WWE ends their pay-per-view schedule tonight with a pay-per-view inspired by the Tables, Ladders and Chairs matches of yesteryear.
At TLC, as is custom in every one of their other events, there is one table match, one ladder match, one chairs match (whatever that is) and a TLC match. There are also some regular matches on the card tonight as well, but the night is really about the specialty matches.
A tables match pits an up-and-coming Wade Barrett trying to get a major win for his career by taking down Randy Orton.
The ladder match has a personal rivalry as friends-turned-enemies climb for the right to use a sledgehammer on one another. Triple H and Kevin Nash fight in the same ring for the first time in eight years.
The chairs match includes World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry against Big Show in a final encounter where bad blood and bent chairs have been used for months between these two.
The matches without weapons have a great build as well. Fans have been buzzing for it and will get to see Dolph Ziggler face Zack Ryder for the United States Championship. There will also be a return to the ring as the six-time world champion Booker T tries to become Intercontinental Champion against Cody Rhodes.
The crown jewel of the night has the first-ever triple-threat TLC match in WWE history as WWE Champion CM Punk must take down two former champions in The Miz and Alberto Del RIo.
Consider this your cheat sheet for all of the action. All of the matches will be explained and broken down. There will be a prediction from myself and another Bleacher Report article with more background to the match.
