NBA Free Agents 2011: Tracy McGrady to the Atlanta Hawks

According to ESPN's Stephen A. Smith, the Atlanta Hawks and Tracy McGrady have agreed to a one-year deal. The contract is believed to be for the veteran minimum.  

Last season McGrady averaged eight points per game and played in 72 games for the Detroit Pistons.  

With this signing, McGrady will be joining the sixth NBA team of his career—fourth in the last three seasons.  

McGrady will most likely fill the hole left by Jamal Crawford, who doesn't appear likely to re-sign with the Hawks.
