There have been some lopsided trades in NBA history, but David Stern's decision to veto the Chris Paul trade to the Los Angeles Lakers has everyone up in arms.

While it's definitely a unique circumstance given that the New Orleans Hornets are currently owned by the league, there was just no reason for Stern to exercise his power in disallowing this deal to go through.

Furthermore, the commissioner has been rather unreasonable in trade discussions with the Los Angeles Clippers, basically asking for every potential asset in return for the prized point guard.

Not including draft day swaps (i.e., Dirk Nowitzki for Robert "Tractor" Traylor), here are 10 trades that passed through the commissioner's office rather inexplicably.
