This season for the Texas Longhorns will be considered a success, no matter what the outcome will be in the desert. This team in the pre season was picked at best to finish 3rd in the Big XII south. But after a great run and a tragic loss, they ended in a three-way tie for the division.

While most people will argue that Texas should be in the national championship game, and have been in the Big XII title game. I am one fan who is happy to say, We are right where we need to be. This team was not supposed to be a title contender.

But as it worked out, Texas had a run where they were mentioned as the best in the nation. I was very heart broken when we lost to Texas tech. But looking back, This team just had to many tough games and ran out of steam.

So for the fans sitting around complaining. Let's stop, And look forward to a great game on January 5 Th. I for one will be happy regardless of the outcome. Because in the grand scheme of things, this wasn't supposed to happen this year. And we know Colt, Jordan Shipley and possibly Sergio Kindle will be returning next year.

With that said, Next year Texas will have a great shot at repeating this years success and taking it to the next level. So, Till next year, Enjoy the ride and hope for better next year.
