The title to my article demands a lot from a match that seemed to be only five minutes of the TLC pay-per-view.
The Big Show-Mark Henry rivalry came to a head last night at Tables, Ladders & Chairs. Millions of fans around the world tuned in to see an all-out war between these two giants of men.
What we saw was a so-called match between these men that had the potential to be something great. This match was built up to be something extraordinary and turned out to be the exact opposite.
Now, to answer the question "What did we learn from Big Show’s win over Mark Henry?"
My answer would be that Henry can be defeated and that Big Show is probably the only man to do the job.
All it took was a big right hand from Show and he was the new World Heavyweight Champion. It is difficult to squeeze this match for creativity due to it being so dry in the first place.
One other fact that we gained in this Championship match was that Daniel Bryan is somebody you can’t trust. He announced that he would cash in his Money in The Bank briefcase at WrestleMania. Instead, as Wade Barrett predicted on SmackDown prior to SummerSlam, Bryan cashed in on a vulnerable Big Show.
Now that Daniel Bryan has cashed in, we know that he is just like everyone else that has won Money in the Bank. He stole the title away from a man who assisted him in defeating Mark Henry on an episode of SmackDown, proving to us what he is
What will happen now that we have a submission specialist as our new World Champion?
Will Big Show set his rematch with Bryan or simply let this opportunity slip by?
Does Bryan have what it takes to be the World Heavyweight Champion?
