Yankees Breaking Baseball With Big Money Signings

Josh JakersContributor IDecember 23, 2008

Not only are the Yankees ruining baseball for the fans, but they are also ruining it for fellow owners, players, and managers of other teams. The Yankees are making a mockery of America's pastime. They are turning one of the most competitive sports into a one-team league. If commissioner Bud Selig doesn't act quickly, the owners will strike and create yet another lockout in baseball.

Something must be done. How are other teams throughout baseball expected to compete with the four highest salaries in baseball? (A-Rod, CC, Teixeira, and Jeter). The answer is they cannot.

Isn't it amazing how history always seems to repeat itself? Baseball has gone on strike once before for this same exact reason, and it seems that it will again unless something is done.
