The Maryland Terrapins and the Nevada Wolf Pack will play for the first time ever when the two teams match up in the 2008 Humanitarian Bowl in Boise, Idaho.
This is the third straight bowl showing for Maryland, and the sixth in the team’s last eight seasons. In the team’s bowl history the Terrapins have a 9-11-2 record.
This is the ninth bowl game in school history for Nevada, which has lost its last two postseason games, including a 21-20 loss to Miami-Florida in the MPC Computers Bowl, which is currently the Humanitarian Bowl.
