Fantasy Football Rankings: Aaron Rodgers and the Top 5 QB Plays
Stop me if you've heard this before.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers has systematically dismembered nearly every defense he's faced to this point in the season, and with the Oakland Raiders the next victim up Rodgers is once again the top fantasy play at his position in Week 14.
1.) Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers (vs. OAK): The seventh year veteran has tossed at least three touchdown passes in all but three games this season, and it's unlikely that a suspect Oakland Raiders pass defense is going to make it four.
2.) Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints (at TEN): Brees has now passed the 4,000 yard and 30 touchdown mark for the fourth consecutive season, and a Tennessee Titans secondary without one of its' top cornerbacks will be hard pressed to slow him down Sunday.
3.) Tom Brady, New England Patriots (at WAS): Fantasy football's fourth ranked quarterback may have cooled off a bit from his ridiculous start, but the Golden Boy should still post excellent stats against a so-so Washington Redskins secondary.
4.) Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers (vs. ATL): Newton broke the single-season record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback a week ago and may add to that total against an Atlanta Falcons defense that is a favorable fantasy matchup for quarterbacks.
5.) Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions (vs. MIN): No team in the National Football League has surrendered more fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season than the Vikings, so Stafford should have a field day when the two teams meet this week in Motown.
