Rivers Helps Clemson Move to No. 16 In ESPN/USA Today Poll, No. 20 In AP

K.C. Rivers scored 28 points against Miami, was named ACC Player of the Week and helped Clemson move up to No. 16 in the lasted ESPN/USA Today Poll.

Rivers is averaging 14.7 per game.  He has scored in double figures in 9 of the 12 games, including 32 against Liberty.

Last week Clemson was No. 20 in the ESPN/USA Poll and No. 22 in the AP Poll.  The Tigers are 12-0.  Coach Oliver Purnell has started the last four season by 10-0 and the last three season by going 11-0.  Clemson leads the ACC for most wins and is undefeated along with North Carolina and Wake Forest.

Rivers, a senior, is the leader of the squad, along with Trevor Booker, Terrence Oblesby and Demontez Stitt.
