller, and a healthy Mendenhall dose.

Kansas City lost Bowe for four games, plus Larry Johnson departs as well. Pittsburgh is not Oakland, and this should be over by halftime. Pittsburgh and I give the 10 points.

Ronnie Brown is out for Miami, so the defense will concentrate on Williams, and shutting down Henne's longer pass illusions. Carolina has no where to go but up. They are doing better.

The line is Carolina by three, which I suggest is the correct play on this game.

Dallas at home, should come back after scoring only seven last week against Green Bay. What's really up with that? The Packers lost to Tampa Bay.

Take Dallas in a good effort to cover the 11.

Detroit is favored by 3 1/2 points over Cleveland, and although Detroit should win, this spread is worrisome. Go with your good impulses and talent comparison on both teams. Detriot wins by 8-10 points.

The Packers are at home again for the second week in a row, hosting the San Francisco 49ers. Singletary will have these guys ready to rock. I like the Niners as an underdog getting 6 1/2 points.

Minnesota is at home against Seattle and 11 should be a decent number to take the Vikings to dominate this game. Something along the lines of 31-10 could be the score of this one.

The Giants are favored by 6.5 over Atlanta, and I think the Giants will win, but by less than the spread. I like Atlanta to step it up and compete to the end in this one.

New Orleans is in Tampa Bay, who has become competitive in the last three games. Josh Freeman is stepping up, and is a good quarterback to grab in fantasy if you have an underperformer to drop.

However, New Orleans will have way to much for this defense to deal with. Take New Orleans to keep on rolling over the Bucs. The line is 11.5.

Jacksonville, although playing better, is favored by too many giving 8.5 to Buffalo. I think Buffalo hangs in there in this one, and could play well enough to keep it close.

Just seems like too many points to a team that lost to Seattle 42-0.

Baltimore is fighting for it's playoff life and finds a 9-0 Indianapolis knocking. The Ravens are favored by one. As I, and the oddsmakers know, Indy will lose one soon—as defensive injuries mount, plus running back issues. Take the Ravens in a small upset.

Arizona is really stepping it up and should be good to go against the Rams , and are favored by nine.

San Diego is favored on the road over Denver. San Diego is hot and lookling to get a one game division lead. Denver has lost three in a row. I like San Diego in this one by a couple of points.

The red hot Bengals will beat the Raiders, by a few. Nine and a half seems like a lot, but we shall see how Carson Palmer plays leading that division. Don't get complacent, Bengals. You will see Pittsburgh one more time when it really counts. Take the Bengals in this one.

New England has a home game against the not so high flying Jets, now at 4-5. New England is favored by 11.5, but who can bet on the Jets except Jet fans? Take New England and give the points.

Philadelphia is in Chicago and needs to step it up this week. Chicago is hopeless, and Philadelphia is a better team. This will be it if the Eagles can't get a win. I will take McNabb to manage this game properly and the Eagle defense to hold Forte to a minimum of damage. The Eagles win by 4.

Houston can really make a serious playoff run with a win against the surging Titans, now at 3-6, while Houston is 5-4 and hungry. All of a sudden, if Tennessee wins they are only one game behind Houston. Things change in a hurry in the NFL sometimes.

I will take Houston to get the win, and make a playoff run this season. That is, make the playoffs for the first time.

Have a nice week.

NFL Week 11 Official Power Rankings: Clear Thoughts For The Cloudy Minds

Cincinnati took a big jump in the standings and is now one of the AFC favorites to make it to the Super Bowl, along with New England, and Indianapolis.

The Steelers without Polamalu is like a day without sunshine. Gloomy and dark.

Your number one team in the NFL is...............The New Orleans Saints.

No. 2, is Peyton Manning and the Colts. They are undefeated unless New England gets them tonight, then the Colts drop two spots, and New England goes up one to two positions.

No. 3 position is held by the Minnesota Vikings ar 8-1. There is no explantion here. They have the third best record in the league against some quality teams.

No. 4 are the Cincinnati Bengals. A big win over Pittsburgh, sweeping that series, and a 7-2 record that should in all reality be 8-1. This team is all about the W.

Deep breath here now. Relax. Clear your mind of all barriers and let the truth flow. Hang on not to past dreams, but the reality of today. Denver has lost three in a row. Dallas got shut out in Green Bay, who can't beat Tampa Bay.

No one else is eligible for this number five spot so welcome back Patriots the the top five of professsional football. Fear Bill Belichick and Tom Brady in the playoffs.

Currently the New England Patriots are in the number five spot with maybe a 7-2 record if they can knock off No. 2 Indianapolis. The Colts could fall as low as number five with a loss, or hold steady at number two with a win against New England.

No. 6 is the Pittsburgh Steelers at 6-3 for the season. They have to win a few down the stretch now, and see who can trip up the Bengals. A third playoff match up is very interesting.

It is very very hard to beat a team three times in one season if they are evenly matched.

No. 7 are the Arizona Cardinals who keep showing up week after week. Now at 6-3, the offense is explosive with Warner and his receivers.

No. 8 are the San Diego Chargers who would be oh so much better with a defense.

No. 9 are the Denver Broncos, now the proud parents of a strapping eight pound three game losing streak and San Diego knocking at the door.

No. 10 are the under acheiving Dallas Cowboys who get shut out, by the team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat for their only win.

No. 11 belongs to Atlanta, outside looking in at the big boys playing in the yard. This may be a little rough for you, youngsters. Better wait til next year when you are bigger and stronger.

The once mighty New York Giants are now in the No. 12 position and needs some wins now, No more excuses, Execute and move up. Struggle and miss the playoffs. Get it together G-Men.

Houston is now hovering in that zone of maybe making the playoffs. A record of 5-4 and hope springs eternal. Better get some wins too, Texans or you'll be with the Giants. One game short.

The San Francisco Forty-Niners, or the little train that could, are at No. 14. Mike Singletary must get something up his sleeve to get a win in Green Bay.

The surprising Jacksonville Jags are at 5-4 and are at an astonishing record for this season so far. They can beat Buffalo and actually be at 6-4. Wow! Good job with the three name dudes. You need some more of those. No. 15 is your reward.

Baltimore who still has some hope for the playoffs, after Cincinnati beat the Steelers is currently in number 16. They should win next week, because they suddenly have to, if the playoffs are to follow this season.

The Packers are number 17, and moved up after beating the Cowboys. Next week, can they do it again beating number 14 ranked San Francisco? A big game for both teams motivation for this season.

Philadelphia is falling off the charts with this win one, lose one pattern.8-8 will not cut it, guys. Now at number 18 and going to angry Bears that are wounded at home next.

The Dolphins are at No. 19 and it does not look good for playoffs to be in Miami's future this season.

The Panthers are at 4-5 now and have made a nice recovery from the 0-3 start. No. 20 and number 19 play next week. 5-5 to the winner.

The Bears are at No. 21 and really need a miracle to catch anyone to make the playoffs.

The Jets are not that much better and need a lot of things to happen, jst to go 8-8 this season. Again, this team will not make the playoffs. No. 22 to the Jets.

Tennessee is number 23 now with three wins in a row. Hooray!!!

Seattle is at 3-6 and going no where fast. Number 24 to the Seahawks.

Washington is the best of the bad teams, beating Denver and staying out of everyone in the NFC East's way, 3-6 and No. 25.

Buffalo is also 3-6 and No. 27. Maybe you should put T.O. in your game plan, a little more. The man can catch, dummies.

No 28 is Kansas City who beat the Raiders in Oakland. 2-7 and a brownie point.

No 29 are the inept quarterbacked Raiders. who finally sat Russell, I hope, forever.

No. 30 are the Buc's, who are somehow, improving, week by week.

