College Basketball Recruiting: Top 30 Junior Brannen Greene Will Be a Jayhawk
Brannen Greene is an elite scorer

The highest-rated prospect in the state of Georgia for the class of 2013 has decided to end his recruitment early. Brannen Greene will become a Kansas Jayhawk.

He confirmed the news to CBSSports.com in a text message this morning.

Brannen Greene is a 6'6" shooting guard who attends Mary Persons High School in Forsyth, Georgia. He picked the Big 12 power over Connecticut, Florida, Harvard, Louisville, Memphis and Ohio State, among a slew of other interested national powers.

The shooting guard's strength is his shooting from long distance. He will be a powerful scorer at the college level. His height and length will be an advantage for him on the offensive end of the floor.

He will be joining 4-star point guard Conner Frankamp from Wichita North High School in Bill Self's 2013 recruiting class. He is also a top-50 national prospect.
