What Has Become of Monday Nights?

RAW tonight was bullshit! MVP and Mark were supposed to win those titles. They had the fuckin' match won.

But you know what's gonna be fucked up? When Rey and Batista win the tag titles, because you know that's what's gonna happen. Bastards were just handed a title shot. Complete and utter bullshit!

I tried being nice but I'm just gonna say it...THE DIVAS DIVISION IS A FUCKING JOKE! In a radio interview, Awesome Kong said she doesn't consider the divas wrestlers and I agree with her.

Ever since Trish and Lita left, the divas division has sucked ass! The only thing they're good for is looking pretty and being Batista's booty calls.

The whole Chavo/Hornswoggle thing is stale as hell. It's quite sad that a wrestler of Chavo's caliber has been reduced to wrestling a midget simply for the entertainment of the little nose pickers in the crowd.

Has WWE forgotten they have an adult audience? I mean for Christ sake the damn wrestlers don't even bleed anymore and I'm not talking about a little trickle of blood. I'm talkin Stone Cold WrestleMania 13 kind of blood!

I'm sure that these little brats can handle a little blood. I can understand them being careful because of HIV and shit, but come on!

And the whole celebrity guest host thing was the dumbest idea ever! They have these celebs come on to host and they can't even get the name of the pay-per-view right.

Like when Jeremy Piven called SummerSlam "Summerfest". Or like last week when Cedric the Entertainer said Thorton instead of Orton.

I hate how Cena won those first two matches by DQ, then SuperCena appeared in the third match after taking all that punishment from Show and Jericho. Then the asshole climbed the cell and gave Orton the Attitude Adjustment....now tell me that isn't bullshit.

What other wrestler do you know that can come back from that kind of punishment (excluding Hogan)? Only satisfying thing about tonight was hearing the fans boo Al Sharpton.

There was a time when I use to get excited that RAW was coming on, but not anymore. The feeling isn't there anymore. I've made up my mind that after 2009 ends, I'm done with WWE Magazine.

I refuse to settle for the mediocre matches they've been dishing out (e.g. Taker/Punk). Looks like if I want to see real great wrestling, I need to watch ROH. I need to watch Puroresu. I need to watch Lucha Libre.

You Hear That Flushing Sound? Thats RAW Going Down The Toilet!

I haven't ranted in a while and after last night I had to say something: RAW is really starting to look bad with these guest hosts.

The only hosts I think did a good job were Shaq and Seth Green. But Jeremy Pivens...don't get me started on him. That episode of RAW was the worst RAW I had ever seen, I watched that episode in disgust. Hell, the people in the audience should have gotten a refund for that debacle.

The only good ting that came out of Freddie Prinze Jr. hosting last night was the backbreaker Orton gave him...which i enjoyed.

I'll admit I'm not a big fan of watching women wrestling (unless they're really good) and last night made me an even lesser fan. That Divas Championship match between Mickie James and Gail Kim sucked big time donkey balls! I couldn't believe all the botches and missed spots in that match. They just didn't click at all. Two of the most talented divas on RAW and their match just bombed.

And what makes this match even worst is that the finish was Mickie giving Gail a forearm smash to retain. That match stunk more then the lockerroom at my old high school. The only good thing about that match was when it was over!!!

I was pissed with the length of the MVP/Jack Swagger match. Their time gets cut short for an idiotic, stupid and pointless falls count anywhere match between Chavo and Hornswoggle?—Although after RAW went I understood why their time got cut short, since they'll be facing each other at SummerSlam.

The DX reunion last night...I couldn't care less. Why do I care that DX is back? The last time I cared that they reunited was on June 12, 2006, when they actually reunited for the first time! But I do think it's great how Legacy just beat up on HBK and The Game.

I expect DX to beat Legacy at SummerSlam though...of course.

I could have done without the predictable main event.

Cena pins Jericho after the "Attitude Adjustment"—Wow! That was a big surprise, like I so seriously did not see that happening. Well at least Orton gave Cena an RKO, that always makes me happy.

Am I the only one who misses Vickie Guererro as GM? Excuse me!

Abraham Washington = FAIL!

The superstar initiative recently returned in ECW and with it's return came fresh talent such as Tyler Reks, Sheamus, Yoshi Tatsu, and Abraham Washington. All of them looking to make an impact in ECW.

I've seen Reks wrestle and he's not bad, he had two good matches against Zack Ryder on WWE Superstars.

I can't say too much about Sheamus, except that a tan would work wonders for him. I'm a fan of Japanese wrestling, so it was good to see Yoshi Tatsu, who had a good match against Shelton, so I look forward to seeing more from him.

Abraham Washington. Abraham Washington. I honestly don't know what to say about him. Somehow I sat through his debut "show" with the Bella twins and it was bad. After watching the mess he proclaims to be the best show on late night. I went to YouTube to see if he could wrestle.

I figured that hopefully he's better in the ring than he is on the mic. Only one damn Abraham Washington match and it was barely even a match. Most of the videos were of him cutting promos in the ring with his "security agents."

I take it that WWE doesn't plan on keeping him around for long being that he hasn't even been added to the ECW roster page.

The Abraham Washington with the Bella Twins equals fail. The second week of the Abraham Washington show with Tommy Dreamer equals MAJOR FAIL! And this coming Tuesday it will equal fail...again!

So I end this article with a question: What is Abraham Washington's purpose in ECW?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSnA8A2VtY8

I've Done the Unimaginable...I've Rallied Up!

You've read right, Jabot has rallied up with Ricky Ortiz. Now, I know a couple months back I wrote an article on Tommy Dreamer and Ricky Ortiz, and in it I let loose on Fatty Dreamer and Ricky Ortiz. And I mean I really let Ortiz have it.

That was back in February, so let's fast forward to the now. As of right now, I'm a Ricky Ortiz fan. He was drafted to the blue brand via the WWE supplemental draft. He made his SmackDown! debut in May against Jeff Hardy...and lost.

Ortiz started to do these rally up videos on WWE.com after SmackDown! went off and they caught my attention.

It wasn't until he started teaming with Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas that I started to notice how it looked like he had improved. I said to myself, "Self" and myself said, "Hmm?" and I said, "Ricky Ortiz isn't half bad; maybe he can do something in the ring."

Last week on WWE Superstars he really impressed the hell out of me in his match against R-Truth. Hell, that should have been the main event! I can now say that I am a Ricky Ortiz fan.

Seems like he'd be a good power wrestler, very agile. He doesn't mind flying every so often. To be honest, he actually reminds me of Billy Jack Haynes, which is a great compliment.

All he needs now is a valet (Layla) and he'll be set to go. Ortiz, you made me eat my words; you proved me wrong and turned me into a fan of yours...don't mess it up.