Number 31 and slipping fast, are the Detroit Lions, who need another win, next week against....... you guessed it, No. 32, and worst team in the league Cleveland Browns.

Oops, I forgot the Rams. I skipped a number after Washington. Ok, Number 31 1/2 to the Rams.

Enjoy your week and watch key power match ups next week as No. 11 Giants host the No. 12 Falcons.

San Diego at No.eight takes on No. nine Denver in Mile High Stadium. Both teams desperately need to win and this game will rock.

Baltimore must find a way to slow down Peyton Manning and the Colts if they want to play in ther post season. The Colts travel to Baltimore in firm control of their own playoff destiny.

Week 11 NFL Winners and Keen Observations By NFL Mikee

The Minnesota Vikings, after most likely beating Detroit at press time, Sunday November 15th are 8-1. They will beat Seattle in Week 11 to get to 9-1.

The NFC race is on and it's New Orleans and Minnesota leading the road to the Super Bowl for that conference.

New Orleans gets a win also, traveling to Tampa Bay and stretching their record to a fantastic 10-0. Tampa Bay may win one more game this season, at best, but not this one.

The Forty-Niners beat the Bears last week to hang in there for the NFC West Title. Week 11 is a huge test, traveling to Green Bay and playing a team coming back from a bad loss.

If Green Bay can get schooled by the Buccaneers, then I have to pick Frank Gore and the Niners to somehow tough out a win. Mike Singletary wants to motivate these guys, and this could be the one to get them over the hump.

This is a very important momentum-building game here for San Francisco, as Green Bay will not make the playoffs anyway.

The Miami Dolphins are at home against Carolina and must stop the run to avoid being swept under the playoff rug. Force some turnovers and win at home with a steady pounding by Ricky and Ronnie. Take the Dolphins at home.

Dallas has a big home game with division-rival Washington and is on a roll to make the playoffs, and maybe return the division crown to Jerry Jones. Will we see them in Pasadena? I think not!

This will be the third time I have picked Detroit to win this season. I am 1-1 so far, but I will take Detroit to beat Cleveland. A bold prediction, I know, but Cleveland does not rock lately.

The Steelers will handle the Chiefs and the noise, or lack there of, in Arrowhead Stadium and win again. They are in the driver's seat in the AFC, assuming, of course, they handled the Bengals while I was writing on a pleasant Sunday afternoon. Oops, just in: Bengals win. Cincinnati is now master of its own domain.

Time will tell if the Steelers may have lost Polamalu once more. The Bengals' Benson also left the game injured in the fourth quarter. That's a tough division, except for Cleveland.

The New York Giants are on, shall we say, a giant skid mark of four straight losses putting them at 5-4, but they have an extra week to get ready for the Falcons and their offense. Atlanta needs to win another big road game to get confidence for a playoff run.

Little brother Atlanta is looking up to heavy-hitting New Orleans and Minnesota. The Falcons will not beat either team on the road, so they better get busy trying to win out for the season.

This is a tough pick, so I will simply weigh the talent of both teams, toss in a free field goal for the home team, and the winner is Atlanta. The Giants will hit rock botom, causing a floodgate of newspaper articles on their demise.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are at home against Buffalo. Jacksonville is hovering around .500, while Buffalo has trouble scoring many points and is horrible on the road.

Buffalo loses this game and slides into oblivion for the 2009/2010 season, while the Jags will not make the playoffs, but will probably finish around 7-9 for the season. Eight-and-eight would be feasible, and 9-7, wishful thinking.

Indianapolis travels to Baltimore for the Ravens last chance to salvage this season. They are 5-4 and really need this game to stay in playoff consideration. All season, I have pushed Houston to make the playoffs ahead of Baltimore.

I think Baltimore can win this at home. Indianapolis is not going to win every single week. This looks like Baltimore's chance to stay in it and get to 6-4. Indianapolis is 8-1 or 9-0 depending on how the ball bounced playing New England.

Arizona plays the Rams in Tempe, and will win. Some things just happen the way they're supposed to.

Denver is in Mile-High and hosts the San Diego Chargers in a big one. This is make-or-break, do-or-die for the Chargers, who must have this one to stay in contention.

I have not drank the Denver Bronco's Kool-Aid, however, and I think San Diego has a big game left in them this season. They have to win this one, so they will.

The Cincinnati Bengals will easily beat the Raiders in Oakland. This is the easiest pick this week. No thought process, instant decision.

New England at home against the Jets was almost as quick a decision as the last one.

The Jets are not quite on the high they were to start the season, as the harsh realities of a rookie quarterback set in and more talent in the rest of the division will be their downfall. Buffalo you can beat, but trouble with New England and Miami killed your season.

Take New England unless you enjoy frustration and pain.

Philadelphia goes into Chicago, against a discouraged, but dangerous Jay Cutler. Not enough guys to catch the ball seems to be most of the problem, but that coupled with defensive injuries spelled doom for Chicago this year.

Philadelphia has a way of winning these games moving into the playoff type mode when they choose. I will take Philadelphia in a close win.

Houston is at home with another key division game with the surging Titans, who might have three wins in a row as I publish this one.

Houston must win this game to be a even considered for the playoffs. That's it. Houston to win this one, or no soup for Schaub this season.

Good luck to all your teams and have a great week,

NFL Week 10 Bankable Point Spread Picks

The Atlanta Falcons will travel to Carolina to take on the Panthers. Atlanta should manage this three points easily and be all they can be in Week 10.

The Forty-Niners host Chicago on Thursday night. With Mike Singletary as the 49er coach, the edge goes to San Francisco here. I see Vegas agrees and the San Francisco team is favored by three. Take the hom team in this one.

Tennessee has won two in a row now, and has Buffalo at home. I like the Titans to cover this one for three in a row. Seven points is your happiness number with bets on Tennessee. That's what I would do.

New Orleans is in Saint Louis this week, and 14 should be a manageable number for Drew Brees and company. The Falcons have been very good with the line this season.

Miami has Tampa Bay at home and must cover 10 points. Tampa Bay is having a resurgence of sorts with Josh Freeman getting them a win over Green Bay last week. I would not go so far to think Tampa could win two in a row, but keeping this close seems like a good chance. I like the Bucs with 10 points.

Minnesota has Detroit and is favored by 16 1/2 points. Wow! I will take Detroit in a division game which do play closer than non division games.

The Jets are at home and this one scares me. Home team, and you get six and half huge points. I like the Jags to cover in this one.

The Steelers are at home against rival Cincinnati and must win by seven. This will actually happen and the Steelers will be the AFC frontrunner to return to the Super Bowl. Take the Steelers and give up the seven points.

Denver will roll into Washington and take no prisoners. Four points is funny. I would give you 7-8. All over Denver in this one.

Kansas City hits Oakland and the ghost of Jan Stenurud appears and helps Kansas City win by a field goal with time running out. I actually see this happening. It called visualization. It does not help the golf ball either.

Dallas will win in Green Bay. Green Bay can not suck so bad last week, then reach down and beat a good team this week. No way Packers win this one. The Pack is sucking eggs.

Arizona has Seattle at home by eight. Seattle is at best, not a great team. Arizona beat the Giants and Chicago on the road. Arizona should own Seattle in this one.

San Diego is at home and it seems like they are hot. Philadelphia keeps us guessing on which team shows up. The Eagles really need Westbrook. He probably won't play. The Eagles have been a big play team, and the Chargers give up big plays.

We will go with the Eagles and their defense to win this game. Philly gets 2 1/2 points.

Indianapolis is at home against New England and is favored by three. I like New England to give the Colts loss No. 1 and move up in the AFC rankings with a small upset here.

