Peeps! Rejoice!

The BOK Center in Tulsa is advertising the return of SmackDown's Christian for the Febuary 7 TV tapings in Tulsa.

Christian was originally injured on November 9 in a match versus Sheamus while the WWE was doing their European Tour.

In a bitter irony, Christian began wearing a neck brace after Big Show give the "Pontiff of the Peeps" a massive choke slam on November 4.

The result of the injuries had him wearing a neck brace and using a crutch on TV. Christian has sporadically appeared on TV, last appearing on the "Slammys" edition of Raw and the WWE's "Tribute to the Troops," where his promo was cut short by Sheamus.

Prior to his injuries, Christian was feuding the hot Sheamus, losing twice on subsequent pay-per-views. Christian was to be involved with "Team Barrett" at Survivor Series in the Five-on-Five Elimination Tag Team match when he was injured.

It's interesting to note that the object of his animosity before the injury, Sheamus, has been listless since the two-time World Heavyweight Champion went down. Sheamus has been featured heavily in a series of "squash" matches against various opponents, but he hasn't received a solid feud in nearly two months.

The WWE seems to be giving him and Jack Swagger a program together, but I don't feel there is much mileage to the feud.

Whether Christian and Sheamus will resume their feud is in quesiton, but the booking seems logical. While SmackDown has been able to get by without Christian, his presence was missed. Christian was a tremendously reliable upper-card wrestler who was on TV every week.