My Top 15 Small Wrestlers

I've always been a fan of small wrestlers, especially because I'm only 5'6" myself. Wrestlers like Rey Mysterio have proven that you don't have to be the tallest person to be successful in pro wrestling. And wrestlers like Jay Lethal have proven that you don't have to be the most muscular guy in the lockerroom to get over.

I enjoyed growing up watching wrestlers like Owen Hart, Chris Benoit, and Dean Malenko tear up the squared circle. Now I get to watch future legends such as Low Ki, AJ Styles, and Jay Lethaltake to the air.

So I've put together a list of 15 of my favorite small wrestlers and believe me it was a hard choice deciding who would make the list, but in the end I think I did pretty well.

Note: Following list ony consist of wrestlers who range from 5'6" to 5'11".
Begin Slideshow

She's Extreme...Extremely Untalented!

That's right Jabot "The Ranter" has returned! Now let's get down to brass tacks...

When Theodore Long announced that he was once again going to be the GM of SmackDown, he named Tiffany as the interim GM of ECW. Why is Tiffany GM? I do not know! But to quote South Park's Stan Marsh, "Dude, thats f**ked up!"

Watching Tiffany on ECW as General Manager makes me want to crawl on my knees from right here in Richmond, Va., all the way to Stamford, Conn., and beg Vince McMahon to make Mike Adamle ECW GM again because she is just that bad.

Oh my God! And her mic skills are just garbage. They are just 100 percent horrible! I'd rather listen to Jillian perform at an outdoor concert. I listen to Tiffany on the mic and I don't know if it's a tranny or a woman talking. I mean, you tell me, because her voice gets deeper than mine!

And it's just so sad that she's so blond and dumb to realize that her ring skills are so bad that she has to be a GM like Vickie and Teddy (great GM's). If there was a triple threat match between the GM's, Tiffany would make Vickie look like Eddie Guerrero and Teddy would look like Dean Malenko, while she's in the ring looking like Gillberg.

Guys and gals, please give me your imput. What do you think about "Terrible" Tiffany?

While I'm on the subject of GM's. Why do we have General Managers? So they can make matches? Did they have GMs during the 80s? No! So why do we need them now? These men and women know how to use a mic (except for Tiffany), so I'm pretty sure they know how to challenge someone to a match.

These little kids today are going to grow up con-wrestle-fused(giving wrong wrestling facts/not knowing their correct wrestling history) and are going to be some of the dumbest wrestling fans on God's green earth (mostly Cena fans) and are going to tell their kids wrong information.

Thats why it's up to us smart wrestling fans (non Cena or Hogan fans) to save these poor little kiddies because one day someone is going to have to continue the legacy of the B/R wrestling community.

But yeah, I'd have more fun eating a $2 steak with brass tacks than watching and listening to Tiffany.

Paying Your Dues on the Crimson Canvas

Dusty Rhodes, Terry Funk, Mick Foley, and, of course, Ric Flair: they are known as legends and great ring generals. But they are also known as the greatest juicers (bleeders) in professional wrestling.

I don't know what it is, but to see these men bleed in the ring adds so much more to the match.

How can anyone forget about the classic Flair/Race steel cage match from the first Starrcade held in November 1983 or the classic WrestleMania XIII submission match between Bret "The Hitman" Hart and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, where Austin donned the crimson mask and passed out?

These are just two of the many blood battles in pro wrestling.

If there is anyone who knows about a blade job it would have to be The Great Muta when he performed the most brutal blade job ever in his match against Hiroshi Hase in 1992. The effects of his blade job got him his own scale in pro wrestling: the Muta scale.

The Muta Scale

A scale to measure the amount of blood loss by a wrestler in a match. The scale goes from 0.0 (no blood loss) to 1.0 (corresponds to the amount of blood lost by The Great Muta during a 1992 match against Hiroshi Hase, during which Muta performed what is widely hailed as the most gruesome blade job of all time).

Right now, it's very rare to see the WWE allow any blade jobs and now that they've gone "kid friendly" (although, they allow Randy to RKO Stephanie) we probably won't see any blood for awhile, unless someone gets busted open the hard way.

Anyone who was watching WrestleMania XXV, I take it you saw when Jeff Hardy sent Matt into the steel steps. Matt must have been busted open in the back or the top of his head because someone came with a towel during the match to stop the blood.

Yes, you read that correctly "during the match."

And if you plan on ordering anything off WWE 24/7 on demand, get ready to see a wrestler magically turn to black and white. From what I read on 24wrestling.com, whenever someone bleeds the picture turns to black and white. Sucks, right?

That's the one thing I like about TNA, I can still enjoy a little bit of blood every once in a while and tonight on Lockdown (where every match is contested inside a steel cage) I think I'm going to have my fair share of seeing faces grated across the steel cage.

While I do enjoy seeing a blood stained canvas ever so often, I'm understanding that wrestling promotions today aren't really doing blade jobs like they use to do back in the 70's and 80's, due to HIV and AIDS.

Although I highly doubt anyone with HIV or AIDS would set foot inside the squared circle and put someone elses life in jeopardy.

For every match there is a price to pay, these men give their all in the ring. They give their sweat, their tears, and yes, even their blood.

Check out the match that made the Muta Scale...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2yxfSRz-cw

Get Hype! The Pat Barry Interview

I recently had the pleasure to interview the talented and funny Pat "Get Hype" Barry. For those of you who aren't familiar with Pat, he got his start in Kickboxing and is now fighting in the UFC.

I actually found out about Pat when I saw one of his fights on youtube.com and I think the MMA/Kickboxing world has something to look forward to. His kickboxing record is 18-6-9(KO)-1. His MMA record is 4-0, all by knockout.

JS: You've mentioned that Jean-Claudde Van Damme movies got you interesting in kickboxing/MMA. Were there any other martial artists or martial arts movies that had an influence on getting you into kickboxing/MMA?

PB: Ninja Turtles was a big factor also; always wanted to be a Ninja. But, Mike Tyson was the catalyse for almost everything. Man, first time I saw what he could do I was hooked!

JS: You were trained by four-time K-1 World Champion, Ernesto Hoost. What was it like training under him and does he live up to his name "Mr. Perfect"?

PB: Training with him was a dream come true. He is one of my idols along with the fact that he's the greatest kickboxer to ever live. And yes, the nickname fits him perfectly. I learned a lot from him!

JS: Now you actually moved over to Amsterdam to train with Hoost. What was it like living over there?

PB: Personally, I'm a home body. I don't like being away from my family and friends, so for me I didn't care for being there. But for what I was there for, it was great.