The Ravens have a laugher playing Cleveland on Monday Night Football. The announcers will not have much to talk about except haw horrible Cleveland is and how long Mangini will be able to hang around.

Take the Ravens by 20 points. Oh, the spread is 10.5 which seems low. You wonder about these, when Cleveland suddenly turns into world beaters and covers. Can they make this a game? I think not!

If you were betting $1,000 per game with my picks this season you would be up approx 14,000 dollars this season. Good luck on your ideas too.

NFL Mikee's Adventures In Fantasy Football: Week Nine Rocks

Touchdowns are cool in fantasy football and the guy in the picture gets plenty of them. Kurt Warner was a valuable commodity this week scoring four touchdowns against Chicago.

Team number one. NFL Mikee's Molemen got back on the winning track and moving to 5-4 in Week Nine.

Week Ten will have mostly the same starters in Brett Favre, Sidney Rice, Derrick Mason, Bernard Berian, Pierre Thomas, Frank Gore, and Heath Miller. David Akers will keep kicking. I will use the Atlanta defense against Carolina.

Team two, The TWO Wreckers, also won to get to 9-0 for the season.

Starters are Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Vincent Jackson, Hines Ward, Adrian Peterson, Kevin Smith, Heath Miller, Robbie Gould, and the Pittsburgh Defense.

Team three, NFL Mikee's Maulers on Fox, won to get their record to 5-4. I started Drew Brees, but Warner got 40 points and he was on the bench. That could have been a big mistake, but the team won anyhow.

Week 10 will see Drew Brees, T. Hightower, Ryan Grant, Derrick Mason, Wes Welker, Vernon Davis, Brian Westbrook, Nate Kaeding, and the Arizona defense as the starters.

Team four the South Florida Tarpons, won to get to 4-5. This team started off horribly, but has been grinding out wins lately.

Starting in Week 10 will be Kyle Orton, Matt Forte, DeAngelo Williams, Frank Gore, Hines Ward, Steve Breaston, John Carlson. the Forty Niners defense and Dan Carpenter kicking.

Team five, The Fort Myers Mustangs got whipped and fell to 5-3-1 for the season. This team got body slammed by 50 points this week, mainly due to Joe Flacco's ineptitude and The Forty Niners giving up big plays.

Week Ten for this team will start Donovan McNabb, Steve Slaton, Ronnie Brown, Rashard Mendenhall, Randy Moss, Roddy White, Tony Gonzales, the Forty Niner defense, and Nate Kaeding.

Team six, the LaBelle Cowboys won to move their record to 4-5. This team started off 0-4 so they are improving weekly.

Week ten starters will remain basically the same with Kurt Warner, Pierre Thomas, Rashard Mendenhall, Darren Sproles, Larry Fitzgerald, Hines Ward, Heath Miller, the Cardinals defense and Matt Prater kicking.

Team seven, the North Fort Warlocks also won to get a 6-1 week for my teams., and a record of 8-1 for the season.

Roethlisberger will start again along with Frank Gore, Thomas Jones, Wes Welker, Larry Fitzgerald, Hines Ward, Heath Miller, The Niner defense and Nate Kaeding.

Team one:5-4

Team two: 9-0

Team three: 5-4

Team four:4-5

Team five: 5-3-1

Team six:4-5

Team seven: 8-1

Overall for my seven teams I am at 40-22-1.

Enjoy your week, as I will. Good luck to all your fantasy players and your team.

NFL Power Rankings Week 10: The Fog Is Lifting

The New Orleans Saints stayed on top of the power ratings on all planets with a big come back win again beating Carolina 30-20. The Saints are the NFC Super Bowl favorite at this point.

The No. 2 team is the Indianapolis Colts at 7-0. Next week they will be tested by New England at home. There may be a great shift in the force if they lose.

Currently, the next best team is the Cincinnati Bengals at 6-2. I know Denver is 6-1 but they will (most probably) lose to the Steelers on Monday Night Football, and the Bengals have already beaten the Steelers.

We know the Steelers will beat them at home next week, regaining the No. 2 spot and taking their rightful place as the AFC favorite to make the Super Bowl. Pittsburgh is currently at No. 4, until they beat Denver, then Cincinnati, and then retain number two, overall.

Minnesota is at No. 5, due to last week's loss to Pittsburgh. I do not think they will drop much lower than this in the 2009/2010 season.

Denver is holding at No. 6, but another loss on Monday will have the Chargers hot breath on the backs of the Broncos.

New England holds the No. 7 position, but will jump up after knocking off the Colts next week who have injuries on defense making them vulnerable.

The Philadelphia Eagles are playing very well ranking them No. 8. They will need a good showing against Dallas to maintain top ten consideration.

San Diego, with a big win in New York, is No. 9. They are 5-3 and moving on Denver.

The Arizona Cardinals got a big road win against the Bears and round out the top 10 so far this season.

The Atlanta Falcons are down to No. 11, and need to win those big games to have a chance at greatness this season.

No. 12 are the New York Giants, losers of four in a row now.

Dallas is No. 13, but could move up soon, providing they can get past Philadelphia, which I don't think will happen.

Houston holds the No. 14 spot, and still has playoff hopes this season.

Baltimore is sliding fast out of the playoff picture, losing again to the Bengals. They are at No. 15 but may not get much further up the ladder.

Chicago is at No. 16, and is just a little better at this point than perhaps Jacksonville, the Jets, and Green Bay.

Jacksonville is at No. 17 with a 4-4 record, and could move up with a couple of good wins.

The Jets are hanging around at 18 but losing games is not helping their cause.

The Packers are now at No. 19 due to a loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Packers suck.

Miami is at No. 20, but could move up depending on division play. Playoffs this season? Doubtful.

San Francisco has slid down to No. 21. They play the Bears next week, who will want to beat Mike Singletary.

Buffalo is at No. 22; they're not very good.

Tennessee has two wins now and moves up to No. 23. Go Titans, who will undoubtedly ruin someone's season this year.

Seattle is at No. 24 with a big win against—you guessed it—the Lions.

Washington is at No. 25. They suck almost as much as Green Bay.

Carolina is at No. 26, but actually is the best of the sucky teams.

Kansas City shows something once in a while, and at least have a decent quarterback. No. 27 for the Chiefs.

Oakland is just pretty bad and holds down No. 28.

Detroit scores some points and looks okay at times. No. 29 for Motor City.

Tampa Bay has improved and beat Green Bay. Wish you could be higher, but I don 't think so. No. 30 is yours.

The Rams have one win and Stephen Jackson. That gets them out of the worst team in the league category and No. 31. Congratulations to the Rams.

The worst team in football are the Cleveland Browns.

Week 10 NFL Picks: 85-43 For The Season

BUCCANEERS vs. DOLPHINS:

Tampa Bay shocked the Packers 38-28 last week and got Raheem Morris his first win as a head coach in the NFL.

Next week the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the Miami Dolphins at Landshark Stadium In Miami. Take the Dolphins at home this time. Last week was a freak occurrence.

PACKERS vs. COWBOYS:

The dismal-looking Packers have Dallas in Green Bay next week. Dallas win win this game because Green Bay just sucks.

BEARS vs. 49ers

The Bears have Mike Singletary's 49ers to deal with, and the Niners will be ready for this one. I like the Forty-Niner's at home.

SAINTS vs. RAMS:

New Orleans gets a schedule break playing the Rams in Week 10. Anyone taking the Rams?

I didn't think so. Go Saints.

STEELERS vs. BENGALS:

Pittsburgh has revenge on their mind against Cincinnati and the division lead for the win in this one. Take the Steelers at home with Polamalu back on defense.

JETS vs. JAGUARS:

The Jets have the Jags in New York, and the Jets' defense should do the job in this game. Another loss spells no playoffs for the J-E-T-S. I will take the Jets in this one.

