Ask the Experts: Why Are the Falcons so Hot and Cold?

After a 31-23 comeback win against the Panthers, there's one question on the mind of every Falcons fan: Why are the Falcons so hot and cold?

Consistency is their biggest issue. They either come out red hot to start the game, or wait until times are desperate to pick up the pace. The defense has held strong most of the time, even with several injuries to their starters.

The offensive line seems to be the biggest issue. Matt Ryan can only do so much on his own. They aren't creating as much space for Michael Turner to run either. It might be due to the fact that the coaching staff hasn't really decided on their identity. Of course, that all goes back to consistency.
