Carlos Beltran will be in right field on Opening Day for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Derrick Goold is reporting that the Cardinals have signed the 34-year-old slugger to a two-year deal, according to m.

Beltran hit for a .300 average with the San Francisco Giants last season and also added 22 home runs and 84 RBIs. The right fielder will certainly help to fill the void that Albert Pujols' departure to Los Angeles left.
