DX Reunion to Save Us From Orton?

Author's note: I had a great photo lined up, but for some reason B/R won't let me upload photos. It just sits on "processing image" for 40 hours. This was a photo I find on Getty Images that is relevant.

The Bash Pay Per View seems to be this year's most exciting Pay Per View for story line interruptions.

This included a fast-paced match between Y2J and Rey Mysterio, Y2J and Edge Unified Tag Champs,The Miz getting walloped, Kane making his mark with a comeback, Punk losing via DQ but retaining his title, and Ted Dibiase having a dispute with Orton, which I wanted to follow on and have him turn on Orton in the Three Stages of Hell match. We all knew Priceless would be there for Orton.

After watching this thrilling Bash, I couldn't help but notice right near the end, Triple H walked backstage but came back to deliver the Degeneration-X crotch chop after cheap-shotting Randy Orton with a sledgehammer.

Following on from my last article about Randy Orton and his endless disputes, might HBK be the savior of this endless bout?

Though unsigned with the WWE after Wrestlemania 25, did Triple H's DX crotch chop show positive signs of a brand new superhero—not really brand new, but new to the Orton vs Hero feud—coming back to save the day?

Triple H really dressed up his crotch chop. He made a big show of leaving and then coming back out to deliver it. It might just be the answer to a DX reunion.

I personally, would love to see DX come back, just to battle Legacy, just to put an end to this feud. Maybe Triple H's sign points to seeing that happen, and what a ride it would be.

Randy Orton vs. "Insert Superhero" Going in Endless Circles

Now, as much as I know how good Randy Orton is at being a heel, this feud between him and the Babyfaced Character has gone for around the 10 month mark now (nearly).

So Orton, at the moment, is and has been stuck in a loop of him and Faces such as Batista and HHH.

It started back with the injury to Batista back at Survivor Series, following up with a nice story of him forming his big bad bully group "Legacy", which was sparked up even more by the return of Ted Dibiase back in 2008.

Between then (the last paragraph) and now (onwards) Orton had a nearly forgettable match with the Undertaker. Anyone remember that before No Way Out to get Kane a spot in the chamber?

Nearly 10 months down the track, the group is still together (which I agree with) but we seem to be stuck in a bit of a Orton vs Batista or HHH until one or the other returns from injury.

After Orton had a nice feud with Shane McMahon and had a nice bloody match at No Way Out, we needed a big man to step into the scene. Finally, HHH came over from Smackdown to teach that mean man Orton a lesson in how to behave; by wrecking lots and lots of stuff and his house etc.

This then lead to a long and dreary match at Wrestlemania 25, in which HHH emerged victorious. Orton decides that HHH cheated with the sledgehammer Orton himself brought to the ring, so we spark this feud again, thinking it would all end at Wrestlemania.

Raw for the next week or two ended with a big beat down on HHH by Orton and Legacy, which really got boring, especially after happening before and after Wrestlemania.

The story then picks up when Batista comes back with an incredibly, intensely heated return to Raw after Orton was yet again beating down on HHH. The long awaited arrival of Batista gave Raw some real spark leading to Backlash.

After these three men, Shane McMahon, HHH and Batista all had their egos flaring in the 6-man tag team match at Backlash, HHH dropped the title to Orton, and then went out on injury.

So Batista takes the reigns from HHH as playing the big hero who's going to stop Randy Orton in his tracks, eventually leading to Orton being disqualified (as a heel does) at Judgement day, Batista's title shot blown up by the ever so prominent Legacy.

Ric Flair saves Batista's hide (get it? The Animal? Hide?) at judgement day to spark up Ric Flair as a now big hero to stop the mean man Orton. Damn these little kids have a lot of people to look up to.

So after all this with several beatdowns on the 2 super heroes, we end up at YET ANOTHER PPV, dating back from Survivor Series 2008. Batista gets his revenge on Orton by Legacy not being able to interfere with this steel cage match. WWE CHAMPION BATISTA YEAH! (Not really)

THERES EVEN MORE!!! As Orton injures Batista earlier on in the episode of Raw the next night, deciding that he's going to invoke his rematch clause, Batista is seemed to return back to the show after a horrible arm injury (Oh noes!)

Instead what we see on the Titantron is HHH, WOW REALLY? So now HHH takes the reigns from Batista who took the reigns from HHH who took the reigns from Shane McMahon who originally took the reigns in general as the super hero who stops Orton.

After this long and maybe boringly boring article, it seems we are in a bit of a loop here, that has gone on for a very very long time, which makes me not look forward to Raw each week, and this Mr McMahon being a big bully scoop really doesn't enlighten me too much.

It's even better that HHH at the end of the episode went and told Randy Orton what he really thought of him (yet again!)

I really hope that the talented writers behind the scenes of the WWE really have some big plans to end this.

In my eyes, this feud between Orton and X can only really end with a big return of "The Rock" to WWE (wont happen), HBK to return and have a DX beatdown on Legacy (also wont happen) or it has to end in one bloodspill in a big "Hell in a Cell" match, which we haven't seen for nearly 3 years now.

I think it's time, and if its calling upon the cell this feud will definetly end at Armageddon, IF AT ALL BECAUSE ITS BEING GOING FOR AGES AND AGES AND AGES.

P.S. This was a recount and a rant, and some more ranting; personally I want to see MVP get his face push and he can be the new superhero to stop the mean man Orton, but then we are back in this loop again. Woo.
