Zack Kassian The Perfect Leaf?

I think Zack Kassian is a prime pick for Toronto. He is exactly what Burke is looking for in a player.

I personally think Burke may very well draft him, because that way he wouldn't need to trade anything to pick him. Give me your opinion and thoughts.

Tlusty True Sniper: Needs Help Next Year

Jiri Tlusty had his struggles, but has seemed to put it all behind him lately.

More than put it behind him, he is making the AHL look like a joke.

His record breaking five goal game, right after putting up six-points has not slowed down.

The big question is, can he bring this play to the NHL next season?

Do you think he will put up good numbers for the Leafs next year?

How much?

I would like to know who you think would be the best person to draft to play beside Tlusty and the overall best fit for the team.

What do you think the chances of Toronto trading up to get JT are and what you think they would have to give up?

Who Should Maple Leafs Pick in Next Year's Draft?

For all you Leaf fans, since Toronto will likely not finish poorly enough to draft John Tavares, who do you think is the best player choice and why?

Leafs Take a Big Step Back by Trading Nik Antropov

All I can say is "WTF." Maple Leafs GM Brian Burke made pathetic moves today—completely pathetic.

Nik Antropov for a second-round pick...are you kidding me? Burke might as well have given everyone away for second-round picks. He just gave New York Nik Antropov. I thought he would have done something useful. I guarantee the player Toronto drafts with that second-rounder won't even make an NHL appearance. Just a terrible move by Burke.

If he couldn't get a first-rounder for him, why didn't he make a four-year deal with him? With 21 goals and 25 assists, I think, "Wow, that's so terrible. Burke just set this team back at least a year of doing anything close to making the playoffs."

If Luke Schenn Stays, Who Leaves?

If Luke Schenn makes the Toronto Maple Leafs squad for the full 2008-09 season, who leaves?

With every game, Schenn is giving coach Ron Wilson more and more reasons to keep him on the Leafs.

With an even plus-minus and his ability to hit anyone who crosses his blue line, it's hard to say goodbye. Although there wasn't much good to take out of the 6-1 loss to Montreal, Schenn showed leadership and maturity beyond his years when he dropped the gloves for Matt Stajan, when Stajan took a dirty hit from behind from Andrei Kostitsyn.

Schenn didn't want Andrei Kostitsyn to think he could hit someone from behind without suffering the consequences. This shows how much heart he has.

So what do you think: Will Schenn make the Leafs? And if he does, who goes and why?

Luke Schenn to Play in the NHL Next Season?

"The Human Eraser."

With a name like that you must be going to the show, but will Luke Schenn really make the jump this soon?

It's hard not to want him to, but at the same time it's kind of scary, because you don't want to ruin him. Then you have to think of who may leave: Colaiacovo, White, Kubina, McCabe, or maybe all of them, who really knows?

Personally, I think he can and should start at the NHL level, but that's just me. It's not like I would expect big numbers out of him. It's always a waiting game with the Leafs anyway.
