New Madden Out Tonight At Midnight!

As most of you already know, Madden '09 hit stores tonight at midnight.

I'm not sure about everyone else, but I know if I can scrape up enough money to purchase me a copy I will. I have been waiting for this game for almost a year now.(since last year version hit stores).

From what I have read it seems as though there are a lot of new features on this year's version, including returning missed FG's back for td's, new bobble catches, and Madden Moments.

The feature I'm looking forward to the most is the forspoken madden moments. Ever since NCAA Football greatest play features a few years back I've been waiting for Madden to catch on.

This post will be edited with my reviews of the game when I make the purchase so please stay tuned.

Boston Red Sox—Kansas City Royals: I Was Wrong and Can Admit It!

I can honestly admit I was wrong about the Royals-Red Sox game last night. I still believe KC will slip into the playoffs though. I'm hoping they will turn it back around tonight in the final game of the Red Sox three-game series.

As for tonight, I believe the score will be 5-3 for the Royals. I believe Hochevar will pitch 6 1.3 innings giving up the 3 ER, 6-7 SO, and three walks. I believe that Guillen will provide runs with a 2-5 hitting night (1 HR, 2 RBI, 1 R). I also believe that Butler will drive in a run along with Gorden or Teahan getting the other two RBI.

Once again, I am a man and can admit when I'm wrong. I'm not changing my stance on my BOLD prediction though, so remember that. Thanks everyone for reading!

Best Bet of the Night

My best bet of the night for the MLB is the Kansas City Royals over the Boston Red Sox. I continuously write about this, the Royals, but I somehow believe this team is together as one now. As for tonight, I see it being a close game to begin with. Around two-two in the bottom of the fourth.

In the bottom of the fourth I expect Mike Aviles (18-34, three hr's, six RBIs, and 11 runs in Kansas City's last eight games, 7-1) to blast a home run, going three-for-five on the day with three RBIs and a run. As for other batting help, I see Jose Guillen hitting one out and having two RBIs with two runs.

Pitching-wise, I see Brian Bannister getting his stuff together. Seven and and a third with six k's four walks and the Victory. And to finish the game of Mr. Soria to pick up his 33rd save in 35 ops. All comments and critiques are welcome.

Jaguars: Pull Colts off Their Throne

Jacksonville Jaguars 12-4 T-1st AFC South

Indianapolis Colts 12-4 T-1st AFC South

Tennessee Titans 9-7 3rd AFC Sout

Houston Texans 7-9 4th AFC South

I see this as the year that the Jaguars will unite as a whole and take down the empire known as, Indianapolis.

With this, comes help from Derrick Harvey and Quentin Groves, to fill in for the traded Marcus Stroud.

Two new weapons on the receiving line for Garrard, Porter and Williamson, will prove as great picks-ups for the rough-and-tough Jaguars.

A moderate schedule would be hard to say the Jaguars can't win at least 12 games this year.

Questionable injuries to Peyton Manning, might find others and myself any reason that this isn't their year.

I see Tennessee and Houston both falling one game back of last years mark.

Tennessee might surprise people with double digits wins.

With a nice pick-up of Crumpler in the off-season, gives Mr. Young another threat to throw the pigskin to.

I just see the Jaguars being the sleeper Super Bowl pick this year.

Kansas City Royals Have Won Seven Out of Eight and Four in a Row!

Kansas City has secretly won four in a row and seven out of eight. Tonight on the Mound is Brian Bannister (7-9) for the Royals vs. Josh Beckett for Boston.

Like I posted on here yesterday, my bold prediction is that the Royals will make the playoffs. They slowly crept 9 1/2 games back of the White Sox in the division.

I see them keeping that streak alive tonight with a 7-2 win over Boston. Bannister will go 7 1/3 innings while striking out six, walking four and giving up one earned run. I believe Guillen will go 3-5 with a homerun and two RBI and Aviles will go 2-5 with a homerun, three RBI, and two runs scored. Correct me when I'm wrong, but until then sit back and watch overwhelmingly.
