Why do you watch sports?

Some of us love the behind-the-scene storylines that add to the drama that happens on the field.

Some of us are all about the mental challenge that comes into game planning and coaching for each and every matchup.

Some of us just want something to cheer for passionately.

Then, of course, there are some of us that just want to see some awesome plays.

Actually, I'm pretty sure no matter why you watch sports you want to see something spectacular happen every time you tune in.

During today's game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Arizona Cardinals, many witnessed a play that many are referring to as the best all season.

Heck, this play is so spectacular, you may want to put it up there with the best of all time.

Late in the second quarter, Jerome Simpson caught a pass on a short drag route and took off down the sideline for a 19-yard touchdown.

What was amazing was the way he got into the end zone.

Watch for yourself.

Not only did he flip over a defender, but he actually stuck the landing.

Forget the highlights of Reggie Bush or Michael Vick flipping into the end zone. This is going to be the clip on all the highlight reels for years to come.

The Bengals went on to win this game 23-16 in what was truly a must-win game.

They take on the Baltimore Ravens next week with their playoff dreams on the line.

Win and they're in.
