When the helmet of Browns quarterback Colt McCoy met that of Steelers linebacker James Harrison, two veritable dice were cast. Not only was the NFL being put to the test about how it handles players re-entering games after suffering head trauma, but also how it disciplined the players who perpetrated them.
Unless Harrison's appeal goes through, he'll sit this weekend while the rest of his team plays San Francisco. It probably won't.
Meanwhile in Cleveland, Colt McCoy's father has been critical of how his son's team put No. 12 back in the game. Usually when a parent yells at a coach, it's because his son isn't playing enough.
Dan Levy and I run the gamut over the Colt McCoy issue. And before you leave anything in the comments, just know that the heavy coat and the tank top were his idea.
