The NHL trade rumors have been in full swing, with some of the league's biggest names being caught in the hearsay.

One of those names is Buffalo Sabres goaltender Ryan Miller. His up-and-down season has lead to speculation that he may be dealt or at least shopped around.

There are a number of teams that could court the services of the Michigan native.

Let's take a look at five teams that would love to have the services of the former Vezina winner.

Anaheim Ducks

At the height of the Ryan Miller trade speculation, rumors were surfacing that the Ducks and Sabres were discussing a potential deal.

Some even went as far as to speculate a trade involving Bobby Ryan and Ryan Miller.

The deal would make sense on two fronts.

The Ducks haven't been happy with the play of their current goalies, as they are currently ranked 26th in goals-against average.

Additionally, Ryan Miller's wife, Noureen DeWulf, is an actress who lives in nearby Los Angeles

Slightly ahead of the Anaheim Ducks, ranking 25th in goals-against average is the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Their play in goal, lead by beleaguered goalie Steve Mason, has been downright appalling at times.

At this point, a deal for Miller doesn't seem too likely.

However, they could dangle Jeff Carter, who has been a part of this own trade rumors.

Toronto Maple Leafs

Wouldn't this be an all-time shocker?

Could anyone imagine Ryan Miller donning the blue and white and playing for the hated Maple Leafs?

The Toronto Maple Leafs have a pretty solid corps of young goalies, but they don't seem to be ready to step up.

They could be a legitimate goaltender away from being a true competitor.

Tampa Bay Lightning

Dwayne Roloson doen't appear to have much left in the tank, so the Tampa Bay Lightning will need to acquire a goalie if they hope to continue their success from last season.

The Lightning have a fascinating group of prospects that they could offer up for Ryan Miller.

However, they'd better be prepared to give up a lot if they want Miller.

Winnipeg Jets

The Winnipeg Jets have made a surge of late after a slow start to the season.

They would love to acquire Ryan Miller and keep the fans energized.

Their goaltending has been erratic since the start of the season.

Obtaining Miller would be a significant step in the right direction for the franchise.

They also have a great corps of young players, including Evander Kane, who has been linked to trade rumors