VIKINGS vs. LIONS:

Minnesota will win with no trouble after a week of rest and keep control of this division. Detroit slips further and further in loss oblivion again this season.

BRONCOS vs. STEELERS

Denver should have little trouble with Washington even if it snows. After two losses in a row, Denver will refocus. As this was written before Monday Night Football, and Denver/Pittsburgh.

Yes, I predict the Steelers will pummel the Broncos.

FALCONS vs. PANTHERS :

Atlanta has Carolina at home in Georgia, so look for the offense to beat Carolina's defense most of this game. Atlanta wins this one.

BILLS vs. TITANS:

Buffalo travels to Tennessee, who is playing better. Tennessee will win this one at home.

CHIEFS vs. RAIDERS:

Kansas City will have a chance to win a game against Oakland this week. Kansas City must give Cassell time to throw the ball with out feeling pressure. I like the Chiefs in this one.

EAGLES vs CHARGERS:

Philadelphia has San Diego in Week 10, and this game is on the West Coast. Philadelphia has a tough defense and may bottle up Rivers in this one.

Take the better team this week. That's the Eagles.

CARDINALS vs. SEAHAWKS:

Arizona will beat Seattle in the desert. Seahawks are too far from the ocean.

COLTS vs. PATRIOTS:

New England rolls into Indianapolis to give the Colts the first loss of the season. This is very probable. The Colts barely escaped Houston last week, and injuries are a problem.

RAVENS vs. BROWNS:

On Monday Night this is a laugh. Baltimore will beat Cleveland in a horrible Monday Night Football snoozer.

Thanks for caring and sharing. Have a great week.

NFL Mikee's Adventures In Fantasy Football: Week Eight Results

Adrian Peterson is out this week on his bye, resting and waiting to knock off another defense with 150 yards.

Team No. 1, NFL Mikee's Molemen, lost, to drop to 4-4 for the season last week.

In Week Nine, our starters will be Kurt Warner, Andre Johnson, Steve Smith, Derrick Mason, Pierre Thomas, Frank Gore, Heath Miller, David Akers, and the Atlanta defense.

This team started off hot, but has lost three out of the last four weeks.

Team two, the TWO Wreckers, are undefeated at 8-0. The bench was great last week, with key starters on their bye week of rest. Adrian Peterson is out this week, however.

Week Nine starts Tom Brady, Vincent Jackson, Randy Moss, Hines Ward, Kevin Smith, LaDanian Tomlimson, Heath Miller, Robbie Gould, and the Arizona defense.

Team three, NFL Mikee's Maulers also won to increase their record to 4-4. In Week Nine this team will start Drew Brees, Tim Hightower, Steve Smith, Wes Welker, Vernon Davis, Darren Sproles, Nate Kaeding, and the Arizona defense.

Team four, the South Florida Tarpons, who have been terrible, pulled out a win to go 3-5 for the season, so far.

In Week Nine we will start Matt Cassell, Matt Forte, DeAngelo Willaims, Frank Gore, Hines Ward, Steve Breaston, John Carlson, Dan Carpenter, and the Forty-Niner defense.

Team five, the Fort Myers Mustangs are doing pretty good at 5-2-1. but did lose last week 76-77. One Point!

In Week Nine, this strong team will start Joe Flacco, Steve Slaton, Ronnie Brown, Rashard Mendenhall, Randy Moss, Roddy White, Tony Gonzales, Nate Kaeding, and the Niner defense.

Team six, the LaBelle Cowboys also won to increase their record to 3-5. This team started off 0-4, so improvement is happening.

In Week Nine, I will start Matt Schaub. Pierre Thomas, Rashard Mendenhall, Steve Smith, Larry Fitzgerald, Hines Ward, Heath Miller, Matt Prater, and the Cardinals defense.

Team seven, the North Fort Myers Warlocks lost, to fall to 6-1. This week looks good with Ben Roethlisberger, Frank Gore, Darren Sproles, Wes Welker, Larry Fitzgerald, Hines Ward, Heath Miller, Nate Kaeding, and the defense of San Francisco.

Good luck to all your fantasy team players in Week Nine.

NFL Week Nine Point Spread Picks

It's halfway into the season now, and I seem to be on a little better pace after 9-4 last week against the line.

Atlanta is favored by 10 playing at home against the Redskins. This is one of the large point spreads I can deal with. Take Atlanta and give the points.

Arizona is up and down, on the road this week, playing Chicago. I will take the crazy Cardinals with three points to burn.

Baltimore is at home and probably on a mission. Cincinnati will level out a bit more this season. The Bengals are at home but lose this one. The Ravens will win by more than the three.

Indianapolis is at home favored by nine and I love Houston in this game, even as an underdog. Nine points is way to many.

Jacksonville is at home playing Kansas City and this one may be close. With six and a half points, I like the underdog K.C. in this one.

New England is favored by 10.5 and the Dolphins may be better than that. I think the Dolphins will stay in this game and keep the final deficit below 10.

Green Bay will beat Tampa Bay in Florida by 10. This is a solid play.

New Orleans should overwhelm Carolina with offense and win by 17. You do have to give 13.5 points, and Carolina getting a quick lead could keep this closer than it needs to be.

Seattle is at home against Detroit and you have to give ten points with the Seahawks.

Detroit could stay in this game and keep it close, and may have a chance to get a second win. I will choose Detroit to keep this one within ten.

The Giants must end their skid this week against a team with a big offense but no defense. Expect the Giants to run, run, and run the ball some more. That will set up Eli Manning to throw to Steve Smith for some 20-30 yarders. G-Men will get the seven point win.

The 49ers must get this win at home against the Titans who have their own issues to deal with. San Francisco can win this one at home and I will give the five points.

Philadelphia has a good home field advantage and is favored by three over Dallas. Dallas is not very good in big games on the road. They never win these games. Take the Eagles.

Pittsburgh will win on Monday Night Football against Denver in Mile High Stadium. This will be a good game to watch. Denver is the weakest 6-1 team I've ever seen and things will even out starting this week.

My record this season against the line is now a respectable 66-49. I will not have another losing week this season. I should finish this season somewhere near 40-50 games over 500.

Pay attention.

Week Nine NFL Prime Picks

Donovan McNabb and the Eagles stopped the Giants season in its tracks, beating them at home. Next, Dallas comes into Philadelphia. Take the Eagles in their own place.

The Giants next have San Diego in the Meadowlands. Take Mew York at home. San Diego never plays well on these road trips.

Atlanta has Washington at home, in a scrimmage week for Atlanta, as they will win this game easily.

Green Bay will go South and beat Tampa Bay in Tampa with no problem. This is a no brainer kind of pick.

New England shows everyone who the AFC East team to beat is, by crunching the Dolphins into fried tuna in New England.

Jacksonville is at home against Kansas City. Is this win number two for Kansas City? Can Jacksonville ever play well? Aw, heck, I'll take the home team.

Here is the Houston Texan's biggest stage ever. Go into Indianapolis and knock off the division leader and undefeated Colts and show the world you can make the playoffs.

I will take the Texans. Be the man, Matt Schaub.

Baltimore gets the Bengals in Cincinnati after a big game last week against Denver. I like the Ravens to get this one on the road.

Arizona goes into Chicago feeling very good, for this time of the season. The Arizona defense has stepped up, and I am confident Warner can get this one done.

Seattle finally gets another win against Detroit at home. Seattle is once again, toast. They are 3-5 with this win and going nowhere fast.

New Orleans will try to stay undefeated at home against Carolina. Carolina does not have enough weapons to keep up with Brees and company. Take New Orleans.

