In a battle between Urban Meyer's old team and new team, I think the Ohio State Buckeyes will earn a victory.

The Buckeyes will battle the Florida Gators on January 2 in the Taxslayer.com Gator Bowl. Even though it's a nice location for the Gators, I think Ohio State will emerge victorious.

The biggest thing working for the Buckeyes will be their rushing attack. They average nearly 200 yards per game—an astonishing number. When plays break down, Braxton Miller has the ability to keep plays alive, and if needed, run for some big yardage.

The Gator linebackers are talented, but they will have their hands full trying to contain one of the most athletic young quarterbacks in the country.

The Buckeyes had a poor ending to the season, but they will have a month to regroup. Their five conference losses were all by a touchdown or less, and they (arguably) should have won more than one of them.

With some time off, they will be able to prepare more, which should have them ready for a close game.

Finally, Ohio State will defeat Florida because they have Meyer on their side. He is 7-1 in bowl games, and even though he isn't doing any actual coaching, his mojo will definitely have a positive impact for the Ohio State side.

Both of these teams are in a transition period, but the game will still be plenty interesting. Even though the game is in Jacksonville, I think the Buckeyes will come back with a victory.
