      <title>The Dallas Mavericks: Life Without Dirk</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Without Dirk, who could have seen this coming? &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;With him, they were barely one of the top teams in the west and now there&amp;#39;s barely a team. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;They do not have another power forward on that team that can consistently give 20 points and eight rebounds. And without that, the Mavericks will have&amp;nbsp;to rely more on Jason Kidd for points (which he is not known for) and the scoring of the other Dallas role players. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This team was once a championship contender, but in the last year, they have lost two things: Their confidence, and their leader, Dirk Nowitzki.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
