I Was Wrong: San Diego Chargers Thump Denver Broncos

Brad JamesCorrespondent IDecember 29, 2008

I make mistakes much more often than I'd prefer.

With that said, I grudgingly tip my hat to the Chargers for being the better team.

Obviously the Broncos have numerous problems to fix on the defensive side of the ball and if Chargers fans find this article, more power to them.

The point of the matter is they have the dynamic Indianapolis Colts to worry about and that game should be exciting.

I am looking forward to all of the postseason matchups as all four of them over the course of next weekend promise to be magnificent.

As for my final take on the Broncos' season, a -17 turnover ratio is no way to win football games consistently and while the season had its bright moments, expectations have risen.

Jay Cutler and Ryan Clady are nice pieces to build around but I bid 2008 adieu in hopes that 2009 will be better.
