MLB: Top Three Most Annoying Batting Stances

I defined annoying as really weird, or really obviously annoying. Here they are.

1) Kevin Youkilis: He bats with his bat above his head and his butt sticking out. Kinda annoying, even though he does pretty good.

2) Tony Batista: He stands with one leg really far out and one leg in, just looks really weird to me.

3) Craig Counsell: With his bat way up high it just looks weird to me. I mean, it looks like someone stuck a bat in a statue.

David Ortiz to Be Out for 2-3 Weeks

With a partially torn tendon in his left wrist, the Sox's slugger will hopefully return in about two-and-a-half weeks. Right now, Ortiz remains hopeful that he will be back to playing after a little rest and a 15 day disabled list stint.

Ortiz injured his wrist while batting a few games ago.

However, with Ortiz's injury, a spot opened up for Chris Carter, a guy that has hit five homers in his last 10 contests. The Sox have already had to alter their lineup with Ortiz out.
