The Future of the WWE: Wrestlemania 30
The road to Wrestlemania has begun and we're all thinking of the possible matches that could come up by the time the granddaddy of 'em all rolls around.
Who will win the Royal Rumble and gain a title shot at the big one? Will there be an elimination chamber before Wrestlemania? These are just a few of the questions that the WWE universe is pondering, but what about the line up for the 30th occasion of the PPV? What will be on the card for Wrestlemania 30?
Within the next five years the following wrestlers could be retiring:
- Shawn Michaels
- Undertaker (20-0 at Wrestlemania)
- Triple H
- Batista
- Kane
- Chris Jericho
- JBL
- Finlay
- Big Show
- Rey Mysterio
- Tommy Dreamer
- William Regal
- Chavo Guerrero
Most of the divas will probably be gone by then too seeing as they don't seem to have a long shelf life in the WWE.
I'm sure that there will be others, or maybe some of the mentioned superstars will still be hanging around, but let's just assume that what is written above is fact. That is a huge hole for the WWE to fill within five years. Who will step up?
The top wrestlers left in the company would be:
- John Cena
- Randy Orton
- Edge
- Jeff Hardy
- Matt Hardy
- CM Punk
- Ted Dibiase Jr.
- Cody Rhodes
- John Morrison
- The Miz
- Kofi Kingston
- Evan Bourne
- Brian Kendrick
- Shelton Benjamin
- Mr Kennedy
- Hurricane Helms
- Carlito
- Primo Colon
- R-Truth
- Jack Swagger
Now don't get me wrong, I think that list of superstars is a good sign for the future of the company, but there isn't a lot of star power and most of the wrestlers are mid-card level at best. A lot of wrestlers need to be developed, and quickly!
All I can say is GOOD LUCK VINCE!