JS: While we're talking about nicknames, how did you get the nickname "Get Hype"?

PB: My brother and cousin and I were on a road trip across the country. While in the car we came across the concept of all or nothing. come back with your shield or on it. While drinking an energy drink for the first time, someone said the word hype and there it was. HYPE or DIE was born!

JS: Back in December 2008, you made your UFC debut. Were there any butterflies in your stomach going into your debut?

PB: Yes sir! More than ever. But thats a good thing, it's normal. We as fighters need those pre-fight jitters.

JS: You defeated Dan Evensen in your debut after a brutal right low kick to his leg in the first round. Do you think you made a statement in that match?

PB: OOOHYAHHH! Watch out for the right and if you're ready for the right, I'll hit you with the other one. And if you're ready ready for the other one I'll hit you with THE OTHER ONE, cause nobody's ready for that one.

JS: Evenson injured his knee in that match. Have you heard from him since or is he holding a grudge?

PB: After the fight he was gone. I never saw him again and haven't heard from him either.

JS: How has the transition from kickboxing to MMA been for you and are there any differences or similarities between the two?

PB: Totally different sport, man. For MMA, I actually had to alter my striking ability in order to be able to perform. Similar cause it's a fight, but it's a totally different pace with different weapons and different angles and strategies.

JS: Is there anyone in the UFC that Get Hype would want to have a dream match against?

PB: Not a wrestler!!

JS: With all the traveling you've done to compete in your matches. Are there any funny moments you'd like to share?

PB: A few times in China I was told that I was going to spar with a guy. This dude got in the ring and had on eight ounce gloves, no shin pads, and no head gear.

I was standing there with big shin pads on and big eighteen ounce gloves and we couldn't start sparring till the audience came in. But they swore to me that it wasn't a fight, even though the guy was shirtless, sweaty, and growling at me. But it wasn't a fight, riiiiiiiiight!

JS: How do you prepare for any upcoming fights?

PB: A lot of fight specific scenarios. Putting myself in bad positions and working my way out. Lots of conditioning cause i'm a firm believer that whoever can last the longest has a better chance of winning.

JS: You're 5'11" and 230 pounds. Do you ever worry about making weight?

PB: Nope! No weight class for the heavies!

JS: This year you turn the big 3-0, coincidentally the day after my birthday. Any celebration plans and how long do you think you'll keep going in kickboxing/MMA?

PB: Most likely going to practice. I'm gonna swing for the fences till I'm 35!

JS: Do you have any upcoming matches in the octagon or anywhere else?

PB: May 23. UFC 98. MGM Grand. Vegas!

JS: Well, that pretty much wraps things up. Any last words for your fans or to your haters (if any) out there?

PB: SO HYPE CAN'T DIE!

The "Draftermath" of the WWE Draft

Talk about a mind-boggling draft.

Last night was great in my opinion.

I think things are definitely about to get shaken up in the WWE.

RAW gets two of the biggest draft picks of the night, four titles are transferred to different shows, and a highflyer returns to his old stomping grounds.

Here's my take on the WWE draft picks:

RAW

MVP

I called this draft pick, and it feels good to know that the first draft pick I called was Mr. 305—but to be honest I've been calling it since 2007. Primetime finally makes it to the flagship show—and oddly enough, he was wearing his red and black singlet last night.

The longest-reigning United States Champion in WWE history didn't come alone to RAW because the two-time United Champion has brought the U.S. Title as well. I'm sure he's going to has a slew of challengers waiting for him—perhaps starting with The Miz?

Triple H

It feels good to know that the King of Kings has returned to his kingdom, he'll also be able to get his hands on The Viper Randy Orton. MVP and Triple H were just two of my four predictions that happened to fall through.

There are a lot of hungry wrestlers that are going to be gunning for Triple H's WWE Championship and I'm sure The Game welcomes all challengers, but for right now Orton is the only one on The Cerebral Assassin radar.

Big Show

To quote John Morrison and The Miz, "Really?!". I think Show should have stayed on SmackDown—where he belongs.

I guess they're going to play this Vickie Guerrero/BigShow storyline out, huh? Yeah, that's something I was really looking forward to...

Matt Hardy

Now this is a draft pick I can agree with. Although everyone may want to see Matt and Jeff tear each other to shreds a little longer, I think it's time for Matthew Moore Hardy to become a top contender for the WWE Championship.

I think he's proven that he can be a World Champion when he held the ECW Championship (I'm still biased on its World Title Status).

The Miz

The Miz is on RAW? Throughout the night I was predicting Morrison to go to SmackDown, but this was a surprise. I sure as hell wasn't expecting Miz to give Morrison a Reality Check either. If worked the right way, this could be a good feud.

Maryse

MVP, Miz, Matt, and now Maryse. What's with all these m's? It's times like this I wish the Michelle McCool was Divas Champion again.

Well, let's get ready for the untalented skills of Maryse. Three moves and a hair flip? Yeah, Maryse really deserves to be on RAW. I'd rather see Ricky Ortiz on RAW. Hell, Ortiz would make a better Divas champion than her—or better yet Santino Marella!

SmackDown

Rey Mysterio

Very satisfied with this pick(my third draft prediction), I never really got used to Rey being on RAW—it just didn't look right. I like him better on SmackDown and the Intercontinental Championship just sweetens the deal.

Let's just hope we don't have to go through another Rey Mysterio/Edge feud anytime soon.

Melina

I like that the Women's Championship is on SmackDown.Especially now that Gail Kim is back, plus Michelle McCool and Natalya can hold a title that has meaning and nothing that gimmick Divas Title.

CM Punk

The undeserving two-time Money in the Bank winner, has come to SmackDown(the show he should have been drafted to last year) let's hope Mr.Kennedy challenges Punk for the briefcase and wins. However, I do believe Punk and Edge could have some great matches.

Chris Jericho

Noooo! This blew me away because I wasn't expecting Chris to go to SmackDown and I don't want him to go either I like him on RAW. RAW is no longer Jericho. Either way, hope fully we get to see a Jericho/Edge feud.

ECW

Vladimir Kozlov

Should be interesting seeing Swagger take on Kozlov. Finlay loves to fight, well now he'll have someone to play with.

I know not many people are going to agree with me on this, but I can't wait to see Kozlov take on Mark Henry. I see a face turn for Henry if these two behemoths lock horns.

THE SHOCKER!

John Cena didn't get drafted to SmackDown—my only prediction that didn't happen. Well there's always the Supplemental Draft.

CM Punk Goes Money In The Bankrupt!