The Forty-Niners have the dangerous Tennessee Titans in a game that shouts "upset, upset, upset." They are in San Francisco. I will take the Niners.

Pittsburgh rolls into Denver and will win. Denver is a pretender, and this game will expose them for just an ordinary team.

I will be right around 76-39 for the season right after week eight concludes.

NFL Mikee's Adventures In Fantasy Football: Week Seven Action

The Colts defense racked up 25 points—a bonus for some teams with the Indy defenders. I had them a couple of times for some reason.

Team one, NFL Mikee's Molemen made it to 4-3 with a close win. They had a nice balanced point attack and everyone kicked in some contributions.

Week Eight will start Kurt Warner, Andre Johnson (if his chest is alright), Steve Smith, Sidney Rice, Pierre Thomas, Frank Gore, David Akers, and the Eagles defense.

Team two, the TWO Wreckers, improves to 7-0 with another win. This team has won by at least 50 points in most weeks played so far. The Steeler defense had a nice 21 point day.

Week Eight will start Matt Schaub, Bernard Berian, Johhny Knox, Vicent Jackson, Adrian Peterson, Kevin Smith, and Brenk Celek. Robbie Gould kicks and the defense will be Indianapolis.

Five starters will be on the bench this week, so it'll be a big test of the teams depth and bench strength.

Team three, NFL Mikee's Maulers, won, and also improve to 4-3 on the season. Good scores from Drew Brees, the Indy defense, Ryan Grant, and Wes Welker helped win this week.

Week Eight starters will be Drew Brees, Ryan Grant, Thomas Hightower, Steve Smith, Brent Celek, Brian Westbrook, Nate Kaeding—who had 13 points last week—and the Colt defense again.

Wes Walker is on a bye week, so we will go with Derrick Mason.

Team four, the South Florida Tarpons, got crunched 67-110 and fell to 2-5. This team really struggled with Matt Cassell only getting three points, Frank Gore with four, Hines Ward with none, and Matt Forte with

NFL Week Eight Point Spread Mistakes You Should Not Make!

The Bears lost by 35 points last week and now they are favored by 13 1/2 points at home. You might be put off by the fact that they only scored 10 points last week.

Don't be. The last game is scratched from a pro player's memory quickly, and the offense will get busy against the Browns. Matt Forte will get it going in the run department and the Bears will win by about 14.

Vegas gets these very close. Take the Bears over Cleveland by 13 1/2.

Houston goes into Buffalo very motivated now at 4-3. The line should be around 8-10 points favoring the Texans. I love Houston in this game.

Dallas is at home and looks very good all of a sudden. All facets of the game are working for the Cowboys. Nine points should not be a problem.

Detroit has the Rams at home and will win their second game this season. The Rams are horrible. I imagine Detroit will be favored by 5 or more points for the first time in a long time.

Indianapolis has some injuries last week to deal with and San Francisco has a quarterback who wants desperately to prove himself. With 11 points, I like the Niners to make a game of this one, and keep it close.

Miami looked very good in the first half last week against New Orleans, then turnovers shifted the momentum away from the Dolphins and they crashed and burned.

This week they plays the Jets, who may have a false sense of security after an easy time versus the Raiders. Miami will keep this game within reach and I like the upset in New York.

I like the extra 1/2 point in this one. Jets may win by a field goal. The line is 3 1/2.

Philadelphia is at home against angry Giants. But Eagles can fly. I like the home team in a close game. Philadelphia wins a close one. Take the Giants if the line is more than five.

Baltimore is at home after a bye week. This will be a very tough game for Orton and the Broncos and the Ravens are favored by 3 1/2.

Denver finally loses a game this week, I believe. I like the Ravens to overcome the last three weeks bad luck and come out firing.

Tennessee is favored by three against Jacksonville and should win this game, and get in the win category, finally. If not, look for a quarterback change soon.

San Diego is favored by 16 1/2 points against the Raiders who look very, very bad. Do you dare take the points and Oakland? No, no, no, no, no, no.

The Packers are favored over Minnesota by three points and they are in Lambeau Field this time. Brett Favre's homecoming will be good for Brett and bad for the Packers. I'm thinking no way he will lose this game. You get three points too.

After seeing Carolina last week get trashed at home, and Arizona winning in New York, you kind of have to take the Cardinals at home by only eight points. Makes sense to me.

New Orleans has Atlanta at home in a big division game. Atlanta could keep this closer than nine, but after Dallas beat them, I wonder?

New Orleans has an extra day to rest up also. I have to keep taking the Saints against the spread. Never bet against a streak til it's over. The Saints keep covering.

Alright, there you have it.So far this season against the Vegas line, I am at 57-46. The next few weeks , you will see this percentage go up steadily. I am behind last seasons pace of 50 games over 500 against the spread , however.

I look for Philadelphia to cover against Washington tonight by 8-10 points. If Sherman Lewis pulls off an upset, I will be amazed at his play-calling. I think not, as I just checked and my pick from last week is solid, as Philadelphia is ahead 27-7.

NFL Week Eight Power Rankings: True Lies Exposed

The Steelers are still the team to beat in the AFC, as they wiped Minnesota from the unbeaten ranks, and moved back up to No. 2 in the AFC, and No. 3 overall.

Who in their right mind thinks Kyle Orton and the Denver Broncos can beat the Steelers in the playoffs?

I'm not sure if Peyton Manning can pull this off, but the Colts are undefeated, so they sit at No. 2.

New Orleans is still atop the rankings at the No. 1 overall spot in both the NFC and AFC with a big comeback win and a huge second half against the feisty Dolphins.

New Orleans No. 1, Indianapolis No. 2, Pittsburgh No. 3, Denver, on a bye week, at No. 4, and Minnesota slips to No. 5.

The Giants, by virtue of a 5-2 mark, are No. 6, and have the Eagles in Philadelphia next week. The Giants can't lose that one, or they will slip further down. One side note. The Giants lost after preestime of this article and are really down to number 10 or so.

Cincinnati is at No. 7 with a 5-2 record, and a win in Pittsburgh later in the season could bump the Bengals up, although I doubt that will happen, with Troy Polamalu back in the line-up.

New England is at 5-2, also, and holds the No. 8 spot, and is looking to improve on that also.

Philadelphia, with a win against Washington on Monday, will hold the No. 9 spot with a 5-2 record, as well, but must beat the Giants next week at home to move up, or plummet with a loss.

Dallas has moved up to No. 10 with a good win over Atlanta and should be at 5-2 next week after the Cowboys take care of Seattle.

San Diego is at No. 11 after crunching Kansas City and should beat the Raiders at home next week to get to 4-3.

Houston has really moved up and is now in the 12 spot at 4-3 and is looking to make the playoffs for the first time ever. The Texans will beat Buffalo next week and get to a 5-3 record.

Green Bay is at No. 13 and needs a win at home against the Vikings to gain credibility in the NFC. The Packers are at a nice 4-2 record but, as I said, need to beat the Vikings.

Atlanta slips to No. 14 with a bad loss to the Dallas Cowboys and also falls to a 4-2 record. Next they have New Orleans on the road. That's a big problem.

I thought the Falcons would be ready to contend for the NFC Championship this season, but New Orleans, Dallas, New York, and Philadelphia may all be too high hurdles to leap.

The best of the 3-3 teams appears to be Baltimore, but the Ravens have really slipped, dropping multiple games and falling to an average record of 3-3. Baltimore is dropping fast in the rankings and is currently No. 15.

The Arizona Cardinals are above ordinary at 4-2, after beating the Giants, in Week Seven. The Cardinals hold the No. 16 spot.

The Cardinals beat The Giants after this article was written and are moving up next week. Lets hope they can beat Carolina and not disappoint us.

