Season Greetings 2008! It is the distant future, December 2009! I come to tell you what has happen in this glorious year of the NBA that was way better than 2008.

If you do not want all the surprises of the upcoming year in the NBA then stop reading now. We will have the MVP, Comeback Player of the Year, and Rookie of the Year all revealed to you in the far away past.

If you thought the Celtics vs. the Lakers is a good final, just wait to hear what happens in 2009...All the surprises come in the upcoming slides. As the great Rick James would say: "It's a celebration! Enjoy Yoself!"

NBA MVP

It wasn't seen from anyone, but the NBA MVP is Andris Biedrins.

The man finished off a strong second half by averaging 20 points 20 rebounds a game. He leads his team on the court and off the court to a No. 2 seed in the West. Unfortunately for the Warriors they got swept in the first round by a No. 7 seed Mavericks team.

NBA Comeback Player of the Year

This is something no one thought they would ever say about Eddy Curry, but in the distant future, the year 2009, Curry has become the epitome of hussle and hardwork.

The man carried his Knicks team, after being injured for the first half of the season, to a No. 5 seed in the East. The man really deserves more recognition, maybe an MVP in the upcoming year?

NBA Rookie of the Year

He has captivated a nation all the way from Minnesota with his SportsCenter Top 10 moments where he would outlet a pass! Bam! Isn't he amazing at outlets. The NBA officially started collecting a new stat called Great Outlet Passes (GOP).

"Kevin Love deserves to be the Rookie of the Year" said the second placed Derrick Rose. "If K-Love would have been on my team we would have probably won the conference."

NBA Finals Recap: Spurs vs. Pistons

In the distant future, the NBA Finals turn out to be another boring matchup between the Spurs and the Pistons.

This makes David Stern sad, but everyone else sad because LeBron James was traded to the Spurs for Matt Bonner and Manu Ginobili, and Kobe Bryant being traded to the Pistons for Jason Maxiel and Rodney Stuckey.

The combination of Kobe and AI are good enough to barley beat LeBron and Duncan in a seven game series that ended with a game winning shot in each of them. I do hear that in 2010 that the tides do turn toward the younger Spurs.

NBA Draft

Number one overall pick Blake Griffin gets selected by the Clippers who won the lottery with only a 2.3 percent chance of winning.

Some of my friends in the future say that the not even he can make the Clippers any better.

NBA Preseason Favorites

The preseason favorite to go all the way in 2010 are the Boston Celtics after making a huge move to acquire LeBron James from the Pistons for Paul Pierce and Ray Allen.

Now the big two of LeBron and KG are expected to make up for the big disappointment of last season.

Summer of 2010

As Spike Lee and I have been pondering what is going to happen in the Summer of 2010, it is really surprising that we still care now that we have been covering it now for the past year and a half, but it will be a fun summer hopefully for basketball and the New York Knicks, or whoever that LeBron may sign with.
