The Cardinals had three plays longer than 40 yards. One came on a perfect throw. Two came on sheer physical brilliance of Arizona receiver Larry Fitzgerald. The Niner defense did just fine. There were no blown coverages, no meltdowns or quit. The Cardinals - er, Fitzgerald - made the plays. What it shows,however, is if the Niners had scored TDs on two of their three Red Zone possessions then Fitzgerald's brilliance would not have mattered. It's the offense.
