B/R 2011 Pro Wrestling Year Awards Nominations

0 of 9

2011 was a year that caught a lot of wrestling fans by surprise due to the suspense and excitement that we saw. Fans had been begging for more quality wrestling and a better weekly viewing of WWE and TNA programming, and we saw just that and more.

Now, pro wrestling still can improve a lot, but right now, I'd say we are seeing some wonderful wrestling that we haven't seen in years, and it is a welcomed sight in my opinion. Now, I've decided to come up with the first ever Bleacher Report wrestling awards because I feel that members of this great website should have a vote on what we believed as great moments, matches, and performers.

This slideshow will go through the 10 awards that I've come up with and thought were worthy enough for consideration, but ultimately the votes will be up to you, the wrestling fans.

Now to vote, you need to leave the comment below in the comment box and list who or what deserves each award. The voting will end on January 2, and I will hopefully have the results posted by January 7 or 8.

    Let's look at the nominations...

(Update Alert) I feel that the votes are very balenced and I will hopefully get to post the final winners sometime in the first few days of January. But I am now allowing write-in votes as well so continue voting!!

Match of the Year

1 of 9

This is first award up for grabs, and I've narrowed the list down to 10 matches that I thought were simply amazing to watch.

In order to be fair to both WWE and TNA, I've picked the top five matches from WWE and the top five matches from TNA in order to come up with this top 10 list.

Now, I feel that each match deserves to be in the running due to its quality of work and fan involvement. So here are the matches you can vote for:
