Doug Zerjal, Rams Feature Columnist
The Rams obviously have many glaring holes, but I think their need at receiver outweighs the others. The Rams need a premiere playmaker at the position. While Brandon Lloyd has been a great addition and the injury to Danny Amendola hurt, a young receiver in the draft would be a huge upgrade for the Rams. Maybe someone like Justin Blackmon from Oklahoma State with their first pick. It would be cheaper to draft a young talent with the rookie wage scale rather than sign a veteran.
The Rams already spent the #2 pick in the 2009 draft on OT Jason Smith. He's been a bust.
