So the WWE "It Begins" promo has everyone talking. The creepy video of a little boy and girl has gotten everyone doing a frame by frame analysis to see who will return on Jan. 2.

I have to say that this is the best the creative team has done, as far as creative hype, for a while.  I am going to break down the odds of who the mystery wrestler might be.

Chris Jericho: 50 Percent

Jericho has emphatically stated that he would not be returning to the WWE in the near future. But pretty much all signs point to him. The style, the vocabulary, even the attitude of he boy points to him. But there are even more compelling clues.

Year 2012

2nd

January

The boy in the video has said several things that sound very much like Chris Jericho. The line "I cannot help you anymore," could be a reference to Jericho's last return where he returned as a babyface savior.

The globe that keeps disappearing and reappearing might be a reference to Jericho's old line "I am best in the world at what I do."

If you look carefully at the fifth promo, at about the 36-second mark, the name "Chris" appears to be crossed out on the notebook.

At the 20-second mark of the same promo, a maple leaf is sitting on the ground. Is an angry Jericho coming back to take what is his? Is CM Punk his target?

The Undertaker: 20 Percent

There are aspects of the Undertaker's character in the promo, but it really doesn't fit the way the 2.21.11 promo did.

Still, people are expecting him to return for what might be his final match at WrestleMania, and he certainly is a big enough name.

This would be very disappointing for most fans.

Shane and Stephanie McMahon: 10 Percent

This would be a decent fit. Boy and girl? Check. Familiar force? Check. But Shane McMahon appears to be doing other things now. And the sixth promo specifically referred to a male returning.

The girl in the promo appears to be more of a figment of the boy's imagination than a real person. This was my initial guess after seeing the first promo, but I'm beginning to doubt it.

Christian: 8 Percent

The maple leaf and the X over "Chris" could fit Captain Charisma. He could be taking back what is his - The World Heavyweight title. All he needs is one more match.

Though the promo doesn't really fit him, he could be prepared to unleash his dark side to the world.

Batista: 5 Percent

Highly unlikely considering how he's been shooting on the WWE so often, but still worth a mention.

Vince McMahon: 4 Percent

This is just one of those names you have to throw out there. Considering the Laurinaitis storyline is going on with Punk, I kind of doubt it.

Donald Trump: 1 Percent

He did own the WWE for a week.

Paul Heyman: 1 Percent

It's unlikely, but the promo has a bit of a dark ECW feel. Maybe he's coming in with a new wrestler to manage.

Sting: 1 Percent

It's not Sting. It never will be. I'm sure someone is going to point out the "It Begins" - "I Be Sting" anagram.

Who Do You Think It Is?

The first Raw of the year is going to be a blast. We know that a big name is coming back and the Creative Staff knows they cannot disappoint us.

I have a strong feeling that Chris Jericho will make his grand reappearance and interfere in the Punk-Ziggler title match next week.