The San Francisco 49ers are sliding down and sit at No. 17, also with a 3-3 record.

The Jets are at No. 18 and need to beat the Dolphins to show they can be a factor this season.

The Bears are at No. 19 and are getting to be very ordinary as well. Injuries have hurt the Bears, especially on defense.

Jacksonville is at No. 20, the worst of the 3-3 teams. Tennessee should wake up and beat these guys next week, or maybe the Jaguars can move up a tad.

Detroit is at No. 21 and has shown a big improvement over last season, being the worst team of the league in 2008.

Seattle has dropped to No. 22 and will slide further if things don't start improving.

Miami is at No. 23 after a very bad collapse against the Saints. The Fins actually had me drinking the Kool-Aid after that first half, but you have to play four quarters, not two.

Buffalo is at No. 24 and can only beat bad teams.

Carolina is at No. 25, because the Panthers constantly lose to bad teams.

Washington is at No. 26 because they just suck.

Tennessee is at No. 27, but, although winless, is probably better than a lot of teams ahead of it in these rankings.

The Raiders are at No. 28 , but will probably not rise much higher this season. When do they just bench that quarterback and do something?

Kansas City is at No. 29 because the Chiefs lost to the Raiders.

Cleveland is at No. 30 and might win one more game this season.

Tampa Bay looks better than the Rams so the Bucs are not in the cellar at No. 31.

Then we have the Rams, the worst team in professional football.

Have a great week , and I hope your team improves, unless your a Saints fan, since New Orleans is numero uno at the moment.

Week Seven NFL Review: Mostly Blowouts But Some Surprises

The Dallas Cowboys took care of business at home against a good Atlanta team, winning to improve to 4-2 and challenging for playoff contention and only being one game out of first in that tough NFC East division. The Cowboys won 37-21.

The Packers had no problem with Cleveland winning 31-3 and getting their record to 4-2 also, with a big game next week at home against Minnesota coming up.

Houston survived three second half touchdowns by Alex Smith and the Forty-Niners to improve their record to 4-3 and remain in wild-card contention. The Texans won 24-21 at home.

Phillip Rivers passed for 268 yards and three touchdowns, going 18 for 30 to crush Kansas City 37-7. The Chargers are now 4-3 and should win next week against the Raiders. Defense is the issue for this team, when playing top rated offenses.

The Pittsburgh Steelers defense saved the day, with two interceptions for touchdowns against Brett Favre and the Vikings. Pittsburgh 27 Minnesota 17.

Indianapolis dominated St. Louis as expected to stay undefeated at 6-0 with a 42-6 victory over the Rams. Next, they are at home against San Francisco and should win that one also.

New England had a jolly old day in merry old England to reach 5-2 and are looking very good in that division. Tampa Bay played Josh Freeman in the last five minutes of the game, and after a bye week, he may get a chance to start. Final score Patriots 35 Tampa Bay 7.

Buffalo shocked Carolina in their own stadium to reach 3-4 and drop the Panthers to 2-4 with no hope in sight, or receivers for that matter, for Jake Delhomme. Buffalo 20 Carolina 9.

The Jets got well against the Raiders 38-0 as I expected. The Jets are at an unspectacular 3-3, and have the Miami Dolphins and that running game to try to answer next week.

In somewhat of a shocker, due to the extremely poor effort of the Bears, who looked terrible, Cincinnati won 45-10 and is now 5-2 going into their bye week.

The Steelers rematch in Pittsburgh should be a great game. The Bears fell to 3-3 and are fast falling behind Green Bay and Minnesota in the Black and Blue division. The NFC North.

The New Orleans Saints survived a bad first half, and stormed back to beat the Dolphins handily, 46-34. That was a great second half by Drew Brees as the Saints improved to 6-0. The Dolphins fall to 2-4. Nice try, Miami.

The Giants can't handle the Cardinals tonight on Sunday Night Football in America and drop to 5-2, while Arizona will be at 3-3 tied with the Forty-Niners for that weak NFC West.

On Monday Night Football Philadelphia will get it together against confusion and a new play caller with the Redskins to get the win.

I am at 68-35 with one more win coming , as I have predicted, for the season so far. Cincinnati, Buffalo, and Dallas I called wrong, but all the others were correct this week.

The Giants lost at home but Philadelphia will take care of business to keep me at 9-4 this week.

Have a great evening and week, and good luck to all your teams and fantasy players.

NFL Mikee's Adventures In Fantasy Football: Week Six Was Pretty Cool

Every week, one player jumps up and crushes one of your teams in fantasy leagues. It seems, this week it was three players instead of one.

Ray Rice got 31 points to hammer a nail in NFL Mikee's Molemen's coffin this week. Other nails were driven in by Randy Moss with 30, the Green Bay defense with 21, and Aaron Rodgers with 20.

The Molemen lost 148.12 to 93.04. This, however, was my only loss out of seven teams this week.

Team No. 1, NFL Mikee'e Molemen will start in Week Seven, Brett Favre, Andre Johnson, Steve Smith, and a new addition after dropping Roy Williams, and Sidney Rice.

The running backs will be Pierre Thomas and Frank Gore. Heath Miller is my dependable tight end, with David Akers kicking and the defense of Philadelphia.

This team, hopefully, will get back on the winning track.

Team No. 2, the TWO Wreckers, living up to their name, remain undefeated at 6-0.

Tom Brady led my scorers after a monster game with 40 points. Randy Moss followed that up with 30. This team won this week 158 to 68.

In Week Seven we will start Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Hines Ward, Vincent Jackson, Adrian Peterson, LaDainian Tomlinson, who was picked up on waivers replacing Correll Buckhalter, and Heath Miller.

Kicking is Robbie Gould and the defense will be the Steelers. This team is money so far this season.

Team No. 3, NFL Mikee's Maulers, got a win to improve to 3-3. Drew Brees led all my players with 39.4 points.

In Week Seven, most of the starters return, except for Derrick Mason, who is on a bye week. Drew Brees carries this team on his shoulders week to week.

Starting will be Drew Brees, Ryan Grant, Steve Smith, a new addition, Wes Walker, Brenk Celek, Brian Westbrook, Nate Kaeding and the Colts defense. Also Tim Hightower will come off the bench this week to replace an unproductive Darren Sproles.

Sproles is on the bench, because one, Tomlinson is getting the work load for San Diego, and two Sproles is averaging onlt 2.2 yards per carry.

Team four, the South Florida Tarpons, also won with their second victory in as many weeks to reach 2-4. DeAngelo Williams had a breakthrough week with 29 points.

Hines Ward had 21, and so did the Packer defense.

In Week Seven this team will start Matt Cassell, Frank Gore, DeAngelo Williams, Cedric Bensen, a waiver pick up if it goes through, Hines Ward, Johnny Knox, Jeremy Shockey, who is replacing John Carlson on a bye week, and I'm taking a chance on this waiver pick.

We have Dan Carpenter kicking this week and have chosen the Packers defense. This team dropped Derrick Ward this week and is trying to pick up Mike Bell as well. Cedric Benson will be a welcome addition to this team.

Team No. 5, the Fort Myers Mustangs won again for five in a row. This team won 111-64.

The Ravens had a rough day on defense with -1, but all other scoring was balanced and good enough to win, easily.

In Week Seven, this team will start Donovan Mcnabb, Steve Slaton, Heath Miller, Brian Westbrook, Rashard Mendenhall, Randy Moss, Roddy White, the Bears defense, and Ntae Kaeding kicking.

Team No. 6, the Labelle Cowboys kept the win streak going, and got their own streak of two in a row. Matt Schaub was the leader of this team with 29 points. Hines Ward had 21, along with the Packer defense.

