Steelers vs. 49ers: Ben Roethlisberger Ailing During Warmups

During warmups, Ben Roethlisberger was shown barely limping through his throwing motions. His left leg is in a splint and heavily taped.

ESPN's Steve Young noted that he would still be given drugs prior to stepping onto the field, but that it was obviously causing him discomfort.

If the Pittsburgh Steelers wants to keep Roethlisberger on the field, they should probably sit him this game. In true Big Ben fashion, however, he will play through the pain in their matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.

This is either going to be one of the most amazing or most disastrous nights in NFL history.