I just witnessed another fantastic WrestleMania. A match of the year winner between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels as The Phenom extends to 17-0. Triple H defended his family's honor and the WWE Championship against Randy Orton. Matt Hardy walked out of his brother's shadow in a hellacious extreme rules match, while Jeff extends his WrestleMania losing streak to 0-6.

The one thing I look forward to at WrestleMania is Money in the Bank. I feel as if it's a match to award the superstar that has worked hard and it time to give them their big break.

I was a little irked last year when CM Punk won Money in the Bank, but tonight when I saw him grab that briefcase, I was shocked and mad at the same time. I guess you could say I was "shomad". And yes, I did just make that word up.

I strongly believe that Money in the Bank should be reserved for people who have worked their butts off and gave their everything in the squared circle...like Shelton Benjamin.

I praise Shelton Benjamin because he is the most athletically gifted wrestler in pro wrestling! We're talking about a man that beat Triple H. He pinned The Game! He's had classic matches with Shawn Michaels, Kurt Angle, and recently with MVP.

By the way, he also defeated Ric Flair to become a two time Intercontinental Champion, which also made him the first African American to hold the title on two occasions.

Now CM Punk, who came in WWE in 2006, then in 2008 won the Money in the Bank and won, I mean, was handed the World Heavyweight Championship. Shelton, whose been with WWE since 2002, should have been a multi-time World Champion by now!

I think it sucks how CM Punk was handed his World Title and he shouldn't embrace that he won he should actually be quite ashamed of how he hasn't put in work like Shelton Benjamin.

But you know who I really feel bad for...Kane. Who'll ever forget his dominate 24-hour reign as WWE Champion back in 1997. WWE continues to whore Kane. Let's hope he doesn't become an enhancer like Barry Horowitz.

Christian has to start from scratch because he left, if he wouldn't have left WWE, he would have been a perfect candidate to win Money in the Bank as well.

Like I said, I think the Money in the Bank briefcase should be awarded to people who have worked their butts off.

I really hope someone challenges CM Punk for the briefcase and wins it from him. I don't have anything against Punk, but last year and now just isn't the time for The Punker.

Jaguar Yokota Isn't a Diva or a Knockout: She's a Wrestler!

I've been watching professional wrestling all my life, and when it came down to women's wrestling, I honestly thought it was meaningless, worthless, and boring. It wasn't until Trish Stratus started wrestling that it actually became interesting to me. I witnessed Chyna become the first and only female to win the Intercontinental Championship. I saw Lita do a Moonsault, which just blew my mind. By that time they gained my respect, but I still didn't appreciate women's wrestling. I still had that feeling that they didn't belong. I felt they were just all breasts and looks, with no real purpose.

Two weeks ago, I was expanding my wrestling knowledge and ran across the name Jaguar Yokota. I went to Youtube, and to my surprise, it was a female wrestler. I watched a couple of her matches and I'll be damned if she didn't impress me.

You see, Jaguar Yokota (born Rimi Yokota) is a Japanese female professional wrestler. What impressed me was how little she was, but how great of a wrestler she is.

In the early '80s she was considered one of the best wrestlers of either sex in the world. Yokota made her debut against Mayumi Takahashi on June 28, 1977.

Yokota spent most of her career in AWJ (All Japan Women), where she was the headliner. She became the AJW Junior Champion in January 1980. She'd go on to win the WWWA World Tag Team Championship with Ayumi Hori on December 17, right after becoming the first AJW Champion.

On February 21, 1981, she defeated her idol, Jackie Soto, to become the WWWA World Heavyweight Championship. She was only nineteen at the time!

Unfortunately, she would go into early retirement at the young age of twenty-four after a shoulder injury. But she soon became a trainer for AJW, producing such names as Manami Toyota, Magumi Kudo, and Kyoko Inoue.

Yokota would come out of retirement in 1995 to form her own promotion company, JDStar, and wrestle as the top star. Yet, she would retire again in 1998 and the company folded in 2007.

Today she wrestles as a freelancer in HUSTLE and now goes by Jaguar Y. Jaguar Yokota married in August 2004, and today, at the age of forty-seven, is still going strong.

She innovated moves such as the Suplex Powerslam (The Jackhammer) and the Double Underhook Powerbomb. She is a member of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame (class of 1996).

She's helped pave the way for female wrestlers of today and for future Hall of Famers like Trish Stratus, Lita and Victoria.

It is because of her that I now appreciate women's wrestling. I normally turn the channel when the women are wrestling, but maybe now I'll just sit back and watch these women do what they worked so hard for, and I don't mean divas or knockouts. They worked hard to become wrestlers!

New School I: Rocky "Azucar" Romero

There are so many talented wrestlers on the Indy circuit or over in Japan that don't get the recognition they deserve. I think it's time for these future stars of the business to get some exposure.

I'm just starting to know more about Rocky "Azucar" Romero myself, but from what I've seen from his matches on YouTube, he looks to have a promising career in either WWE or TNA.

Getting into the business/Japan

The Cuban-American wrestler broke out on the scene on Sept. 13, 1997. He received training in California at the New Japan Dojo by legendary Japanese wrestler, Antonio Inoki.

While working in New Japan Pro Wrestling he was chosen as the fourth incarnation of Black Tiger. As the villainous Black Tiger IV he feuded with Tiger Mask IV, he'd win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship on Oct. 8, 2005. Romero would no longer portray Black Tiger IV, but the legacy continued on with Black Tiger V.

Grey Shadow/Mexico

Romero began to compete in CMLL, the world's oldest wrestling promotion(founded in 1933). He became the first ever World Super Lightweight Champion on Sept. 8, 2003 by defeating Volador, Jr. in the final of a tournament. Rocky would don a mask once more in early 2008, this time competing as the Grey Shadow.

In October 2008, he jumped ship to AAA while still holding the CMLL World Super Lightweight Champion. Romero was introduced as a member of Sean Waltman's Degeneration Mex in Puebla, Mexico.

Ring of Honor

Romero gained more exposure in the United States as one half of the Havana Pitbulls with Ricky Reyes.

Reyes and Romero set a record in ROH by becoming the longest reigning ROH Tag Team Champions, until that record was broken by Austin Aries and Roderick Strong. Reyes and Romero were also members of Homicide's stable, The Rottweilers.

Return of the Tiger

For one more time, Romero competed as Black Tiger IV in Chikara against Mike Quakenbush for the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship.

Return to ROH

Rocky returned in January 2007, by defeating Davey Richards. Soon, Rocky Romero would walk out on his long time partner Ricky Reyes during a match against the Briscoes Brothers. He became a member of the No Remorse Corps, with new teammate, Davey Richards. As of now, Romero still works on the Indy Circuit and over in Japans NOAH promotion.