This team will start exactly the same players as last week. Week Seven players will be Matt Schaub, Pierre Thomas, Rashard Mendenhall, Steve Smith, Larry Fitzgerald, Hines Ward, Heath Miller, the Packers defense and Ryan Longwell.

This team seems to have gotten better after an 0-4 start.

Team No. 7 remains undefeated also at 6-0. Thomas Jones led the scorers with 28 points. Wes Walker had 27, Ben Roethlisberger had 23. and Hines Ward had 21. This team romped to another win 146 to 76.

Week Seven starters will be Ben Roethlisberger, Thomas Jones, Frank Gore, Larry Fitzgerald, Wes Welker, Hines Ward, Heath Miller, the Jets defense, and Nate Kaeding.

This seems like a pretty good team also.

My team records took a nice jump this week with 6-1 overall.

Team No. 1: 3-3

Team No. 2: 6-0

Team No. 3: 3-3

Team No. 4: 2-4

Team No. 5: 5-0-1

Team No. 6: 2-4

Team No. 7: 6-0

Overall all record for fantasy 2009/2010 is 27-14-1.

All this stuff is time consuming, but fun. I will get into two money fantasy leagues next season, and try to get those two 6-0 line-ups hopefully. lol.

Have a good week and good luck to all your fantasy football players in Week Seven action.

Thomas [NFL Mikee] Moreland.

NFL Week 7 Point-Spread Winners: Beware of Trap Games

NFL Week 7 has some trap games you will not want to fall into. Be wary of weak teams that may have won last week. This trend will certainly not carry into Sunday.

One of these games is the Jets at the Raiders on Sunday. The Raiders will have high hopes to win two in a row. This will not happen. Take the Jets with Mark Sanchez playing in California and give the 6.5 points.

The Packers are at Cleveland and the Browns have the flu bug going around, with 12 sick players. Green Bay should cover 7.5 easy.

San Diego goes into Kansas City and is favored by 4.5 points. Take the Chargers in another trap game, with people thinking Kansas City has something going. They only scored 14 against Washington. No two-in-a-row for the lowly Chiefs.

Houston is at home against San Francisco and is favored by 3.5 points. That is solid for the home team in this one. Houston is gathering momentum for a playoff run.

Indianapolis is on the road against the Rams. They will shut down the passing game. Steven Jackson can't beat them alone. Take the Colts and give the 13.5 points.

Pittsburgh is at home versus Minnesota. A four-point margin is very attainable for the Steelers. Minnesota will lose this one and fall to 6-1.

New England will show off skills to England this week against Tampa Bay. New England should score 30 to 40 points and cover the 14 easily.

Carolina at home will build some confidence against a very weak Buffalo team. The line is 7.5. You want the Panthers in this one.

Cincinnati is at home against the Bears. I like the wee upset with the Bengals favored by only 1.5. The Bears should hold this offense down a bit more than Atlanta last week. Take Chicago.

Dallas is favored by 3.5 at home against a better Atlanta Falcons team. This could very well be the Falcon year to make some noise and reach the NFC Championship. I especially like the Falcons in this one.

New Orleans marches into Miami with much confidence and swagger. Nothing will change when they leave. New Orleans wins by a touchdown or more and goes to 7-0.

The Giants have Arizona at home. The Cardinals do not travel east very often and come out with a win. Philadelphia demolished them last season. Take the Giants by a touchdown or more.

The Eagles will go into Washington and come out with a win by many points. Bank on this one.

I am 49-41 this season against the spread and expect this to be a very good week.

Updated NFL Power Ratings: Weakness Exposed In Certain Teams

Drew Brees lit up the New York Giants for 49 points while the defense kept Eli Manning in check for a big win.

The undisputed heavyweight champions in the NFL are the New Orleans Saints.

In the number two spot in the power ratings are...the Minnesota Vikings. Brett Farve brought his team back again to grab the game from a Baltimore Ravens team who surged late, but fell short.

Minnesota's defense has some glaring weaknesses to address in the secondary. But the Vikings have six wins rather than five, to lock up the number two spot for the time being.

Indianapolis is at the number three spot at 5-0, and may move up next week with a strong performance against the Rams, while Minnesota must play Pittsburgh on the Steelers home field.

Beat the Steeler's and keep your spot, it's as simple as that.

Denver has the number four spot, being undefeated at the moment. But they could fall down quickly if they lose to San Diego or any other weak team in the future. Keep winning and all is well.

The Steelers have the number five spot with Troy Polamalu back from injury and the offense looking very good. Rashard Mendenhall has added a spark to the run game and the Steeler defense is still very solid.

If they lose at home to the Vikings, they will also slip down the ratings pole.

New England looks like they are coming on strong with that last game, and obviously Tom Brady is fully recovered from his knee injury. They have the number six spot locked up, and have a win coming next week in Tampa Bay.

Atlanta is a contender to win the NFC Championship, along with Minnesota, and of course New Orleans. This offense is seriously talented and the defense is adequate.

This team is 4-1 and looks very good. Atlanta is currently at number seven.

The Giants are a good team but I think the teams currently above them are just as good, if not better. The Giants must step up in big games to prove they deserve to be among the top five teams in the NFL. They're number eight for the time being.

Number nine is currently the Cincinnati Bengals with a 4-2 record. This team could also slip down a few notches with a loss, but for the time being 4-2 has got them here.

Number 10, by virtue of a good road win in Seattle, are the Arizona Cardinals. They must go into New York next week and get another win on the road to stay in the top 10.

The Green Bay Packers are looking better and better as the season moves along, and are at 3-2. They beat Chicago to open the season, and must keep winning to be competitive with Minnesota in that division. Right now, they stand at number 11.

The Ravens are sliding down quickly, and must get a couple wins in a row to move back up. They occupy the number 12 spot.

Chicago is at number 13, and also must win some more games. Matt Forte is not doing it this season, and Chicago is missing personnel that is hurting their chances for a postseason appearance.

Philadelphia slipped all the way down to number 14 with a loss to Oakland this week. Lose to a weak team, and that is what happens.

San Diego is at number 15, mainly because of no defense. Beat Denver and show the league something. Otherwise, no playoffs for you.

Houston is at number 16 at 3-3 for the season so far. They must put some wins together to move up and possibly be in contention for the first playoff appearance in their young history.

San Francisco is at number 17 and also must put some more wins on the board to be considered for the playoffs and respect in the league. Atlanta exposed some serious problems for the 49ers last week.

The Dallas Cowboys are at number 18. Pretty sad, huh?. But that's about it for this team if nothing changes in a number of categories for Dallas. Defense, coaching, special teams, offense, quarterback, etc. etc. etc.

The Jets are at number 19 after three losses in a row and a horrible game against Buffalo. Sanchez has a lot to learn about defenses in the NFL.

Rounding out the top 20 teams are the Miami Dolphins, who did beat the Jets, but still have a bit of work to do to move up a few notches. Perhaps I am anticipating next week's matchup against the Saints.

If they have a good game they can move up a couple of spots.

In the 21st spot are the Carolina Panthers who are pulling the season out somehow, with two wins in a row now. They can beat Buffalo this week, and pull to 3-3, which is likely.

In the 22nd spot are the Jacksonville Jaguars who have a chance to play to a winning record this season, maybe. Playoffs? I think not.

In the 23rd spot are the 0-6 Titans, who will beat some teams this season even after a horrendous start. This team is simply better than their record suggests.

Seattle is at number 24 , and is not looking very good this season. I can't expect them to move up much further this season with the talent they have to work with.

Number 25 is the Washington Redskins, who will hire a new coach at the end of this season. The Jim Zorn experiment will be over.

Number 26 is the Buffalo Bills who are not very good, and maybe will replace their coach as well next season.

