The Cowboys were about two seconds away from being 8-4 with a commanding two-game lead in the NFC East division. 

But instead of allowing his kicker to take a shot at a 49-yard field goal, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett essentially iced his own kicker, Dan Bailey, who made a long field goal that was negated due to the late timeout. About a minute later the kick was up, and no good.