Romero is known for his stiff shoot-style kicks and numerous variations of armlocks. Also known to be very technical wrestler.

Get to know Rocky "Azucar" Romero!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jt_aEjj3BfQ

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbuThmpaYqg

Everything Is Right Again: MVP Is United States Champion!

Ahh! Last night was like a breath of fresh air when my hero, MVP, hit the Playmaker and defeated Shelton Benjamin to win back his United States Championship. I've waited since April 28, 2008, for him to win back his belt.

So what's next for Primetime? April 5, that's what's next. For the second time, Mr. Porter is going to walk into Wrestlemania as the United States Champion.

Unlike last year when Matt Hardy screwed him over, this year he's going to climb that ladder and walk out what he already is—Mr. Money in the Bank.

It's hard to believe that he was on a 20+ losing streak during the later part of last year. And no MVP was not "jobbing" or "enhancing" to other talents, he just had a slump and he came out of that slump at the right time.

I never imagined that he would turn face this soon, I'm so used to seeing him as a heel that I'm still getting use to him being a brand spankin' new face.

MVP will be the only competitor to win MITB while holding a championship. He continues to make history.

JBL: Our Flabby Intercontinental Champion

Everyone should be thanking JBL and should be very happy that he's the Intercontinental Champion, because this means that the historic title will be defended at WrestleMania 25.

The last time the Intercontinental Championship was defended at a WrestleMania, it was at WrestleMania 18, when Rob Van Dam defeated William Regal to win the IC Title.

Now, we just have to wait to find out who JBL's opponent is going to be. I was thinking maybe Mike Knox, but that wouldn't be a very good match. I mean, let's be honest, JBL is no Lou Thesz. It could be a good match if it was a street fight, although Knox would probably win.

But, in the end, I think everyone knows who his opponent is going to be: Rey Mysterio. Ideally, Rey should win the title from JBL before WrestleMania, then defend the title against Evan Bourne at WrestleMania 25.

Either way, that title needs to be defended.

Family Affair IX: The Neidharts

Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart

Jim Neidhart was born on Aug. 2, 1956 in Tampa, FL. In high school, he participated in track and field events. After graduating high school, he pursued a career in the NFL. He played briefly for the Oakland Raiders and the Dallas Cowboys.

After his release from the Cowboys, Jim went to Calgary to train with Stu Hart. He worked for Stu's Stampede Wrestling. Soon he married Ellie Hart, becoming an in-law to the Hart legacy.

Bret Hart and Jim would debut in the WWF as The Hart Foundation, a heel tag team, in 1985. They were managed by WWE Hall of Famer "Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart. Jimmy led them to their first Tag Team Championship.

They would become two time Tag Team Champions during their run as a tag team. Once Bret sought success in singles Jim would take a hiatus from the WWF.

In 1997, Jim would return to the newly formed Hart Foundation, this time with Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Davey Boy Smith and Brian Pillman. This Hart Foundation was formed the night after WrestleMania 13, after Bret defeated Stone Cold in a submission match.

After the Montreal Screw-job, Bret left the WWF for WCW and Jim soon followed him. Neidhart would form a tag team with The British Bulldog in WCW. They were rarely used and achieved little success. Jim was soon released.

Today, he's still wrestling on the Canadian Indy Circuit.

Natalya Neidhart

Born May 27,1982. Natalya is the first third generation wrestler in the world. She has a background in amateur wrestling and mixed martial arts. She received training from her uncles Ross and Bruce Hart.

She made her debut in 2000. In 2003, she worked for the family's Stampede Wrestling. In 2007, she signed a developmental deal with the WWE. She was called up to Smackdown in April 2008, starting a feud with Michelle McCool. She lost to McCool at the Great American Bash, McCool became the first Divas Champion.

Natalya is now on ECW managing her real life boyfriend, Tyson Kidd.

WWE Parallel Universe

What in the hell has been going on in the WWE? I swear we must be in a parallel universe or something.

To begin with, Mark Henry qualified for the "Money in the Bank" match. Considering he's 6'1" and 400 pounds to begin with, nothing about this makes sense.

I just never thought that Mark Henry, of all people, would be in an MITB match.

Now, I wouldn't mind seeing him face Jack Swagger at WrestleMania; that would be interesting. I swear they're going to have to reinforce those ladders for him and Kane.

Henry should actually be a better wrestler. I mean, he was trained by Stu Hart and Bret Hart. And since taking Tony Atlas on as his manager he's definitely improved.

MVP is a face. I always knew that he'd be a face one day, but not this soon. I miss him as a heel, but seeing the fans get behind him makes me sick.

All those hypocritical fans are the same fans that were booing him as United States Champion. It's funny how those insects can change at the snap of a finger. They aren't MVP fans because they weren't down with him from the beginning, like myself and other real MVP fans were.

It's like MVP says: "Don't show up, when I blow up!" And now that he's face.

Everyone wants to ride on the MVP train. Well, I'm sorry, but only true MVP fans are allowed on the MVP Train.

Something else I can't believe: Maryse is still Divas Champion.

I feels as if the Divas Championship is nothing but a gimmick championship. It holds no real meaning. It's just something to have around—kind of like Maryse.

Maryse will always be known as the blond French-Canadian who speaks terrible English and lacks proper in ring abilities. She's a disgrace to great Canadian wrestlers.

I'm actually starting to get irritated by the fact that Low Ki (now Kaval) hasn't been called up to the main roster. I watched his match with T.J. Wilson (Tyson Kidd) in FCW and it was great. Hopefully that's not the last time we see them go at it.

WWE should be blessed that they have Low Ki and I hope they use him the right way.

Well, my dog is snoring and I can't think of anything else to write. Leave your thoughts and comments.

Note: Tonight I will be bringing back my Family Affair series, starting off with the Neidharts!

Let's Get Something Straight: HBK Will Always Be Mr. WrestleMania!

Someone had the nerve to write an article saying that Hulk Hogan is the real Mr. WrestleMania! Can you believe that? Now I'm not naming any names, but that person is wrong. DEAD WRONG!

People often say that if it weren't for Hulk Hogan, there wouldn't be a WrestleMania, well, I think thats complete b.s. If it weren't for Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff and Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff and "Cowboy" Bob Orton and others, there wouldn't be a WrestleMania. Don't just give all the credit to Hack Hogan.

But back to The Showstopper. Shawn Michaels has given us classic memorable matches and moments. Whether it was the first ladder match at WrestleMania 10 between him and Razor Ramon, his unforgettable zipline entrance from the rafters at WrestleMania XII, his match with Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 21, or Ric Flair's last match with Mr. WrestleMania himself at Wrestlemania 24.

