NASCAR is successful because of its close ties with its sponsors. These partnerships have led to the creation of some wonderful commercials, with drivers hawking their sponsors' products.

This year has been a memorable one for unique and innovative NASCAR commercials. Here are my picks for the Top Ten NASCAR commercials.

The Master Of Sponsor Hawking Has A Stalker

10. Michael Waltrip has given us some of the most innovative commercials with his loyal sponsor, NAPA. The link below that shows this commercial of a stalker fan at the NAPA Auto Parts Store with Mikey is priceless and probably so true!

Tylenol Rapid Release Commercial Sports Funny Moment

9. Kevin Harvick steals the show in this commercial for Tylenol Rapid Relief gels. The setting is a "Feel Better Fast" talk show, anchored by NASCAR champ Jeff Gordon.

A caller phones in to ask the panel of Gordon, Elliott Sadler, Jimmie Johnson, and Kevin Harvick what he should do about his girlfriend, who wants him to get in shape.

Sadler and Johnson share their tips, only to be outshone by Harvick's quip to just "get a new girlfriend!" Take a look using the following link!

So What if Jimmie Is Champion, Can He Fix That Broken Light Pole?

8. Yes, Jimmie has collected the Sprint Cup in 2008. But his "real" job seems to be fixing things with his Kobalt tools, at least in this commercial.

Nothing that needs fixing, whether it's a school bus, a broken mailbox, or a mangled fence can escape the three-peat champ and his tool box. Thanks, Jimmie!

Carl Edwards Takes Second to the Duck

6. It's hard to be upstaged by a duck, but Carl Edwards does just that in this Aflac commercial. Even though Carl "taught him that," the duck doing Edwards' signature backflip after a race win has all the ladies going wild! Check it out on the following link:

Kevin Harvick Sings The Nationwide Jingle

5. This commercial features one of NASCAR's happiest drivers singing "Nationwide is on your side" while doing incredible donuts in a cul-de-sac. Gotta love it! Enjoy the following link...and sing along with Kevin!

Jeff Burton Goes For His Master's in Business Accomodations at Holiday Inn

4. Who says Jeff Burton isn't a funny guy? He most certainly does get flummoxed at this Holiday Inn business meeting when he is grilled about his helmet getting stuck on his head and why he doesn't sport a mullet! Enjoy Jeff's more humorous side at the following link:

Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Goes Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom

3. In this classic, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. shows just how excessive the force is on a race car driver at every turn, almost as forceful as the 800-pound. gorilla who is trying to take Junior down.

Thank goodness Junior drinks AMP energy drink. Enjoy this "sweet mother" of a commercial by following this link:

Tony Stewart Passes the Torch and the Steering Wheel

2. In this bittersweet commercial, Tony Stewart hands the reins (and the steering wheel) of the Home Depot car over to young phenom Joey Logano. Wish both drivers all the best by clicking on the following link:

Kasey Kahne Dances His Way to the Top

1. The best commercial for 2008 is far and away that dancing fool Kasey Kahne and his Allstate girl sidekicks.

As the girls daydream about what they would do with their Allstate Safe Driving checks, Kasey dances his way into their hearts and minds, announcing with authority, "Here I am."

This commercial leaves us all truly "satisfied"! Click on the following link to master your dance moves with Kasey. And here's to another new batch of NASCAR commercials in the New Year.
