NBA Offseason: New Orleans Hornets Re-Submit Chris Paul Trade to League Office
The three-way trade that would send Chris Paul to Los Angeles has been resubmitted to the league and is currently under review.
Although specifics have not been made available yet, a source close to the negotiations has said that all three teams reconstructed this trade believing that it was good enough for David Stern to approve. We will only truly know Chris Paul's fate once the trade is official. But, for now it looks quite promising.
Hornets general manager Dell Demps announced on Friday Night, at a news conference, that the organization has "been given autonomy to make another trade".
The National Basketball Players Association is prepared to represent Paul against the league, however, they have decided to wait until this deal gets processed to take any action.
Stay tuned for any updates. The official trade may be announced later tonight or early tomorrow morning.
