Apparently, "The Masterpiece" is looking to get back on TV again—you can't blame him, that's where the money's at.
However, Chris Masters is taking an interesting approach in his attempt to land a job.
On Nov. 26 Masters tweeted:
chris mordetzky I think @tnadixie needs some encouragement. Can I rally the IWC.For all those who support me, let her know!
Mordetzky is Masters' real last name and it seems he really wants to work for TNA. However, one has to wonder how much interest there is on the other end. Lets face it, TNA really doesn't need another mid-card talent on its roster.
As it stands, TNA barely makes enough time for the TV title to be defended weekly.
As much as it would be nice to see Mordetzky back on TV, I don't feel TNA is the best fit. Ideally, he could go to ROH and re-brand himself there. TNA may be the number two promotion, but there are definitely other options.
Both MVP and Giant Bernard (aka Prince Albert) have made a huge splash in Japan. Let's not forget Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas, as they too have done well since their WWE departure.
Ultimately, the ball is in TNA's court, and if there is no interest, Mordetzky should start looking at other options.