Number 27 is the Kansas City Chiefs who have a decent quarterback and a couple of wide receivers. That's about it.

Number 28 is the Raiders who have a whopping two wins now. This team could get better, but I don't know how with the quarterback they have now.

Number 29 is the Cleveland Browns, but these last few teams in the rankings are not separated by much.

Number 30 is the Detroit Lions who are not the worst team in football anymore.

Number 31 is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with no direction, not much talent, and little hope for the next few years to come.

Last, and certainly least, at far as team talent, motivation, coaching, the draft, and anything else you can think of, are the hapless St. Louis Rams.

There you have it, your up to date NFL power rankings for 2009.

These can change from week to week as you saw with the Jets losing to Buffalo, Philadelphia dropping down from a defeat by the lowly Raiders—which still has me scratching my head—and Kansas City going into Washington and beating the Redskins.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

Enjoy the game Monday night, and why is San Diego favored?

Week Seven NFL Picks: Another Easy Week Coming Up

Last week seemed easy to pick the games, and except for a couple of upsets, I was right on with my picks. Oakland shocked everyone beating Philadelphia 13-9 and Sanchez threw six interceptions as the Jets lost to Buffalo. But otherwise, my picks were pretty spot on.

Week Seven will see me, once again, right on with most of these picks.

Green Bay is at home against Cleveland. Have I said enough yet? Green Bay wins at home and gets their record to 4-2. Cleveland slides into obscurity at 1-6.

New England will continue to win, and improve to 5-2 with a victory over Tampa Bay in London this weekend. Tampa Bay will remain winless at 0-7.

Indianapolis will reach 6-0 and also remain undefeated as they have the Rams in St. Louis. The Rams will also reach 0-7.

Here is your game of the week, as the undefeated Minnesota Vikings take on the Steelers in Pittsburgh. The Steelers defense should rise to the challenge and give the Vikings their first loss.

The Steelers offense should be potent enough to keep Brett Favre off the field, as ball control drives will be important in this game. Contain Peterson and the Steelers will win this game with pass defense and Polamalu.

San Diego should not lose to Kansas City and the Bolts will keep the pressure on Denver for that division.

Houston is at home and is ready to have a break-out season, I believe. Matt Schuab has been pretty hot, and Slaton will run well. Take Houston in what may be a close one.

Carolina seems to have righted the ship and will handle Buffalo at home. Deangelo Williams is running better and is once more a good threat on the ground.

Oakland will not pull off another upset, and the Jets will get a win in Oakland. The Jets have to try to stay in range of New England on paper, as they will be one game behind the Pats at 4-3. New England should be at 5-2 after playing Tampa Bay.

The Cincinnati Bengals will continue to come down to earth against Chicago in Week Seven.

New Orleans travels to Miami and I'm afraid Drew Brees and this offense will be too much for Miami this week. This defense for New Orleans is pretty good too and should be able to handle the Wildcat and its little quirks.

Atlanta will come into Jerry Jones's new house in Dallas, and should come out with a win. Atlanta is just a better team this season, and this game will prove that.

The Giants will take out some frustration on Arizona this week. Arizona has a history of horrible trips to this division's home fields, and the Giants will handle Arizona easily.

Philadelphia will also take a bit of frustration out on this really bad Redskins team this week in Washington. The Eagles were beat by the Raiders last week. They must be pretty angry.

I have Atlanta to win at home tonight, which I firmly believe will happen. If San Diego can hand the Broncos their first loss, I will be at a nice 11-3 for Week Six.

For the season I am now 59-31 straight up with no points.

See my point spread picks on Tuesdays or Wednesdays which also appear on Bleacher Report. I'm 50-40 against the line this season.

Have a great week and pick well.

NFL Mikee's Adventures In Fantasy Football: Week Five Results

The guy in this picture killed my Molemen this weekend, scorong 37 fantasy points. Miles Austin, 37 points? What the hell! It was looking to be a pretty good week before he turned it into just average at 4-3 for my teams overall.

NFL Mikee's Molemen fell to 3-2. In Week Six, my starters will be all the same , except I will sit Knowshon Moreno in favor of Pierre Thomas.

The other starters will be Kurt Warner, Andre Johnson,Steve Smith,Santana Moss,Pierre Thomas,Rashard Mendenhall, and Heath Miller. David Akers is the kicker, and Philadekphia will handle the defense.

Last week was unfortunate, as besides Miles Austin against my team with 37 points, my opponent also had Matt Cassell with 30 and Roddy White with 33. Still, I only lost by 12 points.

Team two, The TWO Wreckers moved to 5-0. This team is the bomb, it seems. Matt Schaub started, but did not do quite as well as Brady, who was on the bench. Both quarterbacks lost their games, which accounted for a not very good point total.

In Week Six,the starters will be Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Hines Ward, Stephen Jackson,Adrian Peterson, Kevin Smith, Heath Miller,Robbie Gould and the Steeler Defense.

Last week we had Berrian,Schaub, and Celek in the line-up and won by more than 50 points.

Team three,NFL Mikee's Maulers took a loss to move to 2-3 this season. Kurt Warner led my scorers with 24.1 points. T. Choice had 15.2 and Hightower kicked in10.7. Steve Smith of the Giants had a slow week with 7 points.

Kenny Britt had only 1.8 and Joe Nedney had only four. The Forty-Niner defense scored a big fat zero.

Week Six will start Drew Brees, Steve Smith, Derek Mason, Brian Westbrook, Ryan Grant, and T. Hightower. Brent Celek will be the tight end. Nate Kaeding will be the kicker, and we have the Jags defense playing the Rams.

This team lost 72.2 to 74.2 last week. Wow!

Team four, the South Florida Tarpons continued to struggle and fell to 1-4. The starters in Week Six will be Matt Cassell, Hines Ward,Matt Forte, DeAngelo Williams,, Steve Breaston, Johnny Knox,John Carlson, Matt Prater, and the Packers defense.

I keep trying to improve this team week by week, which has been a challenge. The previous line-up lost 50-103 so I've made some changes. We shall see if that helps.

Team five, the Fort Myers Mustangs won, to improve their record to 4-0-1. Rashard Mendenhall had 14 points. The Ravens defense also had 14. Joe Flacco had seven, and Steve Slaton managed eight points.

Boldin and Tony Gonzales scored a few and Ronnie Brown made a nice contribution on Monday Night Football.

Week Six brings a solid line-up featuring Donovan McNabb. Steve Slaton, Brian Westbrook, Rashard Mendenhall, Randy Moss, Roddy White, Tony Gonzales, the Ravens defense, and Matt Prater.

Team six , the LaBelle Cowboys finally got a win in Week Five. 1-4 now. This team finally has some improvement, and reward to show for it with a win.

Week Six will start Matt Schaub, Pierre Thomas,Rashard Mendenhall,Steve Smith, Larry Fitzgerald, Hines Ward, Heath Miller, Ryan Longwell, and the Packer's defense. This team finally had some nice balanced scoring.

I weighed starting Warner or Schaub, and decided on Schaub, because Warner must pass less to be successful and less predictable next week against the Seahawks.

Team seven , the North Fort Myers Warlocks ran their record to 5-0 with another win.

Really good balanced scoring was the key to victory again in Week Five.

Week six will start Ben Rothlisberger,Thomas Jones, Darren Sproles, Larry Fitzgerald,Hines Ward, Percy Harvin and Brenk Celek. We will use the Jets defense and Nate Kaeding as the kicker.

4-3 this week.

Team one: 3-2

Team two: 5-0

Team three: 2-3

Team four: 1-4

Team five:4-0-1

Team six:1-4

Team seven: 5-0

Over all record for fantasy 2009, 21-14-1

On to Week Six.