These are things that Hogan cannot give us. The only WrestleMania moments he's really had is being at the first WrestleMania and slamming Andre the Giant. And as far as matches. The only two WrestleMania matches of his that I enjoyed is his match with Andre (because he slammed Andre) and his match with Randy Savage (because Randy Savage was in the match).

If you think about there's really nothing special about Hulk Hogan...just ask his wife.

So I suggest that you all just sit back and enjoy the memories that HBK continues to give us. Because WrestleMania is only weeks away. His match with The Undertaker is sure to be another Mr. WrestleMania classic.

Screw Hulk Hogan!

I recently read where the asshole in the picture above claimed that he was offered the lead role in "The Wrestler". Hulk Hogan, you no good son of a b*tch, you're a Goddamn liar!

Mickey Rourke is nominated for an Academy Award and all of a sudden, you come out of the wood work and say, "I was originally suppose to play Randy "The Ram" Robinson." That's a bunch of bull. I really don't like you, Terry Bollea.

You know what makes this so bad? The fact that Rourke is actually a better wrestler than Hogan. I really want Rourke to make it to WrestleMania, rather than that washed up has been "Hack" Hogan.

Just hearing the rumor of Cena versus Hogan make my skin itch. I honestly hope Hogan doesn't make it to WrestleMania. This is the twenty-fifth anniversary of a historic event and we don't need him screwing it up, that why we have Cena.

I honestly from the bottom of my heart don't care what any of you think about what I'm about to write, so here it goes.

I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL HULKAMANIA IS DEAD!

I have been waiting for that damn thing to be over with for years now. Just knowing that there are still "Hackamaniacs" out there makes me want to vomit, just like when I'm watching Hogan wrestling.

And if you expect me to apologize for what I just said, you might as well think again. I speak whats on my mind and whats on my mind is the truth. As little kids growing up you and the rest of the world were all manipulated by Hogan to believe that he was a great wrestler. The only thing good about Hogan was his promos and the only good thing about his promos were when he said, "Well, ya know somethin' Mean Gene!"

That was it! That's all!

To this very day, you all are still fans of his. But I'm not. I'm what you would call a "smart wrestling fan". I was a fan of people that can actually wrestle. People like: Ric Flair, Randy Savage, Ricky Steamboat, Kerry Von Erich, Paul Orndorff, Iron Sheik,"Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Bret Hart...the list goes on and on and on.

But to be honest, this is mostly Vince McMahon's fault for creating such a travesty. Hell, the XFL was a better idea than Hogan.

Okay, so maybe that's not true.

Back Up Son: Hernandez Is on the Way!

If someone came up and asked me to name one of my favorite TNA Superstars, the first name to come out of my mouth would have to be, "Hernandez."

He's 6'1" and 265 pounds.

When I see "SuperMex" in the ring, I'm amazed by the things I see him do. To see such a powerhouse fly over the top rope like a lightweight is just awesome.

Hernandez is one of the most agile powerhouse wrestlers I've seen in a while and if you don't believe me just watch him scale the ropes during an Ultimate X match.

I believe Hernandez will be the first Hispanic TNA World Champion. Because let's be honest—Sting is almost 50 years old and this should be his last title reign.

Sting's accomplished everything he could accomplish and now it's time to acknowledge the new school of wrestlers.

Hernandez's first TNA World Title match ended in disqualification due to interference from the "Nursing Home Mafia." Mick Foley has guaranteed him another title match at a later date—hopefully sooner than later.

Depending on whether TNA can reach a deal with Hernandez and Homicide on a new contract, I really want to see Hernandez toss Sting around like a rag doll inside of the Six Sides of Steel.

If used and pushed the right way, there's no excuse for Hernandez not to go straight to the top in the wrestling world.

I suggest the TNA roster back up because Hernandez is on his way!

Chris Jericho Is Simply The Best

I just wanted to take time to praise Chris Jericho because he is simply one of the greatest wrestlers to step inside the ring. For damn near twenty years, he has bleed, sweat, and busted his ass inside the ring and now he's finally being realized for the ring general that he truly is.

If you haven't read my last couple of pieces on Tommy Dreamer, Ricky Ortiz, and Michael Hayes, I basically tear them a new one. And I have Chris Jericho to thank for that.

After months of hearing him rant, it just became a part of me. If it wasn't for his heel turn and his weekly rants and verbal bashings, I wouldn't be able to come on here and run people into the ground, like Tommy Dreamer. I have embraced my "inner Jericho" and I am loving it!

But I would like to address one thing about Mr.Jericho. This past Monday on RAW, when he attacked WWE Hall of Famer "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, that was not cool at all. But nonetheless, Jericho is still one of my all time favorites.

Give Me a Break, Michael Hayes!

When I think of legends, the last person that comes to mind is Michael "P.S." Hayes. The "P.S." stand for "Purely Sexy," something that he is not.

Actually, he doesn't come to mind at all. Yesterday, I was on IGN.com checking out the video roster for the upcoming "WWE Legends of WrestleMania" video game, I can't believe they put him on that game.

I honestly cannot see myself playing a game with Michael Hayes in it. I just can't respect someone who comes out the the ring sporting the confederate flag as a cape and as face paint.

The only thing you're remembered for is your time as one of the members of the Fabulous Freebirds and your feud with the Von Erichs.

With your tacky outfits, and that God-awful moonwalk, you're an embarrassment.

You're not even worthy of inducting the Von Erichs into the WWE Hall of Fame.

I can only hope you have enough sense to not wear one of those awful trashy suits at the Hall of Fame, like the one from last year.

And like Ricky Ortiz, you don't have my respect, especially after what you said to Mark Henry, "I'm more of a n***a than you are."

You are a sick, washed up, disgusting old man, that no one respects or care about. Your career was pathetic and so are you.

Ortiz and Dreamer: Constantly Grinding My Gears

If there are two people that are currently pissing me off on Tuesday nights it would have to be Tommy Dreamer and the God awful Ricky Ortiz. As we all know Tommy "Jobber" lost to John Morrison tonight (as usual).

What really did it for me was when Ricky Ortiz threw a rally towel at Dreamer and told him to rally up. Really? Ricky Ortiz instead of telling people to "rally up", maybe you should rally down to FCW and learn how to wrestle. Instead of telling Tommy to rally up, you should have been encouraging him to quit.

Ricky, it's people like you that really tick me off. You come from another sport that you sucked at and think that you can make it in professional wrestling. Ortiz you're 33 years old and you don't have that much experience.

Instead of trying to whore yourself out to Tiffany, a woman that can do way better than you, maybe you should return to the AFL with the company you belong with, all the losers and washed up has-beens that couldn't cut it in the NFL. Thats right go back to the AFL and make an attempt at winning the AFL Championship-a novelty championship that has no real meaning.

