UCF's Top Five Potential QB Recruits for 2010

1. Tyler Brosius-6’3”, 228 lbs

This is a big kid who seems to be just what you look for in a college quarterback. He’s big, has a good arm, can roll out of the pocket, and can throw with accuracy, but he is also willing to sit in the pocket and take a hit if he has to.

With that being said, Brosius seems to be one of those quarterbacks that are good at a lot of things, but not quite great at any of them. He does still have a full year of high school left to improve, and if he does watch out!

2. Chandler Carr-6’0”, 200 lbs

Carr is an outstanding football player who is flying under the radar right now. Definitely, the best arm out of the group (I’m talking 55 yards, on the money).

3. C.J. Bennett-5’11”, 198 lbs

If he was only a few inches taller...UCF wouldn’t even have a shot at this kid. This kid is an awesome football player, with a great arm and instincts. Many have compared him to Chase Daniel because of his size.

4. Nance Nash-6’4”, 205 lbs

Nash played on a Darlington team the past three years where he hasn’t been able to showcase his skills. With Darlington being content on running the ball down your throat all day, Nash decided to seek greener pastures by transferring to Calhoun.

Now Nash will be in a more pass-happy offence and has one of the best receivers in the nation with Da'Rick Rogers. Nash should be able to put up his best season.

UCF recruits Calhoun strong, and already has one commit with Cody Ralston.

5. Devin Burns-6’2”, 172 lbs

Burn is a good dual threat quarterback, but seems to rely on the run too much. He has said publicly that he wants to play in a spread offence, which will hurt UCF’s chances with him.
