Jean-Sebastien Giguere remains a force in his 15th NHL season, where he continues to post numbers reminiscent of his days in Anaheim. Giguere was acquired by the Colorado Avalanche in the off season to take on a backup role which has brought new challenges for the Conn Smythe trophy winner in 2003. His professionalism, knowledge, and experience has proven valuable for the young goalies in the Avalanche system as they continue to grow in the NHL. In an interview with NHLPA.com, Giguere discusses his introduction to the goalie position as a child in the Montreal area and his journey to become a Stanley Cup winning goaltender.
