The quarterfinal draw of this season's FA Cup has just been made, and it brings up some very interesting encounters.

Who says the romance of the FA Cup is dead, when Bristol Rovers sit proudly in the quarters? When Barnsley, whose young journeyman side beat Liverpool at Anfield, are rewarded with a home tie with another EPL giant, Chelsea?

Maybe the the FA Cup is not geared towards the big four anymore, but who cares?

I, for one, don't care if Liverpool rest a few players and get beaten by Barnsley. I love it!

Barnsley will tell you it didn't matter who was playing for Liverpool that day (and it was certainly no reserve side), they beat Liverpool!

So the draw says the following...

Sheffield United or Middlesbrough vs Cardiff City

Manchester United vs Portsmouth

Bristol Rovers vs West Bromwich Albion

Barnsley v Chelsea

The draw guarantees a football league side in the last four, and it could even be lowly Bristol Rovers who are completing an amazing season for football in Bristol (Bristol City are pushing for promotion to the EPL).

I doubt we have seen the last of the upsets, and I for one am looking forward to four great quarterfinals in their own right! Who are ya? Who are ya?
