Mark Martin: Retired or Active?

Catherine WorrallCorrespondent IDecember 24, 2008

Mark Martin, the former driver for the No. 6 car, has won several cups during his career with NASCAR. Since he originally announced his retirement from NASCAR he has become a part-time driver for DEI (Dale Earnhardt Inc.). He drives the No. 01 car, the US Army for DEI.

Now he is back as a full-time driver for Hendricks Motorsports and he drives the No. 5 car, replacing Casey Mears. He signed a contract with Hendricks Motorsports for two years as a full-time driver. He drove with Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, and Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

The whole time I thought that he was fully retired from NASCAR, only driving part-time.

Do you think he should retire from NASCAR or continue for one year as a full-time driver or one more year as a part-time driver?

I would like to hear your opinion.
