NFL Beware of Patriots

The NFL should be worried about the 2009 New England Patriots.

They were a scary offense until they rolled over and died two years ago in the Super Bowl against the Giants.

Now, Tom Brady is coming back and looking for redemption.

Randy Moss and Wes Welker have two more years in an offensive system that they set records during their first season.

The addition of Joey Galloway and Greg Lewis at wide receiver just made our receiving core a lot deeper, too.

Brady and his receivers are hungry and our back field is better than it has been in a long time.

Picking up Fred Taylor is a big help. Laurence Maroney and Sammy Morris are healthy now and you still have Kevin Faulk and BenJarvus Green-Ellis to account for.

The offensive line is intact but with better back ups, the Patriots are primed to break more records this year.

Then take a look at the not so old defense and revamped secondary, and all I have to say is this: Beware of the Patriots this year because they will settle for nothing less than total decimation of all opponents.

Super Bowl XLII: Heartbreak for the Ages

I haven't been able to read anything about the Patriots since the loss.

I was so sure they could do it. I am a broken man. I can only describe what I felt when the Pats lost—and to New York, of all teams.

I was devastated.

It felt like my life ended, like there was nothing to live for. I was sure the end of the world was coming.

But I learned a good lesson.

Football is just a game. It is great when your team is on top. It stinks when they loose. In the end life will go on, but some times we forget this.

I realized after the Patriots lost that my life was going to continue. That my son still loved me, my family was still here for me, and the most important thing to remember: THERE IS STILL NEXT YEAR.

The best thing about sports is the pain is only there for the offseason, and then we are right back in the mix of it again.

So remember, as hard as it was to watch my team lose, we will be right back on track next season.

So until then, I will say to the Patriots: We are proud of what you have done and will always be behind you.

Super Bowl XLII: No Denying the Patriots

Spygate , steroid use , illegitimate children, and whatever else people want to cry about. Simply put the New England Patriots are still the best team to ever play in the NFL and I will prove it for you.

1. The Green Bay Packers of the 60's

Never went undefeated, and never had the salary cap.

2. The Steeler's of the 70's

Never went undefeated , and never had free agency or the salary cap. And sure they had a good defense but the Patriots have the greatest offense the NFL has ever seen.

3. The 49ers of the 80's

One of the best QBs in the NFL ever and the best wide receiver ever. But they never won every game and their defense was not as good as the Patriots' this year. Their offense was not half as good as the patriots either. Also again no free agency or salary cap.

4. The Cowboys of the 90's

Great team all around, but never went undefeated, and did not have free agency. Very self destructive. Great offense, good defense, but New England's offense was a lot better.

With all this being said people will disagree. Remember the best offense in history, solid defense, one of the best coaches of all time , and did I mention the best QB in the history of the NFL.

Unlike the above-mentioned teams, the Patriots can lose key players and still win when the other teams could not. They are the greatest organization in football bar none.
