WWE News: Update on Undertaker's Opponent for WrestleMania XXVIII

There has been plenty of debate on who the Undertaker's opponent will be come WrestleMania. This could be the biggest and last defense of the streak, in which the Deadman will attempt to go 20-0. Recent names that have been thrown around are Mark Henry and Wade Barrett, but now it seems another rematch may be in store.

According to Sescoops.com, current plans are for another WrestleMania encounter between Triple H and the Undertaker:

We noted yesterday that WWE officials are currently planning a WWE Championship match between CM Punk and the returning Chris Jericho.

On Monday’s RAW, Triple H returned and cut a promo on The Undertaker, the man he’s already faced twice at WrestleMania. According to sources within WWE, the current plan is for Triple H to get yet another shot at ending the streak, as Triple H vs. Undertaker 3 is currently scheduled for WrestleMania.

If this report is true, WWE is preparing for a huge triple main event featuring Cena/Rock, Y2J/Punk and HHH/Taker. Personally, I'd like to see an up-and-coming star like Wade Barrett get an opportunity to cement himself by ending the streak, but there's no doubting those two veterans will be able to deliver once again.

It makes sense, considering the promo he cut on last night's RAW. Although it may have seemed like a bit of a tangent, it does plant the seed for another high-profile contest. If it does occur, the big question going into April 1st will be the health of both men.

What do you guys think? Is HHH/Taker III the way to go, or should someone else get a shot?
