2008 was a terrific season with tons of exciting finishes, controvercial calls and tiebreaker senarios. Some may not like the BCS or may think so-and-so got snubbed, but we still all watch every single game, tivo College football Live to see if they've talked about our team, and even scoured through the internet to talk about college football.

2008 had many great moments and I will countdown the top moments of last season as '09 inches closer and closer.

Ranking the ACC: Coastal Division

Will Frank Beamer and his crew roll to another Coastal Division title?

That is the question everyone is asking.

The ACC Coastal division will build off of its youth and inexperience last year. This division has a lot of starpower and teams that vary from Spread offense to air it out to I formation run it down your throat and even Georgia Tech's wacky and wild option offense.

The Coastal has proven great coaches including legendary coach Frank Beamer and winner Butch Davis. Also, it has up-and-coming coaches David Cutcliff (Duke), Randy Shannon (Miami), and Paul Johnson (Ga. Tech). Also, Al Groh is feeling the heat on his seat and needs a productive season.
Begin Slideshow

Ranking the ACC: Atlantic Division

The Atlantic division will feature new faces this season as Clemson and Boston College will feature new coaches. Both programs decided to hire from within the previous coaching staff. Dabo Swinney and Frank Spaziani will take over these programs.

Will these coaching decisions pay off? Only time will tell, but of course, we have our own opinions on the matter.

Also in the Atlantic Division are old school coaches Bobby Bowden, Jim Grobe, Tom O'Brien and Ralph Freidgen.

Who will take the title this year in this parity filled division? Will it be Boston College? Bobby Bowden in perhaps his last go 'round? Or, will a darkhorse claw its way to the top?