Tommy Dreamer, June 6 can't get here soon enough. I don't care if you win the ECW Championship or not, I just cherish the day you leave professional wrestling because just like you stated in your WWE Universe blog, "you are old, you are fat and no one wants to see you."

Tommy I suggest you just quit now, you have two little girls at home with their mother that watch their old, fat, washed up father lose week after week. Although you may not know it, those girls probably go to school getting picked on about how their father sucks and they can't do anything but hold their heads down in shame because down in their hearts they know it's true.

And imagine your wife's friends, talking behind her back about how she could have done better, how you're a loser wrestler, that she should take the kids and just leave you for a better man/wrestler.

Dreamer you've went from "Innovator of Violence" to "Innovator of Nothing", because thats what you have done to your career, you've turned it into nothing. It is worthless. Your autograph probably isn't even worth a nickel anymore.

With this in closing, Tommy Dreamer, you have lost my respect and Ricky Ortiz, you never had my respect to begin with in the first place. I honestly can't believe I just wasted my time writing an article on such worthless talent.

To Everyone on B/R: Please Stop Writing Wrestlemania 25 Articles!

Just like all wrestling fans, I look forward to one thing every year-WrestleMania. And yes this is Mania 25, the biggest WrestleMania yet! But there is one thing that has been pissing me off everytime I come onto B/R and that is all of these goddamn WrestleMania articles that I've been seeing, telling what's going to happen, what matches have been confirmed, who's going to be there and who isn't.

For those people that have written articles like that can you please do me a huge favor? PLEASE SHUT UP!

And you know what? You want to know why people say wrestling isn't as good as it use to be? Why it's not interesting? It's because of us. We are part of the reason why wrestling isn't interesting to us anymore—or at least some of us.

The thing that we all claim to love we are taking the fun out of it. And we can thank the wrestling sites that dish all the "dirt" and reveal the spoilers. All the 24wrestling.com, 411mania.com, and other sites, instead of going to these sites trying to find out the latest "scoop", we should be trying to find a way to shut these sites down.

We don't need to know what's going to happen. That's the whole point of watching the show! To find out what's going to happen.

Whatever happened to coming home from work or school and preparing to watch one of the greatest sports ever? Instead we're writing about what's going to happen on Raw, ECW, Smackdown,TNA or the next Pay-Per-View.

I'm willing to admit that I read the spoilers and dirt shirts, but no more. I'm ashamed of what I've become. Temptation is a son of a b*tch.

Everyone who reads this just stop writing these articles on WrestleMania 25, just wait until April 5 on Pay-Per-View to see what happens on the grandest stage of the all-WrestleMania.

WWE Opens A Championship Door: Strike While The Iron is Hot

Talk about shockers, Smackdown has all the gold (well, the two big titles anyway). Edge truly is the ultimate opportunist. He got into the Raw Elimination Chamber and won! That's what I call determination.

Now is the time to strike—while the iron is smoking hot. Smackdown now holds the WWE Champioship and the World Heavyweight Championship. WrestleMania XXV is coming up so why not combine the titles?

Combining the titles will play out very well at WrestleMania, if you put the right people in the match. I'm thinking three people from each brand competing in a six man elimination Hell in a Cell match for both titles at WrestleMania XXV.

The man that should win the match should be none other than Shawn Michaels. The last time HBK weld a world title was back in 2002. He's well over due for another big championship run.

Leave your thoughts and comments. And as always, don't forget to rate!

Family Affair VIII: The Funks

Tougher than three two-dollar steaks, the Funks have made a name for themselves by being some of the toughest Texans in the business.

Dory Funk, Sr.

Born on May 4,1919, the Funk legacy begins with good ol' dad, Dory Sr. Dory was an amateur wrestler in Indiana while attending High School and College. After serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II, Dory began wrestling professionally.

Normally wrestling in in Texas territories and central states during his career. Dory Funk has competed in 250 Texas death matches and has never loss, a record that has yet to be broken.

After retiring, He became a promoter in Amarillo,Texas and helped train future stars such as: Terry and Dory Funk, Jr., Stan Hensen, Ted DiBiase, Tito Santana, Jumbo Tsuruta and more.

Dory died on June 3, 1973. On July 15, 2006, Dory Funk, Sr. was inducted into the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Dory Funk, Jr.

Dorrance was born on Feb. 3, 1943. He entered into the family business in January 1963 competing in his first match, he defeated Don Fargo in Amarillo, TX.

In 1968, Dory came to the National Wrestling Alliance and eventually would win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship from Gene Kiniski on Feb. 11, 1969. Dory would hold the title for four and a half years becoming the second longest NWA World Champion (the first being Lou Thesz; from 1949 to 1956). Dory and his brother Terry are the only brothers in history to both hold the NWA World Championship.

On May 24, 1973, he dropped the belt to Harley Race. Dory would continue to perform in the NWA and it's territories through the 1970s and early 1980s.

Given the nickname "Hoss", he debuted with his brother Terry in a tag team match at WrestleMania II, where they defeated Junkyard Dog and Tito Santana. Dory would appear again in the 1996 Royal Rumble.

Dory now runs the Funking Conservatory Professional Wrestling School down in Florida. Graduates of the school are: Matt Hardy, Christian, Kurt Angle, Lita, Edge and more. Dory Funk, Jr. is the creator of the Texas Cloverleaf.

It has been announced that The Funks will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Terry Funk

Terrance was born on June 30, 1944. Where do you begin with Terry Funk? There so much that he's accomplished through his career that I'll just go through the basics.

He made his debut in 1965. In 1968, he joined the NWA with his brother. In 1975, he defeated Jack Brisco for the NWA World Championship. He and his brother are the only brothers to hold the NWA World Championship.

He and his brother defeated Tito Santana and Junkyard Dog at WrestleMania II. In 1989, he returned to the NWA to feud with Ric Flair over the NWA World Championship, which lead to their classic "I Quit" match. After Flair lock on the Figure Four Terry yelled "Yes! I Quit!".

ECW. If it was not for Terry offering to help get ECW off the ground, we probably wouldn't be mentioning the letters E-C-W. After winning the ECW title at ECw's first Pay-Per-View Barely Legal, he feuded with Sabu.

Both men competed in a barbwire match that is still talked about today, Sabu would defeat Funk, but after the match both men had to be cut out of the barb wire.

Terry signed on to the WWE in 1998 and competed as Chainsaw Charlie. He and Foley were having a match, but then the New Age Outlaws came out put them in a dumpster and pushed them off the stage.

At WrestleMania XIV, they would defeat the New Age Outlaws for the tag belts. The next night they would lose the belts back to the New Age Outlaws in a steel cage match.

