Gators Will Be Sooner-Dead

I have been reading and hearing all this drivel about how the Sooners have "no shot" against the Gators in the upcoming BCS National Championship game, about the speed and athleticism of the mighty Gators, and about how the Sooners are over matched in every way. That is debatable.

I've heard it all, starting with pundits spewing lofty praise for the apparently untouchable SEC. NEWS FLASH: The Big Twelve is a far better conference this year, top to bottom.

Take a good, hard look at the Sooners. They are just as fast, just as athletic, and just as hungry as Florida. Oklahoma scored more than any college football team in history!

Yes, the Gators have a good defense, but look at who they played. This was a down year for the much-vaunted SEC, and the competition was mediocre at best!

Florida is a good team with a solid defense, but they have seen nothing of the likes of the power, speed, and athleticism that they will come face to face with on Jan. 8 in the form of the OU offense.

Mark my words: Oklahoma will celebrate its eighth national championship on 1-08-09, and the Sooner Schooner will roll on. 

Final score: Oklahoma 51, Florida 28. Sorry to all you SEC & Florida fans!
