A lot of people are asking the question, "is Tennessee for real this year?" Bruce Pearl and his squad have continually answered a resounding "yes."

With a 21-2 record and number-four ranking as of this writing, you might tend to agree.

But I've noticed something lately: Tennessee seems to have a lot of close games.

After the LSU game I was starting to think, maybe this is all just a dream. I thought 47-45 was the halftime score. Maybe I dozed off and missed something—but no, there it was, 47-45 final score.

Then again, Tennessee most always seems to find a way to win. They have had some great come backs. They have lost some big leads. Still they find a way to win. Except for UK and Texas they have tore through their schedule like Sherman through Georgia.

Still the question remains, "is Tennessee for real?"

They will play Memphis on Feb. 23rd. If they win then we can say yes Tennessee is for real. But if they loose, unless they loose really big, then the question is still unanswered.

We may have to wait until the season is over to get an answer. In the mean time, I am just going to enjoy watching them play.

GO VOLS!!