Terry would wrestle in WCW in 2000, winning the U.S. title on two occasions and the Hardcore title on three (a record in WCW).

From 2002-2005, Terry worked the Independent Circuit. At Hardcore Homecoming, Funk lost a triple-threat barbed wire match to Sabu.

In 2006, Funk wrestled at ECW One Night Stand, Funk, Dreamer and Bealuh lost to Foley, Edge and Lita. The Funks will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year.

Known for consistently retiring then coming back to wrestle, he truly is "One Bad Mother Funker."

The Top Six Submissions In My Book

If it's one thing I love it's a good 'ol fashion submission. Just knowing that someone is about to tap out to - or pass out from - a submission, gives me satisfaction.

I want to know something. Why is Chris Jericho still using the Walls of Jericho? Which is basically a Boston Crab. I think it's time for him to ditch that move and stick to the Codebreaker. With that being said, Chris Jericho did not make my list. The Boston Crab is played out, the only old school submission thats still fresh is the Figure Four and the Bear Hug (for the big men).

A move that I should have put on here was Khali's Vice Grip. The man is big and so are his hands, he's already powerful so it makes the move just that more powerful. I mean, he did defeat Ric Flair with it, didn't he?
Begin Slideshow

The Shooting Range: Tommy Dreamer Needs To Quit

I have always wondered, "If wrestlers can shoot on wrestling or wrestling, then why not the fan?" I bring you the shooting range. Shooting on Tommy Dreamer.

To all of the hundreds of Tommy Dreamer fans that are left, please excuse me for what I'm about to say, but I have to get this off my chest. Please forgive me if I offend you in any way...although I don't care if you get pissed about what I'm about to say.

I am so tired of seeing Tommy Dreamer in the ring that it's gotten to the point where I'd rather see Ricky Ortiz wrestle. It's gotten that bad.

From 1993 to 2001, Tommy Dreamer entertained fans in the original ECW. His claim to fame was being caned by Sandman after their infamous Singapore cane match, where Tommy took 10 strikes across his back. Now he's WWE's resident jobber.

An ECW legend (and I use the term "legend" very loosely), Tommy held the ECW Championship in 2000—for 30 minutes. Dreamer has stated that he wanted to go his entire ECW career without winning titles.

Dreamer fans please excuse me, but if there were a Hall of Fame for the losers of professional wrestling, Dreamer would be a first-ballot candidate.

The only thing Tommy Dreamer is good at is hardcore matches.

And who gave him the moniker "The Innovator of Violence"? Was it commentator Joey Styles? God, talk about lame. The only thing Styles will be remembered for is his signature phrase "Oh my God!", the same words that he can't get his wife to say. Yeah, that's real creative.

I'm ready for this whole "I love ECW and I need to prove that I'm not worthless by winning the title that I only held for 30 minutes a long time ago before my contract expires."

Fatty Dreamer, whether you win the ECW Championship from the guy who's handed you your own ass on numerous occasions, Jack Swagger, or not, just do us all a favor and quit.

Who's Better—Alex Koslov or Vladimir Kozlov?

Whether they're really Russian or not, you can't deny that Russian wrestlers or characters have played quite a role in pro wrestling in the 1970s and 1980s. And it looks to be happening again in the 2000s.

Alex Koslov

Hopefully, you all remember that person in the picture and if not, allow me to reintroduce you to Alex Koslov. He's best remembered for his appearance in TNA for the TNA 2008 World X Cup.

Only 24 years of age and is a talented wrestler with a promising future. Just like WWE's Kozlov, he's a true Russian.

Currently competing in Mexico, he uses the Soviet Frog Splash Elbow Drop as his finisher. A great technical wrestler.

Vladimir Kozlov

Standing at 6'6" and 310 pounds, He's undefeated on Friday Night SmackDown. Kozlov has proven he is a force to be reckon with.

With a background in Sambo, Kickboxing and Pro Football (while competing over in Germany), he's defeated Festus, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, battled Undertaker and won by DQ, and is currently feuding with Triple H, but still demands competition.

Kozlov has yet to be pinned or forced to submit on television. A real powerhouse wrestler.

Who's better?

So who's the better wrestler? That's easy! Alex Koslov. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Vladimir but if given the chance I'd rather see Alex wrestle. Plus, Alex is 24 and Vladimir is 37. In conclusion, I think WWE should have signed Alex Koslov when they had the chance.

Swagger's Streak Is Knocked Off!; Dreamer Gets a Reality Check

"No, no, no! Kickout! Kickout!" Those are the words I yelled right before Finlay defeated Jack Swagger, ending the ECW Champion's undefeated streak.

The first time the student beat the teacher, but this time the teacher got vengeance. For those of you who don't know, Finlay helped trained Jack Swagger.

If you didn't see this match, I highly suggested you look for it on youtube, I think its the best match to take place on ECW in 2009.

I'll be the first to admit that the only time I'm a fan of Tommy dreamer is when there's weapons around. Now Dreamer announced two or three weeks ago that if he does not win the ECW Championship before his contract expires (June 6,2009) he will retire.

So after getting slammed by John Morrison and The Miz (The Greatest Tag Team of the 21st Century), being called "Fatty Dreamer" and receiving the Reality Check from Miz, there's only one thing left to happen to Tommy Dreamer...be released by WWE and go to the minor leagues (TNA).

Sorry but, Tommy your time is up and Jack your star is shining.

Team 3D: Are Their 22 Tag Team Championships Legit?

Definitely in my top five of favorite Tag Team; they rank at number two on my list.

Back to the hand at matter, all wrestling fans know that Team 3D are 22-time Tag Team Champions (currently winning the IWGP Tag belts).

As big a fan of Team 3D that I am, I have to admit that they shouldn't be consider 22 time Tag Team Champions.

When referring to their ECW Tag Team Title reign, I think Scott Steiner hit the nail on the head when he said, "How can you be ECW World Tag Team Champions, if you never left the state!" So the ECW Tag Titles are out of the window.

Currently they're holding the HUSTLE Super Tag Team Championship and the IWGP Tag Team Championship. I'm not sure if those titles have "world status" being that those title are only defended over in Japan.

Team 3D/Dudley Boyz have held the WCW Tag Titles, WWE World Tag Titles, and the WWE Tag Titles. Now we all know those are legit world Tag Titles.

In TNA, they have held the NWA Tag belts and the TNA Tag belts, also legit.

So when it comes to "World" Tag Titles, titles that have been defended around the world, Team 3D actually are just 12 time World Tag Team Champions.

So what do you think about their tag title reigns? Leave your thoughts and comments.
