Vlad Moldoveanu to Transfer out of George Mason

Chris BrooksCorrespondent IDecember 28, 2008

Sophomore forward Vlad Moldoveanu is reportedly going to transfer, according to a Fox Sports Blogger. I spoke with a George Mason player who confirmed this to be true.

Moldoveanu is attempting to transfer as soon as he can, and I guess that means we will no longer see the highly recruited Romanian in a George Mason jersey again.
This season, Moldoveanu is only averaging 2.3 points and 2.1 rebounds per game. He has only played in seven of GMU's 10 games. In the seven games he played, only three times did he play over 10 minutes, and only one time over 20 minutes.
In that game, in which he played 22 minutes, Moldoveanu scored 12 points in the win over Brown in the home opener.
