Mick Foley, the hardcore legend, has finally returned to the WWE.
So far, Mick Foley has had two major roles on WWE TV.
He hosted the "This Is Your Life" segment with John Cena. Second, he hosted a live, holiday-themed SmackDown.
These two appearances are not good enough, though—fans want him in another match.
Today, I am going to list seven reasons Mick Foley should get back in the ring again. This list is based on the current WWE product.
It Would Bring Back Older Fans
Ever since WWE turned PG back in 2008, they have steadily lost the majority of older fans.
Seeing Mick Foley back in action again would definitely attract older fans to watch WWE again.
Who knows? Maybe some of them will like the current product and stick around.
The Promos
If you have heard Mick Foley on the mic, you know he has not lost a step.
To this day, Mick Foley is still one of the most entertaining superstars on the microphone.
Could you imagine a back-and-forth argument on the mic against someone like CM Punk?
Television gold.
To Help the Younger Superstars
The WWE brings back older superstars for two reasons.
One, to help with ratings.
Two, to help younger superstars make an impact
The WWE has been in a funk for a few years because of their lack of star power.
Bringing superstars back gives WWE the chance to get current stars noticed.
Numerous Storyline Opportunities
When Mick Foley re-signed with WWE, many fans were curious how the WWE would decide to use him.
The possibilities with returning stars are endless because they are already established.
That's why when Mick Foley returned, he could have either ignited a feud with an old rival or come in as a completely new character.
Hardcore Legend
How many people in the WWE today are considered hardcore?
Anyone?
The WWE needs Mick Foley around to fill a void that hasn't been filled since the beginning of the PG Era.
Proper Sendoff
Every legend need a proper sendoff.
The proper sendoff is unique to every wrestler, but it is always special.
Ric Flair had his final match in the WWE against longtime friend Shawn Michaels.
Shawn Michaels had his last match against Undertaker in a streak vs. career match.
Goldust wants a match against his half-brother Cody Rhodes for the IC title at WrestleMania.
Mick Foley needs a proper sendoff, and that is...
Wrestlemania 28: Undertaker vs. Foley
What better way for these two superstars to end their careers than against each other?
These two revolutionized the business together and could be considered longtime rivals.
This match would be a must-see for any current, past and future fan.
