You can’t deny that 2011 has been absolutely insane.

A number of bombs have been dropped over the past year, but there is probably no bigger story than the Penn State scandal.

From Jerry Sandusky to Kim Kardashian to Bernie Fine to Kobe Bryant there has been plenty to talk about off the court, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a terrific year on the field, too.

The Boston Bruins won a Stanley Cup, which resulted in an all-out riot in Vancouver. Canucks fans proved to be quite the classy fan base.

The World Series ended up being one of the best we’ve seen in quite some time, and included plenty of dramatic moments.

Rob Gronkowski emerged as an elite tight end and as a porn star's favorite.

That’s not all that happened this year, though. Don’t miss Bleacher Report swagger editor Matt King giving us the 2011 year in review!
