In my mind the Patriots should sign Michael Vick once he becomes eligible.

Not for a traditional backup QB role though. He could do that, however it would be nice to have him return some kicks or play some Wildcat style ball with the monsters we have already now.

Spygate seems so long ago now. 29-6 is where the Patriots stand since Spygate first broke. This was achieved by two different quarterbacks, one of whom had thrown 32 total passes since high school, and about a million different defensive players.

Imagine the Jets playing spoiler to the Patriots' playoff dreams in '09. Join a club where the only other member joined 23 years ago because you went 11-5 and couldn't get a playoff spot. Could you conceive of a team going undefeated just to lose in the Super Bowl? What would happen if your Hall of Fame-bound QB was out for the entire season?

We paid for it. However, there is no denying that we're still here at the top, and we'll still be here for a long, long time.

Cameras be damned.
